Today, Splash House announced the lineup for its June 7-9th edition, welcoming summer with an impressive array of stars and leading up-and-comers alike to its iconic Palm Springs venues: The Renaissance, Riviera, Saguaro Hotels, and the unrivaled after hours setting of the Palm Springs Air Museum.
Splash House has built its legacy on bringing the future trends of dance music to Southern California’s party elite within Palm Springs’ idyllic luxury resorts. The June event will feature a DJ set from Grammy-winning French duo Justice, revered house veteran Armand Van Helden, the melodic sounds of Jai Wolf, and turntablist extraordinaire A-Trak. Top-tier billing continues with bass-house champ AC Slater, global club icon Pete Tong, and trap-bass mastermind Troyboi.
Once the sun sets, fans can find themselves dancing next to a unique display of vintage museum aircrafts at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Soundtracking June’s after hours will be Splash House sophomores Dusky, inventive vocal house maverick Kidnap, and DIRTYBIRD staple Shiba San.
The Splash House experience is defined by forward-thinking music programming, unmatchable poolside settings, and a uniquely convenient party format. Attendees can dance all day just steps away from their hotel, dip in and out of a multitude of pools, catch some hi-jinks from a hotel balcony, or cruise between venues in the now legendary shuttles. It all combines to create a unique sense of camaraderie gathered around the shared feeling of stumbling upon the ultimate slice of paradise.

As an American pop-artist and Latin sensation, RJ Word is quickly rising to the top of full-fledged international stardom. Growing up in the heart of the entertainment industry, Los Angeles, RJ took inspiration from local legends Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Max Martin and Quincy Jones. By the age of five, RJ developed a passion for singing/songwriting, and at just 10 years old he kicked off his music career performing on stage in musical theater – flourishing under the spotlight. Now, at 21 years old and with a handful of hit original singles, RJ has garnered 1M+ Instagram followers and 17.8M+ YouTube views. Most recently, RJ was featured alongside Pitbull and Rich The Kid on Juan Magan’s new Latin-pop single “Echa Pa’ Acá” (August 2018), with an accompanying animated music video. The video amassed over 14M views on YouTube alone in the first two weeks following its release.
RJ was discovered by renowned voice coach Roger Love (The Beach Boys, Eminem) in the 6th grade, and has since honed his craft over a decade as a singer, songwriter and producer. In 2016, RJ’s single “Here Today” premiered on NBC Universo, which was followed by the release of “I’m Gone” that clocked 1M+ YouTube views in the first week alone. Last year, RJ released his hit single “Hold Tight”, which topped charts in over 14 countries and has since reached 3M+ YouTube views. RJ’s worldwide fanbase has led him to perform around the globe, including at Navi Fest 2016 at Arena Monterrey, Mexico, and at the EXA Festival in Puebla, Mexico, House of Exile 2017 in NYC.
Most recently, RJ released his latest original single “What You Need” with an accompanying music video (April 2018). The funk-inspired dance anthem is brought to life by live horns, and carried by RJ’s lyrics and falsetto-laced melodies that truly make it a smash hit. The music video, which has since garnered 7M+ views on YouTube alone, highlights the brass backing while showing that RJ’s moves are nearly as smooth as his silky vocals. With this single, and many more to come from the young recording artist, RJ continues to break through the mold of monotonous tracks that dominate radio airplay today and shape the future of music.

The EP follows up Mondo Cozmo’s critically acclaimed 2017 full-length debut, Plastic Soul—which housed the hits “Shine,” “Hold On To Me,” and “Automatic.” It saw him perform across the country to sold out shows and even made his television debut onJimmy Kimmel Live!.
The four-track EP shows an elevated sound for Mondo Cozmo. “Tonight Tonight”(produced by John Hill (Portugal The Man), kicks off with rustling guitar that pick up into an infectious percussion. Soon, his voice takes hold, spinning a cinematic scene about “city boy blues” and “suicide queens” before the festival-ready chant, “Tonight, tonight, tonight.” Elsewhere on the EP, “Your Motherfucker” sounds like the bastard child of LCD Soundsystem and Jeff Buckley, marrying glitchy dancefloor beats and evocative lyricism. That’s just the half of it though. Check out the full tracklisting below!
Your Motherfucker EP comes right in the middle of his tour with Vance Joy. The sold-out dates have run across the country and continue into mid-July- see full tour dates atwww.mondocozmo.com/tour
With this new music and a ton of touring, Mondo Cozmo is back motherfuckers…
Filmed in Kingston, Jamaica, the new video was directed by Gil Green (Nicki Minaj, Drake, John Legend) and celebrates the duo’s mutual love of Jamaica – its music, the spirit of its people and the vibrancy of its culture.

Roland Announces 4XCAMERA App for iOS
|Easily create split screen music video performances on iPhone or iPad|
|Roland (LVCC Central Hall, Booth# 17544) announces 4XCAMERA, a unique new video capture app for iOS devices. 4XCAMERA makes it easy for musicians to create music videos with up to four performances split on the screen. Aspect ratios of 1:1 and 16:9 are supported, and 10 split-screen patterns are available for each. The app is a free download and allows users to capture up to two performances. Full functionality is available via an in-app purchase of $3.99.
With 4XCAMERA and an iPhone or iPad, it’s quick and simple for one person to create split screen performance videos of original music, cover songs, or karaoke tracks. And by sharing 4XCAMERA video projects through cloud-based storage, multiple musicians can use the app to contribute performances from anywhere in the world.
The user starts by capturing one video performance to the 4XCAMERA app. Using this video as a guide, they can capture three more performances, adding new parts on each pass. Sound can be recorded via the device’s built-in mic or through a connected audio capture device.
All videos for a song are stored within the app’s library. To complete a split screen music video, the user applies a split screen pattern, adjusts volumes for each video, and then renders a final file for sharing on YouTube and other social media sites.
