GRAMMY® Award-winning rapper COMMON will release his new album Let Love on August 30, 2019, his debut for Loma Vista Recordings.
Pre-order it HERE.
In tandem with this announcement, he shared his latest single and music video entitled “Hercules” [feat. Swizz Beatz]. On the track, he serves up his sharp signature wordplay between soulful backing vocals from Swizz Beatz. Meanwhile, the music video directed by Carrick [Weezer] sees Common thwart a convenience store robbery caught on surveillance camera—in between rapping into his iPhone. Vince Staples makes a cameo as the cashier.
Watch the action unfold HERE.
“Hercules” follows on the heels of the recent single “HER Love” featuring Daniel Caesar, special guest Dwele, and an unreleased beat from J Dilla. Not only did the song amass over 1 million cumulative streams and 339K views on the Savanah Leaf-directed music video within a week, but it also received widespread critical acclaim. VIBE called the song “a State of the Rap Union as he addresses the rise and expansion of hip-hop throughout the past 25 years.” Rolling Stone added that it was “Common’s homage to hip-hop”, and OkayPlayer professed that it’s “his most impactful body of work yet.”
Download “Hercules” HERE.
About the album, he shared, “This album is inspired by the book, “Let Love Have The Last Word” which gave me a path to write about things I had never written about before. It forced me to go deeper and because I opened up about so many things in the book, I was charged to go to raw, personal and spiritual places in the music. Production-wise, I knew that the music had to have depth, soul and dimension to it. I wanted the musicianship and the spirit of what live music brings, but it also had to have something raw and basement about it. When my team said, “You should do some music revolving around the book,” I just took that energy and went running into my artistry without focusing on anything else. No movies, no commercials, no parties (well, I don’t do that too much anyway) and I just worked on music. So this album is the culmination of this journey, this passion and this Divine Love that I have for one of GOD’s greatest gifts – MUSIC.”
COMMON will kick off his Let Love Tour, which starts in Denver, Colorado at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom tonight, and continues through marquee venues in the US and Canada before touring Europe for the first time since 2014. Special guests include Nicole Bus, July 11 –July 26, and Maimouna Youssef aka Mumu Fresh, August 7 – August 29. Each pair of tickets on the second leg of tour dates will come with new music—details to be emailed to ticket holders.

Be on the lookout for more soon!

FLETCHER Headlines the Bud Light Dive Bar Tour Presented by GLAAD
FLETCHER performed an intimate show in San Francisco at Cafe du Nord as a part of the 2019 Bud Light Dive Bar Tour last night. This show, presented by GLAAD, was the third stop of the tour following Brett Eldredge and Judah & The Lion’s shows in St. Louis and Denver respectively.
San Francisco’s Dive Bar Tour stop highlighted Bud Light’s partnership with GLAAD for the 20th consecutive year, with their limited-edition Pride bottles that were on full display and decor to match the celebration. FLETCHER had the crowd singing along to her chart-topping song “Undrunk” as well as previewing new songs from her upcoming album. Fans especially loved when she gave a special shout out to Post Malone, performing “Better Now”, and her tribute to the LGBTQ+ community and Bud Light GLAAD partners with her performance of Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors.”
About the show FLETCHER shared, “This show feels like such a full circle and natural moment for me. My first show was in a dive bar near my hometown in Jersey. To go back to a dive bar with Bud Light and connect with my fans in an intimate setting is something I could not have been more excited to do.”
Following Bud Light’s stop in San Francisco, the tour will travel to New York in August and Miami in November with two artists to be announced later this year.
NEW ALBUM SENSATIONAL COMING MAY 31
On his tour, the rapper will perform songs off his upcoming new album Sensational as well as previously released music. Sensational will feature 13 tracks including his previously released song “Magic” and features from Juicy J, Mia Gladstone, Pouya, Ramirez, TrippyThaKid, bbno$, Lil Mayo and Lil Baby. Sensationalfollows up the viral success of his Snow Cougar EP, which features a bevy of bangers including “Mr. Clean” and “1 Thot 2 Thot Red Thot Blue Thot,” which are both certified gold by the RIAA. Merch is available nowhere.
Inspired by everyone from OutKast, Nate Dogg, Curren$y, and Action Bronson to Patrice Rushen and The Blackbyrds, Yung Gravy ditched class took to SoundCloud to begin releasing music in 2016. The first song he uploaded, “Karen”, quickly garnished new fans and stirred a palpable buzz online. His first EP, Mr. Clean, went viral on the strength of “Continental Breakfast”—which cracked the 1-million mark on Soundcloud. Sandwiching a sample of The Chordettes’ “Mr. Sandman” between raunchy and raw rhymes, the title track “Mr. Clean” soundtracked countless fan videos and ignited 9.6 million Soundcloud plays in under a year. Throughout 2017, he prolifically unleashed a string of nonstop music, including Thanksgiving’s Eve, Yung Gravity EP, and Baby Gravy EP. OLIVIA O’BRIEN surpasses 1.5 billion global streams & releases new track “Just a Boy” from highly anticipated debut album out next Friday, April 26
“JUST A BOY” FEATURED ON COSMOPOLITAN’S INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT HERE
“deep, soulful vocals” – Billboard
“her truest test of artistry is in her music, which she writes herself.” – V Magazine
“she’s proving to be a name on the rise” – Complex
Olivia O’Brien could go on and on rattling off “lame excuses from guys” that you screenshot and forward to your friends for commiseration, sympathy, a laugh, or often response advice…
You don’t need to ask what to say anymore though because the 19-year-old critically acclaimed Los Angeles based singer and songwriter presents the answers on her 2019 full-length debut due this spring via Island Records. “I wrote this in a really dark place” she says, “and I hope I can help other people who may be in that same spot. My idea was for you to listen to the album when you’re feeling sad and by the end, you’ll feel better without even realizing it.
Their actions also had her asking if any of those relationships were even real. On the flip side, you can believe her words, and that’s why she made a major dent in pop music. The purple-haired songstress put up legit numbers, racking up more than a billion streams by 2019. She arrived as the rare talent who can share a song with everyone from G-Eazy and Drew Love of THEY. to gnash and received early support from the likes of Paper, The Coveteur, NYLON, V Magazine, and Idolator.
Now, Olivia takes everything back by way of her first record. “Obsessed with guitar,” she nodded to influences as diverse as Tame Impala, Kid Cudi, Amy Winehouse, and Fleetwood Mac. The introductory single “Love Myself” serves as the album’s finale, but it also earmarks the beginning. Hinging on dreamy clean guitar, she turns her voice inward as she confesses in a booming chorus, “I don’t need to know who I am yet. I don’t need to have a solid plan yet. I don’t need to be the same as everyone else. I just need to motherfucking love myself.”
“I should love myself, but I don’t,” she goes on. “I should treat myself better, but I don’t. It doesn’t have the same unattainable note that a lot of happier, confident songs have. So much other shit is like, ‘I already love myself. I’m confident. I’m great’. This is more attainable. It starts with being easier on yourself. So many kids are depressed. I wanted to end on a high note.

