Shop Amazon’s Curated Coachella 2019 Storefront

Amazon’s new festival-inspired storefront includes everything attendees need to make the most out of their time at Coachella – portable phone chargers, sunglasses, sunscreen, and more – available to ship to an Amazon Locker inside festival gates, at no additional cost.

Today, Amazon opened its curated storefront for the 2019 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival featuring festival essentials from categories like fashion & accessories, beauty, health & wellness, tech, and camping. Items available include sunglasses, sunscreen, pain relievers, bug spray, portable fans, disposable cameras, nail art, and more. This new festival-inspired storefront gives customers the ability to order all of their festival essentials — either in advance for delivery to their home or to an Amazon pickup point, or by shipping directly to an Amazon Locker located inside the gates of Coachella.

The curated Coachella storefront on amazon.com offers festival essentials approved by Coachella for delivery to an Amazon Locker inside the festival gates. The store features an array of items to help customers make the most out of their experience, from categories like fashion & accessories, beauty, health & wellness, tech, and camping. Items available include sunglasses, sunscreen, pain relievers, bug spray, portable fans, disposable cameras, nail art, and more. Customers can shop and ship these festival essentials at amazon.com/Coachella.

“Our Amazon festival storefront is a one-stop shop for Coachella attendees. From functional items like sunscreen and hand sanitizer, to trendy accessories like instant-print cameras and aviator sunglasses, we’ve got festival-goers covered,” said Patrick Supanc, Amazon Worldwide Director of Lockers and Pickup. “Combined with the first-ever Amazon Lockers located inside the festival grounds, we are helping attendees spend less time worrying about packing and more time enjoying the experience of a lifetime that is Coachella.”

Coachella 2019 takes place across two weekends in April: Weekend 1 is April 12-14 and Weekend 2 is April 19-21. Amazon shipping timelines for these dates are as follows:

  • From now until Thursday, April 11, customers can plan ahead and order their festival essentials to their home, nearest Amazon Locker, or just about anywhere else.
  • Beginning Thursday, April 11 at 6 a.m. PT, customers can shop and ship directly to an Amazon Locker located within festival grounds. The deadline to place orders for delivery during Weekend 1 is Sunday, April 14 at Noon PT.
  • Customers attending the second weekend of Coachella can ship directly to the festival starting on Thursday, April 18 at 6 a.m. PT. The deadline to place orders for delivery during Weekend 2 is Sunday, April 21 at Noon PT.
  • Orders placed by Noon PT on festival days (April 12-14 and April 19-21) will receive same-day delivery at no additional cost. All packages must be picked up before each festival weekend ends. Only Coachella pass holders will have access to the Amazon Lockers located within festival grounds.

Shipping to an Amazon Locker at Coachella is easy. During checkout, starting April 11 at 6 a.m. PT, customers will select one of the Amazon Lockers named “Coachella,” all located in zip code 92201, as their shipping address. Once their package is ready for pickup, customers will receive an e-mail with a barcode that they’ll use to pick up their package from one of the Amazon Lockers located within the venue. Amazon team members will be onsite to answer any questions from customers picking up their packages.

To celebrate the first-ever appearance of Amazon Lockers at Coachella, Amazon is giving away two VIP passes to Weekend 2 of the festival, as well as $3,000 for travel and accommodation. The winner and a guest will get to see their favorite artists and experience an Amazon Locker at Coachella firsthand. Customers interested in entering can visit amazon.com/Coachellagiveaway for more details and the official rules. The winner will be awarded by a random drawing to be held on or about April 6, 2019.

Amazon Lockers are available in more than 900 cities and towns across the U.S. as an alternative, secure, and convenient delivery option available at no additional cost. Amazon Lockers are one of the many pickup points that Amazon offers to bring the ultimate convenience to customers. Other pickup points include AmazonPickup Locations in neighborhoods, cities and campuses across the U.S., and Hub by Amazon for apartment buildings.

For more information about Amazon Lockers at Coachella, visit amazon.com/Coachella.

In addition, Amazon has worked with actress and musician Vanessa Hudgens to shop the store and select her favorite items that she plans to wear to this year’s festival (see below).

