During a formal ceremony held today, Stuffed Puffs, the chocolate-filled marshmallow that took the summer S’mores season by storm, becomes the Lehigh Valley’s sweetest new employer. Stuffed Puffs Founder and CEO Mike Tierney, Richard Thompson, Managing Partner of Factory LLC, DJ Marshmello and his manager Moe Shalizi joined by Jim Petrucci, Founder and President of J.G Petrucci Co., Inc., Don Cunningham, CEO of Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp, and Dennis M. Davin, Pennsylvania Secretary of Community and Economic Development, cut the 30’ ribbon on a the new 150,000 square foot plant in Bethlehem, PA.

“Stuffed Puffs will be available at retailers across the U.S. in the next year.  The Lehigh Valley offers great incentives for companies to build here,” said Tierney.  “With my partners, Richard Thompson and Marshmello, our plan is to have this new plant up and running quickly to meet demand. Meanwhile, Stuffed Puffs’ existing plant in Wisconsin is running 24/7 to satisfy America’s new-found craving for S’mores Indoors™.”

Stuffed Puffs received a funding proposal from the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). The project was coordinated by the Governor’s Action Team, an experienced group of economic development professionals who work with businesses that are considering locating or expanding in Pennsylvania.

“Food processing is one of Pennsylvania’s most robust and vibrant industries, supporting thousands of jobs and generating more than $5 billion in sales annually,” said Dennis M. Davin, Pennsylvania Secretary of Community and Economic Development. “It is only fitting that Stuffed Puffs, a new, innovative food company, would make the Lehigh Valley in our commonwealth its new home, and we are proud to have helped.”

The building, located at 3900 Burgess Place in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania was formerly home to Guardian Life Insurance. J.G. Petrucci, began demolition and construction at the site in Q1 2019.  “We are very excited to welcome Stuffed Puffs to Lehigh Valley Flex Center,” said Petrucci. “Stuffed Puffs is a dynamic innovator in the food industry and perfect fit for this project.”

The Stuffed Puffs brand is part of Factory LLC located in the dynamic southside of Bethlehem, Pa. “At Factory LLC we seek innovation and we know Stuffed Puffs is a big winner and the new plant will support our continued growth, because we can’t make it fast enough.” said Richard Thompson, Managing Partner at Factory LLC. “We are looking for the top100 employees to join our Stuffed Puffs team.”

How to handle Russia? This question has become ever more prominent as the Euro-Atlantic community’s relations with Russia languish in deep in systemic crisis, with dialogue suspended, reciprocal sanctions in place and proxy wars raging. The wars in Ukraine and Syria, accusations of Russian interference in domestic politics and the attempted assassination of the Skripals on UK soil have all contributed to soaring tension in the relationship.

Yet faced with this array of serious challenges, Euro-Atlantic thinking about Russia remains stuck in twentieth-century rhetoric, trapped by misleading abstract labels and unsure whether to engage Moscow in dialogue or enhance deterrence and collective defence. Instead of thinking in these terms, leading Russia expert Andrew Monaghan argues that we must devise a new grand strategy for dealing with the Russians. Examining the ongoing Euro-Atlantic debate over Russia and framing Moscow’s own position towards the West, he sets out the foundations of a forward-looking strategy; one that can accommodate the many complex challenges presented by this new era of competition between Russia, Europe and the United States.

Philadelphia Fine Art Fair Announces Exhibitors for Inaugural Edition

Philadelphia Fine Art Fair (PFAF) announces the exhibitors for its inaugural, 2019 edition presenting works by significant modern and contemporary artists. Taking place on April 4-7, 2019 at The 23rd Street City Troop Armory (22 S 23rd St, Philadelphia), PFAF brings 34 international galleries, featuring 300 established artists, to the City of Brotherly Love.

NIGOS Release MV for Narcos

Straight off the heels of winning the BET Award as Best Group, superstar multi-platinum hip-hop trio Migos today release the video for their chart-topping song Narcos. This marks Quavo’s directorial debut, with co-direction by Joseph Desrosiers.

“Murmurations”

Noonday Dream was written and produced by Howard, with production contributions from regular collaborator and band-mate Mickey Smith. The album was recorded over the course of two years in various studios throughout Europe, including the legendary Sawmills Studio as well as locations in southwest France. The new recording continues to highlight Howard’s sonic evolution with unpredictable and textured arrangements and rich, emotive songwriting.

Howard’s debut album Every Kingdom was released in October 2011. Adding nearly 30 new dates, the tour takes Bay across North America and Europe making stops at New York’s Beacon Theater on September 18th and Los Angeles’The Greek Theatreon October 7th. Aspiring to push his own musical boundaries with Electric Light Bay noted: “If I had to describe my first album visually it would probably be a flame – while this new album is about a real sonic and artistic evolution for me. Composed in East London’s Baltic Studios, Bay co-wrote and co-produced Electric Light with longtime friend and collaborator Jon Green and brought onboard Paul Epworth [Adele, Florence and The Machine] to add final production elements to the record. Released on February 8th, single “Wild Love” has already reached 10 million Spotify streams and counting in addition to racking up nearly 3 million views from its official music video co-starring Natalia Dyer of Stranger Things. Beth Ditto

Tonight, Beth Ditto returns to her home state of Arkansas to kick off a North American tour in support of Fake Sugar (Virgin Records), her solo debut album. After this eveningߣs show at Revolution Music Room in Little Rock, sheߣll head to Nashville, TN for a performance at the Mercy Lounge tomorrow, March 8. The run includes shows at New Yorkߣs Brooklyn Steel (March 14), The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, CA (March 23) and Wonder Ballroom in Portland, OR (March 27).

Ditto will perform on NBC Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday, March 13. NPR has hailed her as the force-of-nature performer best known for fronting the pop-punk group Gossip. In a four-star live review, The Guardian said, Ditto alternates between infectiously warm, wisecracking comic and soul-baring torch singer.
