Luxury American eclectic lifestyle brand, Robert Graham, is thrilled to announce the launch of a Star Wars inspiredcapsule, in collaboration with Lucasfilm. The collection, in anticipation of the final installment in the Skywalker saga, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, will be available to the public for purchase starting November 16, 2019. Early access for VIP Collectors kicks off in select stores on November 14.

Best known for their signature “wearable art” and embellished sport shirts, Robert Graham utilizes an iconic trademark style throughout the capsule collection, as seen in pieces like the Skywalker sport coat, the Lord Vader sport shirt, The Princess Leia Limited Edition and the Darth Vader Lightsaber T-shirt. The capsule will feature three men’s button downs ($248-$348), two men’s sports coats ($1298), three men’s T-shirts ($128), two women’s shirts ($248-$398), one women’s T-shirt ($128), one women’s reversible bomber ($498) and five pocket squares/silk scarves ($68-$248). The Star Wars x Robert Graham capsule collection will be sold both in store and online at Robert Graham, as well as at Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Saks, Nordstrom and DXL, and select participating specialty retailers.  

“We are excited to launch the collection in synch with the release of the much-anticipated movie,” notes Robert Graham president, Andrew Berg.  “The goal was to join forces with Star Wars and share the Robert Graham DNA with new brand fans.”

In celebration of the capsule launch, Robert Graham will host an exclusive in-store event (featuring stormtroopers) for select media, influencers and consumers at the Robert Graham Venice Beach store (1326 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice Beach, CA 90291) on Saturday, November 16th. LATAM Airlines Reveals Star Wars-inspired Aircraft

·       LATAM Airlines Group today unveiled the first image of its Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge-inspired aircraft.

·       The livery of the ‘Stormtrooper Plane’, a Boeing 777 with capacity for 410 passengers, was designed by Disney’s creative team in conjunction with Lucasfilm, and was painted by using stencils.

·       The aircraft is expected to arrive in São Paulo/Guarulhos and operate commercial flights at the end of October. 

LATAM Airlines Group today unveiled the first image of its Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge-inspired aircraft, following the recent opening of the new land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

LATAM Airlines Group will enable customers and fans to travel on an aircraft inspired by the stormtroopers of the First Order from the airline group’s São Paulo/Guarulhos hub to Orlando, where Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is based, as well as other international destinations including Miami and European cities such as Madrid, Frankfurt and Paris.

Built for the Lenovo Mirage Solo with Daydream, Starlight Xperience features a state-of-the-art and hospital-ready headset that comes preloaded with age-appropriate and dynamic content geared toward entertainment and distraction for hospitalized kids, which has been specifically modified to meet strict infection safety protocols for use in hospital settings. Pre-loaded content includes educational field trips to exotic locations through Google Expeditions and Street View, fun interactive stories like Star Wars: Droid Repair Bay by ILMxLAB, and Lola and the Giant, popular apps such as Ocean Rift and Hello Mars, and meditation exercises and therapeutic games such as Relax VR, which allows the patient to escape into beautiful environments.

Starlight Xperience was developed in part through a series of grants provided by Starlight to the CHARIOT program (short for Childhood Anxiety Reduction through Innovation and Technology) at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. CHARIOT implements new technologies in the hospital that are nontraditional yet familiar to children to engage and distract them during stressful or painful procedures, keeping clinical usage in mind and improving upon the typical hospital experience. This past summer, Starlight Xperience was soft launched and tested at five children’s hospitals: Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, Children’s Hospital Colorado, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, Minn., and Texas Children’s Hospital.

“At Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, virtual reality has been a fantastic addition for our patients,” said Chantel Barney, Ph.D., a clinical scientist who leads Gillette’s VR program. “In some instances, we’ve been able to curb the anxiety and fears our kids typically experience during procedures such as blood draws, transfusions, wound cleanings, casting and more. It’s a wonderful distraction for kids and parents alike.”

“We’re proud to support Starlight Xperience and look forward to bringing smiles to the faces of hospitalized children through this educational and inspirational program,” said Andrew Peykoff II, President and CEO, Niagara Bottling. “This technology makes learning fun and we’re excited to expand the program to even more children.”

Thanks to the grants provided by The Walt Disney Company and Niagara Cares, in addition to the generosity of charitable donations from individuals, Starlight is on track to deliver up to 1,000 Starlight Xperience kits to its network of hospital partners by the end of 2018, with a goal of doubling that by the end of 2019. A donation to Starlight will entertain, educate and inspire hospitalized kids across the US through stimulating immersive experiences that transport children from the hospital to any place in the world – or beyond – through the magic of virtual reality.

This December, even more secrets will be revealed when Marvel releases STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI – STORMS OF CRAIT #1. Written by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker (Star Wars: Join The Resistance) with art by Mike Mayhew (Star Wars, The Star Wars), the new mini-series gives fans a look behind the curtain at one very special planet in the galaxy: the mineral planet Crait.
 
In Star Wars: The Last Jedi, it becomes a battleground between the Resistance and the First Order, but that wasn’t the first time Crait became a place where heroes and villains clashed in their fight for the galaxy. Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa once took up arms on Crait and led the rebellion as they as they searched for a new home – and a new base for the Rebel Alliance. Tying in to the eagerly anticipated December film, STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI – STORMS OF CRAIT promises to be a new and exciting adventure for all Star Wars fans – and a story that will change the galaxy as we know it.

White, “Tying the new sequel series in more tightly with the original trilogy era, and helping make the Galaxy Far Away a little more fleshed out.
