Mir Fontane “Bodega” MV

Camden rapper, Mir Fontane kicks off the fall with his new “Bodega” music video, which premiered exclusively with Hypebeast. The Sage English directed visuals were dedicated to Bronx teen, Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz, who tragically lost his life outside of a bodega this past June and sparked a national outcry for legislation to require small businesses to protect children in danger on their property.

Fontane told Hypebeast, “To me, the bodega always represented a hub for the community… but it also embodies the spirit of the hustle and grind. The owner of the bodega is one of the first true businessmen you meet growing up in the hood.” “Bodega” is the second video off of Mir’s latest EP release, Macaroni Tony, after the release of his “New Friends Ft. Kodi Shane” visuals. Be sure to look out for new music from Mir Fontane this winter.

PRIVÉ REVAUX LAUNCHES CAPSULE COLLECTION WITH ACTRESS MADELAINE PETSCH

Disruptive Eyewear Brand taps Riverdale Star for Campaign and Exclusive Designs

Celebrity-approved eyewear brand Privé Revaux is proud to announce its new capsule collection and campaign in collaboration with actress Madelaine Petsch. Available for purchase on April 9, the Privé Revaux X Madelaine collection will offer limited-edition, colorful and on-trend styles, each selected and developed by the Riverdale star.

I am beyond excited to share these meticulously and personally curated sunglasses with everyone! I have been obsessed with sunglasses for a very, very long time, so it was a natural fit for me to partner with Privé Revaux on my own collection. I spent a lot of time on the details of these pairs and I am so very proud of them!” says Petsch.

The Privé Revaux X Madelaine collection features five youthful and statement-making designs, all representative of Madelaine’s bold and cultured style; Street—retro round frames, Candy—small colorful lenses, Mister—oversized cateye, Rogue—modern aviator and Clique—classic square sunnies. Each pair is handcrafted with high-quality materials including anti-ski screws, lightweight TR-90 and polarized lenses; retailing for only $29.95 per pair. Additionally, the inside lining of Privé Revaux’s signature collapsible case will feature a pop of red for the capsule collection.

“Madelaine’s style pairs perfectly with the Privé Revaux brand ethos,” says David Schottenstein, CEO and Founder of Privé Revaux. “We are excited for her to bring her fashion-forward thinking to our brand with the Privé Revaux X Madelaine collection and share her designs with her passionate fanbase.”

The campaign shoot with Madelaine took place at a private estate with panoramic views overlooking the Los Angeles mountainscape; photographed by Rachel Felling, styled by Adena Rohatiner, with makeup by Elie Maaloud and hair by Michael Kanyon. The playful and lively atmosphere garnered eight vibrant looks, showcasing the five styles in Madelaine’s handpicked collection.

Privé Revaux X Madelaine will be available online at priverevaux.com, amazon.com and internationally at select retailers including Nordstrom, American Eagle, Express and Princess Cruises.

MACKENZIE ZIEGLER

Mackenzie Ziegler is literally a meteor shower in the macrocosm of entertainment. The 13-yearold was born to create and doesn’t appear to have an untalented bone in her anatomy. Ziegler was just 6-years-old when she made her debut on the small screen. For six seasons, she starred alongside her mother, Melissa, and older sister, Maddie, in Lifetime’s reality series Dance Moms. “When I was younger I had no clue what was going on to be honest; there was just a bunch of cameras following me around and I was just really confused,” she asserts regarding the early start of her career, “But as I got older I thought it was pretty cool that everyone wanted to know what I was doing on a daily basis or what I’m doing with my career now.” Since her departure from the show in 2016, she has been exploring her wide range of talents. The dance sensation has been diligently working to expand her already impressive resume to include professions such as singer, actress, model, fashion designer, and soonto-be author.

Teen Vogue Will Be Missed

by Victor Wardell

On Thurs., November 2, 2017 Condé Nast announced that the print component of Teen Vogue will be discontinued.

This brings up questions like why? And, could it have been saved?

Many speculate the cancellation could have resulted from how controversial the magazine has become. Many parents have yet to forgive when Condé Nast published, “A Guide To Anal Sex.”

Teen Vogue has featured some of the biggest teen stars including Justin BieberZendaya, One Direction, Kendall and Kylie JennerDemi Lovato, Rowan Blanchard and Yara Shahid.

Readers don’t fret because you can still catch the new editions online.

We live in a millennial world of technology and Teen Vogue realizes that Generation Z is no longer plastering their tearsheets on their bedroom walls.

Born in Northern California, Youth on Course helps fund rounds of golf for members to increase affordability and accessibility to the game. The organization is growing throughout America, with a presence in 17 states and nearly 30,000 kids ages 6-18 who can play at over 600 partner courses.

Support for Youth on Course drives the organization’s growth across America. The program has been recognized by The Golf Channel and Golf Digest as an essential bridge between youth instruction and consistent play throughout adulthood. NBA MVP Steph Curry is a vocal ambassador of the program.
