Since 2015, Halsey has amassed over 25 billion streams worldwide and sold more than 11 million adjusted albums globally. She has played sold out dates on five continents (including New York City’s Madison Square Garden), been nominated for a GRAMMY® and appeared on a wide variety of magazine covers, including Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, NYLON, Forbes, Playboy and Billboard. Her 2015 debut album, BADLANDS, was certified Platinum by the RIAA within one year of its release.

Halsey claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with 2017’s Platinum-certified hopeless fountain kingdom, which contained such hits as the 2x Platinum “Now or Never” and the 4x Platinum “Bad at Love.”

The success of the 6x Platinum “Without Me” has made Halsey the first and only female artist to have at least three songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100 for 50 weeks each. Rounding out the trio of songs are the 4x Platinum “Eastside,” her collaboration with Benny Blanco and Khalid, and The Chainsmokers’ 11x Platinum “Closer,” which she featured on. “Without Me,” which took Favorite Song, Pop/Rock honors at the American Music Awards, spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in early 2019, marking her first solo single to reach the top spot. It now ranks as the longest-running Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit by a female artist of this century. She is the first artist to rank at Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously on Billboard’s Hot 100 Pop Songs radio airplay chart. In March 2019, Halsey became the first artist in history to replace herself at No. 1 twice on the U.S. Pop Songs Airplay chart when “Without Me” returned to No. 1, bumping “Eastside” from the top spot. “Without Me” was the most-played song of 2019 at U.S. radio. She featured on BTS’ Platinum hit, “Boy With Luv,” and, more recently, alongside Future on “Die for Me,” a track from Post Malone’s new album.

Halsey continues to push creative boundaries, expanding her influence and impact beyond music. After making her film debut in the animated 2018 summer movie Teen Titans GO! as the voice of Wonder Woman, she was seen in A Star is Born, starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. She continues to use her voice to speak up for causes she passionately believes in, including disenfranchised youth, women’s rights, mental health and the LGBTQ community. GLAAD honored her in 2018 as “Outstanding Music Artist.” In 2019, she has won an AMA, the Hal David Starlight Award, presented by the Songwriters Hall of Fame, a VMA and two Teen Choice Awards.

YUNGBLUD “Hope For The Underrated Youth”

Locomotion / Geffen Records recording artist YUNGBLUD releases brand new song, “Hope For The Underrated Youth” today. Written by Dominic Harrison (YUNGBLUD) and produced by Dominic Harrison, Zakk Cervini and Chris Greatti, “Hope For The Underrated Youth” is available HERE. The song premiered earlier today on BBC Radio 1 as Annie Mac’s “Hottest Record In The World.”

On Saturday evening, Yorkshire-born singer-songwriter YUNGBLUD caused havoc on London’s River Thames. Lucky fans were invited onboard a chaotic ‘YUNGBLUD cruise,’ which saw him give a special live performance of fan favorites. He concluded the spectacle with a megaphoned speech against the backdrop of Britain’s Houses of Parliament, which saw projections of the words “there’s hope for the underrated youth” emblazoned upon them. WATCH THE MAYHEM HERE!

YUNGBLUD is known for voicing what he feels are major concerns for his generation, using his music to unite and empower the youth of today. New single “Hope For The Underrated Youth” is no exception and explores the idea of his generation being misunderstood and underestimated. Of the track, YUNGBLUD said: “The world right now tells us fall in line, it tells us what you’re allowed to care about, think about, even to the point what air you should fucking breathe. Things are changing drastically, a lot of the time not for the better and it’s hard to watch. I meet so many young people every day and the one common denominator I find is the constant fire to defy apathy and the optimism to do anything in your power to fight for a better, more equal world. This song is about freedom of speech. This song is about freedom of expression. This song is about the forward thinking, racism hating, LGBTQ+, liberal “sinners” that we all are. I see that there is hope for this “underrated youth” and I believe the future looks bright because we are in it.”