Amazon is also giving away two VIP passes to Weekend 2 of the sold-out festival, as well as $3,000 for travel and accommodation. Those interested in entering can visit amazon.com/Coachellagiveaway for more details.

“It’s no secret that Coachella is one of my favorite events of the year. I am pretty good at making sure I have all the essentials but it never fails that I forget something. That’s why I’m so excited to be partnering with Amazon this year – they’ll have lockers in the festival grounds to make it easier to order something if I forget to pack it.” says Vanessa Hudgens.

JMBLYA Festival

ScoreMore Shows is proud to announce the full music lineup for the seventh annual JMBLYA, which will return to Dallas and Austin May 3 and 4, respectively. GA and VIP ticket packages will go on sale this Friday, March 1, at noon CT at www.jmblya.com.

The two-city, two-day fest is set to officially kick off in Dallas on Friday, May 3 with a return to the historic Fair Park near downtown Dallas followed by a stop in Austin on Saturday, May 4 at the award-winning, multi-purpose entertainment facility Circuit of The Americas (COTA). Last year, both locations hosted JMBLYA’s largest crowds to date with 60,000+ total attendees across two days. Parking will once again be complimentary to all attendees at COTA.

In the tradition of years past, JMBLYA will offer festival-goers a stacked lineup filled to the brim with a highly curated selection of today’s hottest and most sought-after hip-hop performers. Grammy Award-nominated multi-platinum rapper/producer and Texas-native Travis Scott will headline the 2019 festival. Scott is arguably one of the the most popular and influential artists of the past year with recent accolades including a performance at the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime Show and the August release of his third studio album Astroworld, which has since been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and which featured Scott’s first number one song on the US Billboard Hot 100, “Sicko Mode.”

Other notable performers on the lineup include three generations of outstanding emcees from Louisiana, including Grammy Award-winning and oft-labeled “Best Rapper Alive” Lil Wayne, who continues to perform in support of his recently released, long-awaited twelfth studio album, Tha Carter V; hustler-turned-rapper Kevin Gates, who continues to churn out new music following 2018’s Chained to the City and Luca Brasi 3 mixtapes; and one of today’s most exciting up-and-comers, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, who continues to perform in support of his debut studio album, Until Death Call My Name, released last spring.

Also set to grace the main stages at JMBLYA 2019 are rappers Gunna and Sheck Wes, both of whom are touring with Travis Scott as part of his nationwide “Astroworld—Wish You Were Here” tour; viral sensation-turned-emcee Bhad Bhabie, who is currently the youngest female rapper ever to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and who continues to tease new music from her yet-to-be-named debut album; and Los Angeles hot act Blueface, whose most recent single, “Thotiana,” continues to gain popularity while making waves on radio stations across the country.

Additional performers include female hip-hop duo City Girls, who are currently signed to Quality Control, the music label home to other rap megastars like Migos, Cardi B, and Lil Yachty; Houston’s own Maxo Kream, who just released his long-awaited debut album, Punken, this past January; and rising Filipino-American artist P-Lo, who might be most known for founding the hip hop record production collective HBK Gang and who released his sophomore studio album, PRIME, this past July. Two aspiring Texas-based emcees, WhooKilledKenny from Austin and 10k.caash from Dallas, help to round out the 2019 lineup.

This year, JMBLYA is also offering its most luxurious VIP ticket option to date with the debut of the Drop Top VIP package for $2500.  This package includes four festival passes, complimentary golf cart rides from stage to stage, a personal professional photographer assigned to the ticket-buyer and their three guests throughout the event; a very special and private porta-potty with a bathroom attendant; a custom shout-out from JMBLYA’s social media channels, a Drop Top-only trailer filled with free snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments, and two food vendor tickets valid for use at any food vendors on the festival grounds. Those interested in any of the VIP packages, especially Drop Top VIP, are encouraged to act fast and purchase soon as each option is limited in quantity.