Harry Hudson unveiled the video for his latest single “Just Slide” feat. Jaden Smith —watch and share HERE. “Just Slide” was produced by notable producers Mike Dean [Kanye West, JAY-Z, Travis Scott, 2Pac], Jess Jackson [Tyga, Jason Derulo, Chris Brown] and John Ho [Danity Kane, Kimbra]. The video was filmed in Biloxi, MS, Toronto, ON, Salt Lake City, UT and Calabasas, CA while Harry was on his headlining Can Cowboys Cry Tour last fall.
Of the video, Harry says, “It’s a continuation of the Can Cowboys Cry saga with an unexpected and surreal twist. The story will continue in the next chapter of the journey and my next project.”
“Just Slide” sets the stage for new music from Harry Hudson in 2019.
25-year-old “Folk Pop” artist Harry Hudson was born in New Jersey but moved to the west coast at a young age. The singer released his first song, “World Is Gone,” online in 2013. However, during June of that year, Hudson was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and set his career aside to undergo treatment. After eight months of chemotherapy, he overcame the illness in January 2014. Hudson spent the subsequent year rediscovering his inspirations and got to work writing his debut release. Last year, Hudson released Yesterday’s Tomorrow Night, which features his breakout singles, “Yellow Lights” and “Cry For Love,” and blends Hudson’s signature pop Americana sound with folk and rock influences. In support of Yesterday’s Tomorrow Night, Hudson debuted his 16 minute short film, Can Cowboys Cry, featuring his friend and fellow MSFTS member Jaden Smith, as well as his songs “Yellow Lights,” “Cry For Love,” “Gone” and “No Good.” Last fall, Harry embarked on his first ever headlining tour, selling out shows across North America.
Today, Catfish and The Bottlemen share a brand new song “Fluctuate.”
The second new track from their upcoming album The Balance [out April 26 on Capitol Records], “Fluctuate” aired for the very first time today on long-time supporter Zane Lowe’s World Record on Apple Music’s Beats 1 and is now available as an instant download for fans who pre-order the album.
Before its official release, Catfish and the Bottlemen performed “Fluctuate” live throughout summer 2018 as a preview of new music to come, and the song quickly became a fan-favorite. Audiences can expect to hear more new tracks from The Balance during the band’s upcoming U.S. headline tour which kicks off March 12. Less than an hour after going on sale, their show at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, NY on April 3 sold out. Tickets for the remaining shows are available HERE, and full routing can be found below.
“When I’m writing a new song, the audience is all I really see. I get a vision of them in my head before I properly hear the melody or anything like that,” explains front man Van McCann. “If we put three or four of these songs in the set, it’s going to be so strong. This run of shows we have coming up is just perfect timing, getting the chance to play new songs that go hand in hand with a wild night out.”
“Fluctuate” follows the band’s January single release: “Longshot,” which has amassed over 12.8 million global streams and is rapidly climbing Alternative radio charts. The song also scored Catfish and the Bottlemen their highest UK singles chart placing to date. Together with a string of sold-out UK arena dates, the wild reception to their first new music since 2016’s gold-certified The Ride brings renewed attention to the phenomena of the band’s unassailable ascent in the company of a youthful, ever-growing family of fans.
In the breaks between their electrifying outdoor and festival shows, McCann (vocals, guitars), Johnny Bond (guitars), Robert “Bob” Hall (drums), and Benji Blakeway (bass) recorded The Balance over a 12-month period in the company of Irish producer, Jacknife Lee. It was recorded in two, secluded studios; Grouse Lodge, in Moate, Republic of Ireland, and The Chapel in the countryside of East Lincolnshire. The album was mixed by Craig Silvey.