YUNGBLUD will take to the main stage at Reading & Leeds Festivals this summer (August 23-25). Last month, YUNGBLUD announced his fall Twisted Tales of The Ritalin Club Tour which sees him headlining larger venues – including The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles (September 17), the Vic Theatre in Chicago (October 4) and New York City’s Webster Hall (October 14). See the full itinerary HERE.

The run will conclude at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC on October 17. See below for itinerary.

Tickets for Twisted Tales of The Ritalin Club Tour go on sale to the general public this Friday, June 28, starting at 10:00 AM local time. Check your local box office for exact times. In addition to general admission tickets, the tour will offer an exclusive merch bundle in partnership with Hot Topic.

Today, the UK artist unleashed the official video for his new track, “Parents.” Directed by Miles and AJ, the clip brings the song’s stinging lyrics and vivid characters to life. Watch the video HERE.

Hailing YUNGBLUD as a “Community-Driven Rock Star,” PAPER said, “His new track, ‘Parents,’ continues the story he began telling on his debut album, 21st Century Liability…It’s a defense of the unheard voices in a losing battle against authority; Yungblud is speaking to his fans in doing so, and in turn, is affirmed in his fans’ support.”

Less than a year after the release of his debut album, 21st Century Liability, YUNGBLUD has amassed more than 350 million global streams across all songs and platforms. “Parents” follows his single “Loner,” which has over 15 million combined global streams, and YUNGBLUD & Halsey feat. Travis Barker – 11 Minutes, which has racked up over 160 million cumulative streams.  He recently partnered with Z2 Comics on an original concept graphic novel, YUNGBLUD presents The Twisted Tales Of The Ritalin Club, slated for release in October and available for pre-order in deluxe and standard editions now.

YUNGBLUD Releases “Loner” Acoustic

UK recording artist YUNGBLUD releases the acoustic version of his song “Loner” today. The song is available HERE via Locomotion / Geffen Records.

The acoustic version was recorded in London with Matt Schwartz who produced YUNGBLUD’s full length debut album, 21 Century Liability.  The original version has over 20 million combined streams.

“I wanted to just get in the studio with the boys and totally strip it back. This is such an important record for me so I was buzzin to bring it back to something raw.”

Last month YUNGBLUD released Live In Atlanta recorded during his sold-out October 10, 2018 show at Vinyl. The 12-track set kicks off with “21 Century Liability” and includes searing versions of “I Love You, Will You Marry Me,” “Psychotic Kids,” “California” and “Die For The Hype.”

Next month YUNGBLUD sets out on his 2019 North American tour commencing May 3 at Terminal West in Atlanta and includes a May 15 show at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom. The second leg of the headline run will begin in June with a series of West Coast dates, including a night at Los Angeles’ intimate Roxy Theatre (June 19). February 21, 2019 — (Santa Monica, CA) — The video for the recently released song from Yungblud & Halsey feat. Travis Barker – 11 Minutes (Locomotion / Geffen Records) is available HERE.

The video, directed by award-winning filmmaker Colin Tilley, explores the emotional stages of grief and loss to tell the story of 11 Minutes.  “We don’t realise how much we need something until it’s taken away from us,” says Yungblud.  “We are so distracted and focused on what’s next, we can fail to see what is actually in front of us.”

New Music from YUNGBLUD with Halsey feat. Travis Barker

YUNGBLUD’s new single with Halsey and featuring musician (also former Blink-182 band member) Travis Barker is out now. The song titled 11 Minutes “tells the story of a perfect tragedy that reflects modern love within our society. We are so distracted and focused on what’s next, we can fail to see what is actually in front of us. We don’t realise how much we need something until it’s taken away from us,” says YUNGBLUD.