Each leg of the 2019 festival will again support a local charitable partner. On Day 1 in Dallas, JMBLYA will benefit Music Forward, a highly-regarded nonprofit organization which transforms young lives, inspires careers, and champions a more inclusive music industry. Music Forward has impacted over 1M lives and invested $25M towards providing transformational music opportunities to youth from under-represented communities during the last 25+ years. In Austin for Day 2, the festival will donate a portion of proceeds to Grounded in Music, an Austin-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which works with underprivileged children in grades 4 and up to provide music instruction that would be otherwise absent from their school’s curriculum and to connect children with nationally-recognized musicians, opportunities, and scholarships.

JMBLYA would also like to thank returning sponsors Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Red Bull who are helping to make the 2019 festival possible.

Be on the lookout as more JMBLYA news, including the full performance schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

Moby to Be Honored at Adopt the Arts

ADOPT THE ARTS TO HONOR MOBY WITH THE SOUND AND VISION AWARD AT 7TH ANNUAL BENEFIT GALA ON MARCH 7, 2019

ADOPT THE ARTS HONORS: MOBY WITH SPECIAL GUESTS!

ADOPT THE ARTS is honored to announce MOBY as the 2019 recipient of the ADOPT THE ARTS SOUND AND VISION AWARD for his contribution to the music and arts industry throughout his lifetime. The musician, artist, activist and author has impacted music lovers for decades, selling more than 20 million of his own records worldwide and playing more than 3,000 concerts throughout his career, wowing fans with his musical genius. MOBY will officially be honored at this year’s benefit gala, ADOPT THE ARTS HONORS: MOBY WITH SPECIAL GUESTS, on March 7, 2019, at THE WILTERN in Los Angeles, with the VIP after-party to be held at THE LINE HOTEL with special guest DJ Shepard Fairey.

The Los Angeles-based charity, ADOPT THE ARTS, co-founded by Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame Inductee and Grammy Award-winning musician MATT SORUM (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver), activist ABBY BERMAN and founding board member, Golden Globe® Award and Emmy Award-winning actor JANE LYNCH, hosts the annual gala to raise funds to support their mission of preserving arts programs in U.S. public elementary schools. Additional live performances and special guests appearing at the annual gala will be announced in the coming weeks.

“Matt and I have felt that for the long-term sustainability of Adopt the Arts, we needed to broaden our base,” explains ADOPT THE ARTS co-founder Abby Berman. “By moving in another direction musically, we feel that we can appeal to a new audience. Moby seemed like a great first step in that direction for many reasons, including the fact that his music resonates with a broad and wide range of people, he has collaborated with many of the top names in the industry, and he has been using his voice for good for years for many philanthropic causes. I couldn’t think of a more deserving artist to be honored this year.”

ADOPT THE ARTS Chair and Co-founder Matt Sorum adds, “With more than two decades of an incredible music catalog and his journey selling over 20 million records worldwide, Moby has gained International acclaim. Along with his activism for Global Warming and Animal Rights, among other causes he stands for, Moby also advocates Music Therapy as a healer. He continues to lead in music and art, but his vision and voice for a better planet is what helped with our decision at Adopt the Arts to honor him at our event this year.”

ABOUT ADOPT THE ARTS

In collaboration with well-known artists, entrepreneurs, policy makers and the general public, Adopt the Arts is dedicated to improving the academic performance of every child through the gift of making music and art. ATA is focused on developing strategic relationships with educators, administrators and board members to ensure that most underserved schools in the district are identified and ultimately, helped. Co-founders Abby Berman and Matt Sorum believe that it is morally and ethically incumbent upon the public-at-large to foster the creativity, hopes, dreams and imaginations of our children. To date, ATA has donated more than 1000 instruments to 30 LAUSD schools and fully funded the music program at Rosewood Avenue and Westminster Elementary. Each school has been “adopted” by a celebrity or public figure, exposing children to inspirational people who have worked hard for their successes. The interaction between the children and adoptee creates a sense of responsibility and shared commitment for all of those involved.

ABOUT MOBY

Moby was one of the most important dance music figures of the early ’90s, helping to bring the music to a mainstream audience both in England and in America. Moby fused rapid disco beats with heavy distorted guitars, punk rhythms and detailed productions that drew equally from pop, dance and movie soundtracks. His music differed from both the cool surface textures of ambient music and the hedonistic world of house music. He remained one of the most recognizable figures within techno.