After skyrocketing to popularity in France where he composed mixed and mastered 1 song per week for a year with his concept Rilèsundayz (+250m views /+220M streams), Rilès is back with a new single “Marijuana”, first track from his debut album and a stunning video featuring Snoop Dogg!
WATCH THE VIDEO HERE!
With “Marijuana”, Rilès is showing us a new side of himself, more soulful and organic. It’s the first joint venture between 3 of the biggest international labels (Republic/Polydor UK/Capitol FR) in many years. Rilès is the artist to follow in 2019. Debut album to be out before the summer.
‘MARIJUANA’ talks about my relationship with cannabis and its counter-productive effects that goes against my habits/mentality. The chorus “Baby, you’ve been on my mind” introduces marijuana in an attractive way, which aims to trick the listener who might think I’m talking about a woman at the very beginning of the song. However, the further you go through the song, the more you’ll notice that I’m talking about the drug and its similarities with woman/sex/lust which are also a drug in a certain way. The video starts with a random work night at my desk when suddenly I’m struck by the need of marijuana. The video depicts the tribulations I go through to try to resist the drug before succumbing to it and ending up laying down in my bed. ‘ – Rilès

Today, Ryan Adams shared “Fuck The Rain,” the lead single from Big Colors, which is the first of three albums he will release in 2019.
Ryan Adams said, “Check out this song it’s cool. Or don’t: We all might die. Trump is President. I love you, sincerely Ryan Adams.”
Adams will embark on a tour of the U.K. and Ireland on March 31 at Dublin’s historic Olympia Theatre. He has partnered with CID Entertainment to offer Fan Experiences that grant access to Ryan’s Pinball Lair pre-show experience and premium seating during the show. The pre-show experience will feature a variety of pinball games, a private bar, and a specially curated Ryan Adams gallery. Ryan Adams Fan Experiences are available with the ticket pre-sale, which launched earlier today. For additional information, visit https://www.cidentertainment.com/events/ryan-adams-tour/. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, January 25, at 9:00 AM. See below for itinerary.
Now available for pre-order HERE.
Big Colors will be released on April 19 via a partnership between Adams’ PAX-AM label and Blue Note Records. Fans who pre-order Big Colors in digital form will instantly receive “Fuck The Rain.” The album is also available for pre-order in limited edition vinyl and CD formats at Adams’ store and can be bundled with the exclusive 7” single, “Anybody Evil.”
Adams, who has been hailed as “one of the most elegant singer-songwriters of his generation, by The New York Times, co-produced the album with Beatriz Artola. John Mayer, Bob Mould, Benmont Tench, Don Was and The Section Quartet are featured on Big Colors, which was recorded at Electric Lady, Capitol Studios and Adams’ own PAX-AM.
Big Colors has won praise from those who received early copies of the album. Robert Costa, The Washington Post’s National Political Reporter, observed, :It reminds me of early 90s Petty, veering from soaring rockers to wistful songs that you could imagine Adams busking on a street in L.A.” Kristin Davis (Sex and the City) said, “Big Colors is a kaleidoscope of feelings and moods. My favorite song on continuous loop is (expletive) the Rain, love it so much.” Writer-director-actor Judd Apatow observed, “I am excited to binge Ryan Adams. Big Colors is the first album and it is indeed big and colorful, at times super fun and rocking, at other times more emotional and thoughtful but all with a sound that feels both modern and stripped from the jangles of my youth in the 80’s.”
Jillian Jacqueline, who has opened for Adams, pronounced it “full of beautiful and painful truths.” Ted Allen (“Chopped”) said it’s “GREAT, beginning to end. Plaintive & pretty one minute, ferocious and shredding the next and always hooky/jangly. Dreamy poetry, too.” Evan Rachel Wood (“Westworld,”The Ides of March) noted, “Once again @The RyanAdams deals up comforting melancholy, like a rainy day, and curve balls left and right that got my blood pumping.”
Big Colors follows Adams’ 2017 album, Prisoner, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums, Alternative Albums and Americana/Folk Albums charts.