YUNGBLUD – 11 Minutes (with Halsey feat. Travis Barker)

Made with producer/songwriters Matt Schwartz (Cold War Kids, Kylie Minogue), Zakk Cervini (Good Charlotte, Mayday Parade) and Chris Greatti (Grimes, Black Veil Brides), the hypnotic track combines moody guitar work and high-powered drumming with Halsey and YUNGBLUD’s urgent vocal exchange to spin the story of a couple that sabotages their relationship before it’s really even begun by caving in to societal pressures.

With Halsey – the GRAMMY® Award-nominated, multi-Platinum singer/songwriter who recently topped Billboard‘s Hot 100 with her 2x Platinum hit “Without Me” – and GRAMMY® Award-nominated musician Travis Barker – who has sold millions of records with his bands blink-182, Transplants, +44, and solo work, and made Rolling Stone’s list of the greatest drummers of all time – YUNGBLUD found like-minded souls who shared his vision.

“Working with Halsey and Travis was a fucking dream – at the end of the day we’re all rock kids,” says YUNGBLUD. “We grew up with a mutual adoration for the genre so it completely makes sense that we would come together and try to modernise it.”

YUNGBLUD Shares “California” Video

UK recording artist YUNGBLUD shares the video for “California” today.  Watch it HERE.

The video was filmed this fall during YUNGBLUD’s North American headline tour in support of his 2018 full length debut album, 21st Century Liability (Locomotion / Geffen Records).

More to come from YUNGBLUD in 2019.

YUNGBLUD SHARES VIDEO FOR “MEDICATION”

YUNGBLUD shares the video for “Medication,” the new single from his full-length debut, 21st Century Liability, available now on Locomotion/Geffen Records.  The video, directed by Adam Powell, (The 1975, Pale Waves)  can be viewed HERE.

YUNGBLUD (Dominic Harrison) says, “I think growing up in a heavily medicated, overprescribed society you quickly learn how to use drugs to distract yourself from addressing what’s going on in real life.”

YUNGBLUD

UK recording artist Yungblud, whom NME has said carries himself like “a hyper-addictive mix between rapper Eminem and Johnny Rotten,” releases his self-titled debut EP today via all digital partners. Listen to Yungblud HERE.

With his frenetic take on alt-pop equally inspired by punk, hip-hop, and UK garage, Yungblud uses breakneck flow and tongue-in-cheek attitude to deliver pointed lyrics about everything from gentrification to disenfranchisement to addiction without getting heavy-handed. “I want my music to always have a message, but I don’t want to preach to anybody,” says the Northern England native, whose given name is Dominic Harrison. “This music’s just an outburst of emotion and anger, and everything else going on in my head.”

The Yorkshire-born, London-based Yungblud, produced by Matt Schwartz – known for his work on Massive Attack and Kylie Minogue, and brought to Geffen/Interscope by executive producer Martin Terefe who has worked with Jason Mraz and KT Tunstall.

The EP features “King Charles” and “Tin Pan Boy” (which Wonderland called “a bold and biting call to social justice”) and the current single “I Love You, Will You Marry Me,” which takes its title from a real-life, ill-fated marriage proposal spray-painted at a public housing project in South Yorkshire. Watch the live performance video for “ILYWYMM” HEREand the self-directed video for “Tin Pan Boy” HERE. The EP also includes two brand-new songs, “Anarchist” and “Polygraph Eyes,” a seedy portrait of a Saturday night out that also serves as a delicate commentary on consent and “lad mentality.”

In a recent profile of Yungblud, Wonderland raves about his “captivating songwriting,” while Nylon notes that “Harrison imbues every ounce of raucous energy into songs that defy genre.” NME has called him “utterly thrilling” and says that “what makes Yungblud so intriguing is the versatility in his material already, and how confident he feels about pulling it all off.”

Yungblud, who is on the road in Europe through early February, hits the road for a U.S. spring tour with K.Flay beginning March 12 in Washington, DC. “If you ever get the chance to see him perform live, his passion is evident in the way he throws himself around the stage, spitting ferocious lyrics at the front row and strutting around with the confidence you only have if you were born to do something,” writes Wonderland