Born Richard Melville Hall, Moby received his nickname as a child, derived from the fact that Herman Melville, the author of Moby Dick, is his great-great-grand uncle. Moby has been making music since he was 9 years old. He started out playing classical guitar and then went on to play with seminal Connecticut hardcore punk group the Vatican Commandoes when he was 13. He started DJ’ing after leaving college and was a fixture in the late 80’s New York house and hip-hop scenes.

He released his first single, “Go” in 1991 (listed as one of Rolling Stones’ best records of all time), and has been making albums ever since. His own records have sold more than 20,000,000 copies worldwide, and he has also produced and remixed scores of other artists, including David Bowie, Metallica, The Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, among others.

He has toured tirelessly, playing well over 3,000 concerts in his career, and has also had his music used in hundreds of different films, including “Heat,” “Any Given Sunday,” “Tomorrow Never Dies” and “The Beach,” among others.

Moby works closely with a variety of different charities, including The Humane Society and The Institute for Music and Neurologic Function, and in 2007 he launched Mobygratis, which provides free music for independent film makers. Moby is known for his strong political and religious views and for his animal rights activism.

On March 7, 2019, Adopt the Arts Foundation is honored to welcome Moby as our 2019 ATA Honoree for his contribution to the music and arts industry throughout his lifetime. This will be an amazing night with live performances and special guests.

ABOUT SHEPARD FAIREY

In 1989, while at Rhode Island School of Design studying for his Bachelor of Fine Art in Illustration (which he earned in 1992), Shepard Fairey created the “Andre the Giant has a Posse” sticker that later evolved into the OBEY GIANT art campaign. In 2008, his portrait of then-Democratic candidate Barack Obama became an internationally recognized emblem of hope. Since then, Fairey has painted nearly 100 public murals, become one of the most sought- after and provocative artists in the world, and changed the way people converse about art and view the urban landscape.

Caesars Entertainment x Las Vegas Stadium

Caesars Entertainment Corporation announced today an unprecedented 15-year partnership that will make Caesars Entertainment (Caesars) the first founding partner of the Las Vegas Stadium, the future home of the Las Vegas Raiders, elevating Caesars’ profile in professional sports.

“The Raiders are proud to welcome Caesars Entertainment as a founding partner of Las Vegas Stadium,” said Marc Badain, President of the Raiders. “We are honored to align with a company that shares the Raiders’ values of improving the local community and delivering exceptional customer service in creating this transformative project.”

“Sports have long been a core part of the Caesars experience,” said Chris Holdren, Chief Marketing Officer for Caesars Entertainment. “With this deep partnership, Caesars will become an essential part of the game time ritual for Raiders fans everywhere. From activations to exclusive experiences, fans of the silver and black will see Caesars as their home on game day.”

The historic partnership also marks the first Raiders deal with a gaming and hospitality company, providing select Caesars Entertainment customers and Total Rewards members access to exclusive experiences like the customized Caesars-branded Owners Suite at the 50-yard line of the Las Vegas stadium, VIP Dinners on the field, training facility events, fantasy camp participation, stadium tours, along with tickets to home games and most stadium events.

As a Founding Partner, Caesars Entertainment will host a branded stadium entrance and drop off zone, digital signage, media, radio and print assets in addition to alumni, player and cheerleader appearances – giving the company a commanding presence.

This partnership with the Las Vegas Raiders follows the company’s recent announcement with the Baltimore Ravens, Maryland’s only partnership between a National Football League team and a casino.

The 65,000-seat stadium will bring 520,000 people to home games each year, when it opens for the 2020 NFL season.

PETE YORN x SCARLETT JOHANSSON

Today, Pete Yorn & Scarlett Johansson share the music video for their latest single “Iguana Bird.” Watch it HERE.

