Coca-Cola announced it is teaming up with America’s most beloved local pizza spots to launch Toss In, Take Out – a restaurant takeover series serving up iconic slices and pies, not for any amount of money, but instead, for the act of recycling one plastic bottle!
The takeovers will kick-off at the famous Bleecker Street Pizza in New York City on October 24 before popping up at Goodfellas in Atlanta on November 2 andLou Malnati’s in Chicago on November 7.
Toss In, Take Out is in celebration of the expansion of Coca-Cola Trademark brands (Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero Sugar, Coca-Cola Flavors) 20-oz bottles made from 100% recycled plastic* to new markets such as Chicago, Atlanta, and the Pacific Northwest.
A classic NY slice, Chicago deep-dish…any way you slice it, few things pair better with pizza than an ice-cold Coca-Cola. For one day only, those who bring in an empty plastic beverage bottle (including non-Coke products) to be recycled have the opportunity to use it as currency in exchange for their hometown’s pizza and an ice-cold, 20-oz 100% recycled plastic bottle* of Coca-Cola (their choice of Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero or DASANI).
