TEYANA PERFORMS TONIGHT AT ART BASEL MIAMI

LISTEN TO “WE GOT LOVE

Teyana Taylor – multi-hyphenate R&B superstar singer, songwriter, producer, director, dancer/choreographer, actor, fitness guru, model, mother, Harlem native – announces the release of “We Got Love,” her brand new single available today via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recordings. In celebration of the new single release, Teyana will be headlining her own Art Basel Miami concert series in partnership with Def Jam and Courvoisier.

Produced by Kanye West for Teyana, the track was originally slated for Teyana’s K.T.S.E. album, but was held back because of clearance issues. “I’ve always felt this was such a special record and wanted it to have the right moment,” said Teyana.”We Got Love,” is the newest advance track from the upcoming project THE ALBUM, slated to drop early 2020 and comes on the heels of Teyana’s consecutive R&B smashes “How You Want It? (HYWI?)” featuring King Combs which entered into the Top 20 on R&B charts in August and “Morning” featuring Kehlani – her biggest video release to date, amassing over 11 million views in less than a month and entering into the Top 10 on R&B Charts in November. Each video was self-directed by Teyana – aka ‘Spike Tee.’

THE ALBUM, Teyana’s official third studio album, is the long-awaited follow-up to K.T.S.E., one of the five G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam albums produced by Kanye West during his 2018 sojourn in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  Released in June 2018, K.T.S.E. (acronym for Keep That Same Energy) set off an 18-month chain reaction for Teyana, starting with its summertime Top 10 R&B smash “Gonna Love Me.”  Teyana performed “Gonna Love Me” (in a medley with “Rose In Harlem,” another K.T.S.E. track) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Hip-hop audiences embraced the “Gonna Love Me” remix featuring Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface KillahMethod Man and Raekwon, whose video was also directed by Teyana.

K.T.S.E. spun off a hot new single and video for Teyana in early 2019, the explicit “WTP (Work This P***y).”  The video was nominated for “Best Dance Performance” at the recent 32nd annual BET Soul Train Awards. The third single from K.T.S.E. was the evocative “Issues/Hold On.” After slaying the audience with the song live on Ellen in April 2019, Teyana was surprised on-air when Ellen presented her with the RIAA gold award plaque for “Gonna Love Me,” bringing it all full circle.

RICH THE KID -“THAT’S TUFF” FEAT. QUAVO

Multiplatinum rapper Rich The Kid releases his new single “That’s Tuff” feat. Quavo today. This track marks the rapper’s first release with Republic Records.

Listen to “That’s Tuff” feat. Quavo: HERE

Rich The Kid and Migos star Quavo lock into hard-hitting, hilarious and hypnotic bars over a melodically Atlanta trap sound, serving as a much-needed reunion between the two.

Rich The Kid is returning with his new release with his new partner label Republic Records and is looking toward 2020 with his greatest music yet. In 2017 Rich The Kid delivered his intoxicating “New Freezer” with Kendrick Lamar. The RIAA double Platinum track was followed by the triple Platinum colossal single “Plug Walk” in 2018. At this point, Rich The Kid had merely hit his stride after years of grinding, making records and breaking other acts like the world famous Migos and Famous Dex. Rich’s fame was growing as both a star rapper and label entrepreneur.  The World Is Yours debuted in 2018, fueled by the aforementioned “New Freezer” and “Plug Walk.” Titled as a clear nod to Nas, the project showcased how Rich The Kid navigated seamlessly through crafting bangers that not only could live in a club, but also through car radios and AirPods. He followed with The World Is Yours 2 and is now ready to bring the world his new music.

Nicole Millar – “Favours”

NICOLE MILLAR UNVEILS NEW SINGLE “FAVOURS”

WATCH HERE

LISTEN HERE

Slick, sultry and laden with sass, “Favours” is the much-anticipated follow up to Nicole Millar’s 2018 debut album Excuse Me, which spawned the viral hit “Blindfolded” (8 million+ combined streams) and ARIA Gold-accredited single “Tremble” (11 million+ combined streams). Flanked by warped synths and Millar’s signature croons, “Favours” is a slice of unapologetic pop savagery and marks the debut of a bold new era.

Both cheeky yet deeply personal, the song addresses a darker period of Millar’s life where she encountered both loss and heartbreak.

“I had a bit of a rough year with a lot of changes,” she reveals. “‘Favours’ is a song about how I’ve got no praise, or money left for this person.”

