The LA Design Festival × ROW DTLA

While we might not be able to gather, we can still certainly take a gander. The LA Design Festival is heading back to ROW DTLA, taking up residence with a series of installations and exhibitions that will be on view virtually and IRL. Read on to find out more about what’s in store for design fans this September 24-27, 2020.

FEATURED INSTALLATIONS & EXHIBITIONS:

  • INTRO / LA
    Hyper-curated independent design show INTRO / LA returns to the LA Design Festival featuring some of the most revered LA-based designers and makers. A few of these artists are Atelier de Troupe, Stephen Kenn, Block Shop Textiles, and Brendan Ravenhill.
  • OBJECT PERMANENCE
    Scrappy design show founded by Emma Holland Denvir and Leah Ring showcase Object Permanence. It focuses on two-dimensional art and design with a special collection of protest posters.
  • LIGHT RIDERS
    Daniel Rizik-Baer and David Howe illuminate a storefront with a special installation entitled Tunnel Vision, designed specifically to transport consciousness to destination unknown. They use light and lighting to tell stories and shape experiences.
  • STUDIO LEFT
    Experiential design studio Studio Left, with Irma Hardjakusumah, creates Shell, a play of structure and skin. It explores the concept of enclosures and spaces as a piece of architecture.
