Yung Gravy “Tampa Bay Bustdown”

Buzzing Minnesota-born rapper Yung Gravy releases his new track “Tampa Bay Bustdown” feat. Chief Keef & Y2K today.

Listen to “Tampa Bay Bustdown” feat. Chief Keef & Y2K: HERE

“We made ‘Tampa Bay Bust Down’ like 7 months ago and I hit up Lil Tracy for his blessing since he had just dropped his own country-style rap song,” Gravy says on the track. “Then we heard ‘Old Town Road’ and knew people would instantly think we copied it. But, we realized that ‘Tampa Bay Bustdown’ bangs way too hard to not drop, so we gotta feed the people.”

On “Tampa Bay Bustdown,” Gravy and Sosa sing and flow over a unique beat produced by Y2K— a simple Southern-style banjo reminiscent of “Deliverance” is met with a heinously hard-hitting 808 pattern. Both rappers deliver some unforgettable bars and melodies that blend together perfectly with the beat.

The track follows the release of his critically acclaimed debut album Sensational, which includes tracks like “Alley Oop,” the basketball anthem featuring Lil Baby and “Gravy Train,” the 808-heavy trap twist on Maxine Nightingale’s “Right Back Where We Started From.” Sensational followed the viral success of his Snow Cougar EP, which featured “Mr. Clean” and “1 Thot 2 Thot Red Thot Blue Thot,” both certified gold by the RIAA.

Yung Gravy has headlined 3 sold out tours in North America and sold out tours in Europe and Australia/NZ as well. This fall, Gravy is headlining his 40-date tour of the US, Canada and Europe: “Experience The Sensation, Part 2.” Tickets are available here.

Growing up in the small farming town of Leamington, Ontario, Raffoul first started writing songs at age 10, thanks in no small part to the influence of his father—a musician who’s opened for everyone from Joe Cocker to Bon Jovi. After landing his first paying gig—playing to long-haul drivers at a local truck stop—Raffoul began playing at nearby bars and clubs at age 16, often driving into Detroit for shows. He eventually connected with a manager and moved down to Nashville to push forward with his music career. Soon after scoring a deal with Interscope Records, Raffoul released the critically hailed song “Driver” and followed that with his debut EP 1975 in June 2018 which featured the fan favorite “Acoustic.”

Critical praise followed with NPR raving, “Billy Raffoul has stepped into the spotlight.” Over the past few years, Raffoul has opened for heavyweight artists like, Kings of Leon, X Ambassadors, NEEDTOBREATHE and Kaleo, captivating crowds with his understated yet intensely passionate stage presence.

Today, breakout singer, songwriter and producer Chelsea Cutler unveils her new single, “How To Be Human,” out now via Republic Records—listen HERE!

“How To Be Human” reveals Cutler’s inimitable knack for songwriting with honest and vulnerable lyrics, as she pleads, “I still don’t know how to be human, I don’t know what I am doing, please tell me how to be human.”

Watch it HERE

Everything sets the stage for his full-length debut coming soon via Republic Records. Undoubtedly, Ramos is set to cement himself as one of today’s boldest, brightest, and bravest new voices. Born and raised in Bushwick and of Puerto Rican descent, Anthony Ramos first made his mark originating the dual roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the TONY® and GRAMMY® Award-winning Broadway smash Hamilton. In 2018, Ramos ignited his music career as an independent solo artist on his own terms. Not only did he lend his voice to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Almost Like Praying” benefit single, but he also began architecting a sharp and soulful signature take on contemporary music. He teamed up with producer Will Wells [Logic, Pentatonix] for The Freedom EP, which garnered acclaim from Billboard and many others.

Ramos is currently in production as the lead in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s highly-anticipated ‘In the Heights’ movie directed by Jon M. Chu for Warner Bros to be released in June 2020. Most recently, he appeared in the Academy Award-winning film A Star Is Born, directed by Bradley Cooper and starring Lady Gaga where he played ‘Ally’s’ (GaGa) best friend and the critically-acclaimed Netflix series She’s Gotta Have It, created by Spike Lee, based on his 1986 film. He has contributed multiple songs to the show’s soundtrack, including the poignant new original song “Cry Today, Smile Tomorrow.” The song was inspired by Ramos working with a patient at Katie’s Art Project an organization that connects children facing life-threatening illnesses with artists through collaborative programs to create a lasting legacy through art. Ramos is repped by Modest! Management and Door 24.

Julia Michaels Releases Intimate Video for “Body”

Grammy® Award-nominated multiplatinum singer and songwriter JULIA MICHAELS just released the video for “Body,” a deeply personal song from her latest release Inner Monologue Part 2. Watch HERE.

The video premiered on Teen Vogue yesterday alongside an as-told-to essay where MICHAELS touched on the

inspiration behind her new song and video, and her own experiences with learning to love herself. Of the video MICHAELS says, “In the video for “Body,” I came up with the idea to start in a bunch of layers, and by the end I’m completely stripped. The second verse of the song is me talking about how I cover up. I wear big, oversized sweatshirts so that I can cover my body. I do all these things to make me feel more comfortable in my own skin, but really it’s making me more uncomfortable when I take it off because I’m constantly masking myself. I wanted to show people how I am versus how I could be.”

Julia will bring the song to life on the second leg of THE INNER MONOLOGUE TOUR which kicks off October 16 in Tempe, AZ and stops coast-to-coast. Check out the full confirmed itinerary below. Tickets are on-sale now HERE.

GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer and songwriter Julia Michaels has transformed the pop music landscape not only from behind-the-scenes as one of the most in-demand songwriters, but in the spotlight as a solo artist as well. Her rapid rise can be attributed to identifiable honesty in every lyric, as exemplified in her triple-platinum selling debut single “Issues”.  In 2018, she garnered GRAMMY® Awards nominations in the categories of “Best New Artist” and “Song of the Year” for “Issues,” which amassed nearly 2 billion streams worldwide.

Continuing that success, “Issues” notably became “the top-selling debut single by an artist in 2017,” and placed as the only solo female composition on Variety’s “30 Most Consumed Songs of 2017.” As a songwriter, MICHAELS has co-written 21 titles that have charted on the Billboard Hot 100, eleven of which have hit the Top 40, including “Issues.”  Those songwriting credits include smashes like Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” Selena Gomez’s “Good for You” [feat. A$AP Rocky] & “Hands To Myself,” and Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself.”  She’s alsowritten titles for Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Linkin Park, Ed Sheeran, John Legend, P!NK, Maroon 5, Jessie Ware, Janelle Monae, KeithUrban, Shawn Mendes and more.  The cumulative worldwide stream tally for songs she has co-written is 20 billion to date.

Since her debut as a solo artist, MICHAELS has built an enviable touring resume, joining artists like Maroon 5, Keith Urban, Shawn Mendes, Niall Horan, and P!NK, around the globe.

Conan Gray “Checkmate” Music Video

Beyond buzzing 20-year-old pop singer-songwriter Conan Gray has released the official music video for his infectious single “Checkmate” today!

Check out the official music video for “Checkmate
 here!

On the video Conan Gray said:
“In the “Checkmate” music video, I finally get revenge for all the times I got played with in a relationship. If you wanna treat love like a game, I’m gonna win it. If you wanna cheat on me with my best friend, I’m gonna trick you into thinking I don’t know, then kidnap you both and send you to starve on a deserted island so you can spend the rest of you short lives alone together (just like you wanted). Cheers!”

On writing the song he also mentioned:
“‘Checkmate’ is a song that spewed out of me while alone in my bedroom. It took me about four minutes, and I just ugly cried out a whole song about this person I liked who was always playing games with my heart. They’d call me super drunk in the middle of the night telling me they loved me, then they’d spend the next week cold and ignoring me. “Checkmate” was my last draw; my way of saying “I’m done with these games. If you wanna play this game, I’m gonna win.’”

This fall he returns to the road for his next North American headline,
“The Comfort Crowd” Tour. The six-week run kicks off October 29 at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO, performs in major markets across the country including New York’s Terminal 5 on November 12th, and concludes with a three-night stand at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, CA December 11-13th(third date recently added!). Not to mention he’ll be making his festival debut this year at Lollapalooza and Life is Beautiful Festival.

www.conangray.com/tour.

“The Comfort Crowd”
Tour follows his recent sold out European tour, and a momentous North American spring headline tour that saw him perform to sold out crowds in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Toronto, to name a few.

Gray
continues to make major waves on his own terms. A string of hits has vaulted him to the forefront of modern pop. “Checkmate” has already reached nearly 3 Spotify streams in the first two weeks and counting. Meanwhile, his Sunset Season EP put up impressive numbers, generating a staggering 80 million streams as he averages over 2.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify. No wonder, i-D crowned him “gen z’s ascendant king of sad boy pop,”, MTV called him its new “Prince of Pop”, and Paper praised his, “unprovoked honesty.”

Every online ticket purchased comes with one (1) CD of Conan Gray’s upcoming album. Ticket buyers will receive an additional email with redemption instructions to receive their albums. US/Canadian residents only.

Armed with nothing more than Garageband and a cheap microphone taped to a lamp, Conan Gray released his song “Idle Town” on his YouTube channel as an ode to his hometown of Georgetown, TX. The song went viral, and he later joined forces with LA based producer
Dan Nigro to finalize his Sunset Season EP, featuring singles “Generation Why” and “Crush Culture”. The EP debuted in November, 2018 to widespread critical acclaim from The Fader, Billboard, and Ones To Watch, amongst others. In January, 2019, Conan made his television debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers, before opening for Panic at the Disco! for several shows on their arena tour. Conan has sold out two North American headline tours as well as his most recent May, 2019  European tour.  Recently called the ‘Prince of Pop’ by MTV, he will be performing at Lollapalooza in Chicago and Life is Beautiful this summer before headlining his next North American tour in the fall. Conan has been featured in Paper Magazine, I-D Magazine, and the Sunday Times.

Carte Blanche features the double-platinum single “Taki Taki” ft. Selena Gomez, Ozuna& Cardi B — the second global #1 record for DJ Snake. After premiering in September, “Taki Taki” became the ninth-fastest music video of all time to amass 100 million views on YouTube. With its title translating to “the freedom to do whatever one chooses,” Carte Blanche finds DJ Snake fully embodying that spirit by breaking all musical and creative boundaries. A native of Paris, he names his country’s cultural melting pot — as well as his worldwide travels in recent years — as a key inspiration in bringing the genre-defying sound of Carte Blanche to life. To that end, the artwork for Carte Blanche features images of the iconic Arc De Triomphe (a global symbol of freedom).

In addition to “Taki Taki,” Carte Blanche includes hits like “Enzo” (a collaboration with Sheck Wes, featuring Offset, 21 Savage & Gucci Mane), the India-inspired club smash “Magenta Riddim,” and the bilingual summer anthem “Loco Contigo” (with J. Balvin & Tyga).

Released last month, “Loco Contigo” is accompanied by a wildly colorful video from Colin Tilley (an award-winning filmmaker known for his work with Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj). Check out the “Loco Contigo” video HERE.