It was only natural to navigate towards those she trusted, recruiting past collaborators Muki and Kilter to bring her message to life.

“[Muki and I] really hit it off and couldn’t stop talking about everything that had been going on in our lives. It just became clear to write a song about this person that had made my life dull… but have a cheeky bounce to it.”

The song also sees Millar embrace a darker, more mature edge which fans have yet to be privy.

“I’ve been calling my music smooth, dark chocolate with hints of mint,” she laughs.

‘Favours’ will be the first of a series of new material from Nicole Millar; it’s grittier, more candid and empowered than ever. In her own words: “Don’t let someone walk all over you and manipulate you. Do exactly what your gut says, and own it.”

Joe Coss × Liquid Phase – “Bright Colors”

From 2005 to 2013, Joe Coss – singer/songwriter/guitarist for the Long Island based band Liquid Phase spent his days traveling from Long Island to downtown New York City to work as the Lead Mechanical Engineer on the new World Trade Center. His journey is chronicled in the band’s song “Bright Colors”, now available as a remastered single on Spotify and all the major services.

LISTEN TO BRIGHT COLORS ON SPOTIFY HERE:

“Bright Colors” is an infectiously upbeat song which brings to light Coss’s love for both the city whose most triumphant landmark he’s had the privilege of erecting to the oceanside oasis that is Montauk, NY. This comes to light in the songs lyrics “See a row of purple roses live on the oceanfront // And the cliffs of Earth eroding slower than we have fun // When I climbed up the iron ladder the sky was the bluest one // Looking out as our friends were leaving just as the keg was done” and coming full-circle with “Look West as the sun sets, castle stands in our way // Out East there’s an orange moonrise, radar’s aimed our way”.

Polish_20191203_170134580

The song – coupled with Coss’s diverse background (from his days as a Berklee College of Music student to his work in theoretical physics) and his relationship with legendary Singer/Songwriter Paul Simon and wife Edie Brickell – have made for an incredibly unique blend of infectious rock and pop. The band was invited by Brickell to rehearse in Simon’s home studio in Montauk while Joe also worked on Guitar Lead’s and Charts with Edie before receiving a prized gift – Edie’s custom Orange Electric Tom Anderson Guitar.

Liquid Phase, the NYC Rock Band from Montauk, is a five piece rock outfit featuring Coss on Vocals and Guitar, Jamie Grubb on Keyboards, Dan Zellan on Guitar and Vocals, Johnny Molinari on Bass, and Steve Collins on Drums. The band brought its diverse blend of colorful laid-back surf and skate beach music as well as its hard hitting electric rock and alternative sound to stages across the U.S., opening for guitar legend Slash of Guns n’ Roses and famed Southern Rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Now, as Joe and the band continues to write and perform throughout the NY area and all over Long Island – they’ll bring their unique sound to fans new and old!

MY B**CH [IS] HOME!” Yung Miami tweeted, announcing JT’s freedom. And on her first day out, City Girls released the record “First Day Out,” with JT citing “Stop with all the rumors, and tell your nigga I’m home / And it’s on / Period.” JT and Young Miami are uncensored, unapologetic, sharing a commitment to their hood roots and a bold insistence that the culture they come from shouldn’t stop them from getting a piece of the cash pie. RJ WORD – Báilame

Chart-topping American pop-artist RJ Word and renowned Latin DJ Juan Magan have teamed up to create their latest electro-pop single “Báilame.” The single is laced with the live instrumentals of a sultry Spanish guitar and enriched with lively trumpets. The lyrics convey the seduction of getting carried away by the music and dancing the night away. As is RJ’s signature style, he takes an out of the box funk-infused approach to pop music, while Juan spices the track up with a Latin flare mixed into his electric beats.

The single was recorded and produced by RJ Word, Juan Magan, Austin Music, Fingazz and Karel Psota. The recordings took place across Los Angeles, Miami and Barcelona – picking up flavors of each of the cities it traveled through.

RJ and Juan recently collaborated on a few other electro-pop singles, including the 2018 summer Latin-trap anthem “Echa Pa’ Aca” with Pitbull and Rich The Kid. Upon release, the track soared across Spotify ‘New Music Friday’ playlists worldwide and the Apple Music charts. While the accompanying animated music video has since garnered over 21-million views on YouTube alone.

The two artists are sure to get fans up on their feet and moving with them on “Báilame” between their lustful multi-lingual lyrics, hip-swaying beat, and the smoothly pieced together contrast of their silky and raspy vocals.
