“There is a much stronger need for food for local families over the holidays and Westside Food Bank has been overwhelmed by the support of the SANTA Monica Pub Crawl for the past eight years,” says Genevieve Riutort, Chief Development Officer for the Westside Food Bank. “The event has helped to raise awareness about the issue of hunger in our community while also giving people the opportunity to make a difference while having a great time. In the past eight years, the Pub Crawl has made it possible for Westside Food Bank to distribute more than a quarter million pounds of food for local families in need.”

SANTA Monica Pub Crawl participants are encouraged to dress in Santa/holiday attire so the streets of Santa Monica are filled with merry cheer. There are santa hats for sale at each of the four starting/check-in locations. An Instagram costume contest will award the crawlers with the most impressive holiday gear with special prizes. Teams can sign up to participate in the Santa Scavenger Challenge to win big prizes such as gift certificates to the bars and restaurants.

In order to participate, crawlers must purchase a wristband, choose a route (Wilshire, Main Street, Promenade or Ocean Ave), download the official map and mobile app and start at their assigned starting location. The crawl includes special offerings all night, such as $5 Stella Artois, $5 well drinks, $7 Redemption Rye holiday cocktails and $3 draft beers.  All routes will collide at the Santa’s Secret Hideaway After Party at 1212 Santa Monica with DJs, photo booth and more holiday festivities.

The SANTA Monica Pub Crawl is a community event and encourages responsible drinking. Freebird Rides will offer a $10 UBER credit for all crawlers who download and use the app to get to any of the locations on the crawl.
