Complaint Against Google, Facebook, Twitter, Apple and Instagram

Just recently, Larry Klayman who is the founder of Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch and former U.S. Department of Justice prosecutor, announced filing a class action lawsuit which alleges social media giants such as Google/YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Apple, and Instagram conspired by entering into an explicit or tacit agreement, in parallel to each other, to restrain trade in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act. See Freedom Watch v. Google/YouTube et. al (Civil Action Number 18-cv-2030, U.S. District Court for District of Columbia).

Complaint alleges intent and effect of this agreement in restraint of trade is to quash and/or limit advocacy by conservatives and pro-Trump pubic interest groups, advocates, and others to further leftist anti-conservative agendas of these social media giants and help bring down the Trump presidency, nullifying the vote for the president by millions of citizens. These alleged illegal and anticompetitive actions are an integral part of the so-called “resistance” to remove President Trump and install a leftist government over the 50 states.

The class action complain can be found here.

The complaint is first of its kind in the wake of mourning proof that social media giants are illegally restricting free speech of conservatives, and promoting free speech from leftist sources such as CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and others.

“Our inert and compromised Attorney General Jeff Sessions is unwilling to take strong action through his Antitrust Division as he has become the darling of the left given his refusal to prosecute Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Clapper, James Comey, prominent Democrats and others who have allegedly committed crimes, while giving Robert Mueller carte blanche to proceed with his ‘witch hunt,” says Klayman.

“Freedom Watch seeks to right this discrimination against conservatives by social media giants. Our complaint asks for injunctive relief and over a billion dollars in damages, including punitive damages, pales in comparison to what the Commission of the European Union has already levied against such social media giants as Google for alleged ruthless tactics in stifling competition.”

DANISH TRIO SCARLET PLEASURE SHARE NEW SONG “GOOD TOGETHER” VIA VIRGIN RECORDS

Band Will Make U.S. Live Debut At School Night On October 23 And The Peppermint Club On October 25 In Los Angeles

Scarlet Pleasure are back with the new single “Good Together“- yet another soul warming post card from the Danish trio, who in 2017 delivered two major Danish hits, wrapped in their own unique sound and strong lyrics about escapism, paranoia, karaoke, and Vespas. “Good Together” is available for streaming and purchase via Virgin Records HERE.

Scarlet Pleasure will make their U.S. live debut in Los Angeles, CA at School Night on October 23 and The Peppermint Club on October 25.

“It’s a song about a shipwrecked relationship, a feeling of uncertainty and what it could have developed into – but sometimes destiny decides differently,” says lead singer Emil Goll about “Good Together.” And namely destiny is practically synonym to the stories that Scarlet Pleasure has unwrapped on their latest releases. Goll further explains: “Life is in many ways a series of coincidences that are reflected by the choices we have made in the past. And we like to dive into these choices, both the good and the bad.”

With the single “Déjà VuScarlet Pleasure introduced a brand-new sound built around the DNA of the band: drums, bass, guitar, and vocal. The song went number 1 on the Danish Airplay Chart four weeks in a row and “Déjà Vu” is now certified Platinum in Denmark.

In June, the single “Limbo” and an EP by the same name followed. 15 weeks after the release, the single is still in the Top 5 and both the single and the EP have been certified Gold in Denmark. The two massive hits have set the course for a totally sold out tour in Denmark in November. In March 2018 Scarlet Pleasure, will perform their biggest shows so far at the two Danish arena venues – Scandinavian Congress Center in Aarhus and Forum in Copenhagen.

Scarlet Pleasure consist of childhood friends Alexander, Emil and Joachim, who formed the band in Copenhagen in 2013 and quickly got their big commercial breakthrough with the single “Heat” (2x platinum in Denmark). Since then, the band has since their debut been nominated “Best Danish Group” at the Danish Grammys 2016, played the biggest venues and festivals in Denmark, toured with Lukas Graham and streamed more than 60 million times on Spotify.

Trump Revealed on Opioid Epidemic

With more than 100 Americans dying every day from drug overdoses, Trump declared it was time to take action and officially declared the opioid epidemic a national emergency. The announcement was short on details. Declaring a national state of emergency involves more than just a brief statement from the president to the press — there’s a formal process that requires documents to be signed and legal steps to be followed.

On ViceNews.com, Keegan Hamilton details Trump’s informal state of emergency declaration and how a White House spokesman confirmed that the paperwork still remains incomplete.

The informal state of emergency declaration follows a pattern for the Trump administration. Much like his recent tweets about banning transgender people from the military or his early executive orders about cracking down on crime, Trump’s opioid gambit has been — at least so far — all flash and no substance, attracting attention without making any major policy changes.

Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce tops the list, featured in 11 different tunes by such artists as Future, The Weeknd, and Kodak Black. Ferrari is a close second. Chevrolet, Lamborghini, Bentley, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche each get touts in several songs. Among non-car shout-outs, old standbys Hennessy cognac and Nike’s Air Jordan sneaker label got the most. We also found that it’s not just alcohol, guns, clothing, and super luxury making it into songs anymore—software, cookware, and even Band-Aids are making the grade.

As far as the song including the most name-checks, the crown goes to “Bad and Boujee” by hip-hop group Migos, which climbed all the way to the No. 1 spot on the charts early this year. It includes 19 brand mentions, from Instagram and Klout to Segway scooters and, um, Crock-Pot slow cookers. Car references are sprinkled throughout the song, too. They rap about a “lamb” and a “frog,” nods to Lamborghini and Porsche. There’s also a reference to the Ferrari 458 Spider, a drop-top convertible that costs more than a quarter-million dollars. The Rolls-Royce Ghost gets some attention as well.