Directed by actress, producer, and filmmaker Bonnie Wright (best known for her role as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter series), the clip serves as the perfect visual companion to the song. “Pete Yorn and Scarlett Johansson’s new single ‘Iguana Bird’ evoked for me that new loneliness you feel in the wake of a break up, having spent every moment with someone you now have to create new memories that feel forced and out of touch with what you know,” Wright told PAPER about the track. “I was inspired by the dance scene in Jean Luc-Godard’s film ‘Bande å part’, most particularly Anna Karina’s character, and the vulnerable beauty often explored in French cinema during the 60s. I have been an admirer of LA-based choreographer and dancer Nicola Collie for a while and it was such a joy to direct her in this enclosed world we created for the music video.”

“I have been a fan of Bonnie’s work,” Yorn says about working with Wright. “She came to us with a visual concept that really captured the emotion behind the song in an original way.”

The song remains a standout from the pair’s critically acclaimed Apart EP, available at all digital retailers now via Capitol Records. Forbes praised the “fun” track, while High Snobiety called it a “charming duet carried by a wave of crashing guitars.”

Last month, Yorn launched An Evening with Pete Yorn, the You and Me Tour. The critically acclaimed gold-certified singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist performs along the East Coast and Midwest on the intimate run. Tickets for the remaining dates, including limited edition options to purchase VIP backstage experiences where fans can meet Pete, watch soundcheck and even attend a pre-show performance of a song in the dressing room, are on sale now. Full routing can be found below and visit PeteYorn.com for more details.

Apart continues to incite applause from fans and critics alike. In an extensive feature, Entertainment Weekly claimed, “The dreamy alt-pop on the new EP demonstrates that the creative kinship between the troubadour and the movie star is much closer than you might expect.”

“There is a cycle to everything – art, culture, design, life – it’s always moving from present to future. ComplexCon has this cycle, where so many ideas are swirling, the atmosphere is charged with potential and from that energy, amazing ideas, new interpretations, and collaborations are formed and the cycle continues,” said Takashi Murakami. “There is chaos in the world right now but also an incredible movement of young people rising up to create something better and from that energy new ideas and movements are forming ripples through everything in culture. It was important to embrace this at ComplexCon this year.”

Planned by his mom, the public viewing and fan memorial allowed audiences to pay their respects to the multiplatinum game-changing artist together and do so in harmony. A moving tribute video created by Justin Staple, Quinton Dominguez, and Tyler Benz [Vice/Noisey] played for the capacity crowd during the proceedings as XXXTentacion’s music played inside and out of the stadium. Various celebrity VIPs attended, including Lil Yachty, Ugly God, Denzel Curry, Skai Jackson, Lil Uzi Vert, Adam 22 and more. Fans also left thousands of messages on commutative poster boards. XXXTentacion’s tribute video and images from the memorial can be found below.

This represents the culmination of a week of memorials across the country by fans everywhere. Beyond an outpouring of social media support from Kanye West, Diddy, J. Cole, Big Sean, and more, Academy® Award winner Jamie Foxx took to the stage at the BET Awards to deliver a moving message in remembrance. Longtime friend and collaborator Ski Mask The Slump God donned a mask in honor as further tributes poured in from the ceremony courtesy of actor Christian Keyes, Desiigner, and many others. Meanwhile, Meek Mill sported an XXXTentacion shirt during his much talked-about performance of the new single “Stay Woke.”

At the same time, XXXTentacion’s multiplatinum single “SAD!” from the chart-dominating ? ascended to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 as if forever cementing his impact. Leaping from #52 to #1, the song becomes “the first posthumous #1 for a lead soloist since The Notorious B.I.G.’s ‘Mo Money Mo Problems in 1997,” according to Billboard. Eight other tracks hold spots in the Hot 100 such as “Moonlight” at #16, “Changes” at #18, “Jocelyn Flores” at #19, “FK Love” [feat. Trippie Redd] at #28, “Everybody Dies In Their Nightmares” at #42, “The Remedy for a Broke Heart (Why Am I So in Love)” at #58, “Hope” at #80, and “Numb” at #82. At Spotify, “SAD!” crushed Taylor Swift’s record for “Most Streams in a Single Day” and generated over 10.1 million in less than 24 hours.

XXXTentacion remains the voice of his generation, and that voice will live on forever.