The obvious question when musicians mention obscure brands is, are they getting paid? Sometimes they do. As with television shows and feature films, brands like to insert themselves into pop culture, and music is no different. Dozens of music videos show off stuff from Beats, the Jimmy Iovine/Dr. Dre headphones brand owned by Apple Inc. The item appears in several of Lady Gaga’s music videos, from her breakout hit “Just Dance” to “Poker Face” and “Telephone.” Beats Pill speakers, meanwhile, are clearly visible in videos from Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, and Nicki Minaj.

It’s often unclear what’s a paid placement and what’s not, however, since artists generally don’t disclose the deals. No, Drake wasn’t paid by Rolls-Royce to include the Wraith in “Portland,” or its bigger and pricier cousin, the Phantom, in “Jumpman,” according to the manufacturer. But Chris Brown’s 2008 hit “Forever,” which featured the line “double your pleasure,” turned out to be an extended version of a chewing gum jingle for Wrigley’s Doublemint.

There’s a middle ground, however. Rolls-Royce, for example, will sometimes provide cars to be featured in music videos, said company spokesman Gerry Spahn. When someone uses the car as a shorthand for luxury, it helps the brand, he said. And besides, celebrities and musicians make up about 20 percent of the automaker’s customers, so it has the potential to be a sales strategy, too.

The $400,000 Phantom is Rolls-Royce’s signature vehicle, but the company has attracted much hype for three other models it’s released since 2009: the Ghost, Wraith, and Dawn. All have garnered song mentions, with the Wraith topping the tally with four.
While parent company BMW AG keeps close tabs on the Rolls-Royce brand, Spahn said they’re more than happy for the exposure. Last year, Rolls-Royce had its second-highest sales numbers ever, delivering more than 4,000 cars to wealthy customers around the world. Even if the car’s desirability increased, production constraints limit the company to a maximum of 6,000 cars a year, said a person with knowledge of its operations.

After lighting up stages across North America and around the world this summer on a sold out tour and teasing eager fans about upcoming music releases, THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS released a new song today for the first time in four years. Available globally at 8am EDT on all digital retail and streaming sites, “Walk On Water” marks the first single from the multi-platinum selling band’s highly anticipated forthcoming fifth studio album. The song will debut on alternative radio stations at 8am EDT as well as have an ‘all day premiere’ with iHeart Radio.

Next week, “Walk On Water” will have its world television debut in a can’t-miss performance on this year’s MTV VMAs on August 27th, 2017. The song features a sweeping chorus as a call to arms that embodies the spirit of elite athletes, which made it a natural fit for the band, and in collaboration with ESPN, to use “Walk On Water” on ESPN’s college football programming for the 2017 season. The band’s latest single is slated to be used across a variety of shows, promotions and games on ESPN’s college football platforms—television and digital.

Jared Leto first hinted at new music in a dramatic teaser video unveiled on his Instagram in June. The band then confirmed the new single in August with another video. The record, set for release on Interscope Records, follows the band’s 2013 studio album LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS, which debuted inside the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart.

“WALK ON WATER is a song for all of us. It’s a song about freedom, about persistence, about change and about fighting for what you believe in. It is a call to arms but also full of all the optimism and hope that is such an integral part of the American Dream,” said Jared Leto.

PRINCE

The Prince Estate, alongside Pantone Color Institute™, the global color authority, announced today the creation of a standardized custom color to represent and honor international icon, Prince. The (naturally) purple hue, represented by his “Love Symbol #2” was inspired by his custom-made Yamaha purple piano, which was originally scheduled to go on tour with the performer before his untimely passing at the age of 57. The color pays tribute to Prince’s indelible mark on music, art, fashion and culture. The announcement was first made on Refinery29, read here

Prince’s association with the color purple was galvanized in 1984 with the release of the film Purple Rain, along with its Academy Award-winning soundtrack featuring the eponymous song. While the spectrum of the color purple will still be used in respect to the “Purple One,” Love Symbol #2, will be the official color across the brand he left behind.

“The color purple was synonymous with who Prince was and will always be. This is an incredible way for his legacy to live on forever,” said Troy Carter, Entertainment Advisor to Prince’s Estate.

The ‘Purple One’ made a statement and challenged cultural norms through both his well-known music and personal style. In addition to the Oscar, Prince won seven Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe Award for Purple Rain. Both “Purple Rain” and “1999” were entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and Prince was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, the very first year he was eligible.

Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute said: “We are honored to have worked on the development of Love Symbol #2, a distinctive new purple shade created in memory of Prince, ‘the purple one.’ A musical icon known for his artistic brilliance, Love Symbol #2 is emblematic of Prince’s distinctive style. Long associated with the purple family, Love Symbol #2 enables Prince’s unique purple shade to be consistently replicated and maintain the same iconic status as the man himself.”

The Estate is in conversation with various partners about collaboration on products that incorporate the custom color.

Minted Diamond by the RIAA for sales exceeding 13 million, the record stands out as the sixth best-selling soundtrack album in history, moving more than 22 million copies.

Known for his marathon shows, he delivered countless historic performances such as the Super Bowl XLI Halftime Show.
