Saweetie “Pissed” Music Video

Today at 12p PST, Saweetie unveils the music video for her red-hot new single “Pissed” (produced by Cronkite). Watch it HERE.

Get “Pissed” HERE via ICY/Artistry Records/Warner Bros. Records

Developing a reputation for larger-than-life visuals, hip-hop’s hottest new leading lady once again delivers a big screen-worthy clip. Saweetie spares no detractors with one razor sharp rhyme after another as she wilds out on-screen, displaying the stunning and sexy confidence that squarely positioned her as 2018’s fastest rising star.

Expect her to make history in the new year!

“Pissed” followed up her London On Da Track collaboration, “Up Now” [feat. G-Eazy & Rich The Kid]. Meanwhile, it earned looks from Complex, Rap-Up, and more. Saweetie never stops making headlines. She recently made her major tour debut with Drake and Migos. In addition, she lent her lyrical flow to remixes for pop superstar Dua Lipa’s “IDGAF” and Anne Marie’s global hit “2002.”

Flaunting nineties rhyme reverence, fashion-forward fire, and endless charisma, SAWEETIE—born Diamonté Harper—can go bar-for-bar with the best of ‘em, and fans and critics immediately recognized and responded to that. Within six months, she cracked 400 million cumulative streams, garnered a gold plaque, and earned the praise of Billboard, Fader, and Noisey as Los Angeles Times pegged her as “one to watch this year.” Drawing on a passion for poetry and numerous years of rapping in the car, she turned her love for words into vivid verses during 2018 on the High Maintenance EP.

Born in Santa Clara of African-American and Chinese-Filipino descent and raised in Sacramento, the California native went from MVP status as a high school volleyball champ to becoming a shining student at USC. Initially, she deferred her rap dreams to achieve a degree in Communications before being discovered at a Downtown Los Angeles Puma event by current manager Max Gousse [Beyoncé, YG, Ty Dolla $ign]. At Artistry Studios, they produced her 2017 knockout viral smash “ICY GRL.” Driven by a bulletproof flow and one clever line after another, it racked up 300 million combined streams between the original and Kehlani remix, achieved a gold certification from the RIAA, and soared to #1 on Musical.ly. She also earned the early endorsement of gatekeepers such as Vibe, XXL, HipHopDX, and MTV. Touting a new partnership with Warner Bros. Records and Artistry Records for her label Icy, she’s rewriting the rule book and breaking the stereotype of the female emcee. Armed with tracks like “B.A.N.” and “Good Good,” High Maintenance features production courtesy of Zaytoven, Hassan, Saweetie, Cash Money AP, and Gousse.

Once a frequent stand-up performer on Def Comedy Jam in the 1990s, Tucker is best known today for playing Det. James Carter in the Rush Hour film series. Chris is currently returning to the stage on his stand-up comedy tour that has received rave reviews all over the world, while spending much of his spare time traveling and working with his foundation.

The trailblazing business dynamo joined BET as executive vice president and general counsel in 1986, was promoted to president and COO of the network that reaches approximately 78 million homes in March 1996 and to chairman and CEO in 2005. The unmistakable, irrepressible sound of young America didn’t just dominate the charts–it crossed the racial divide during the social upheaval of the 1960’s. The hits and cultural influence doesn’t stop as Motown and its family of imprints explore new genres in partnerships with labels including Quality Control Music, which set the stage for signings of Migos and Lil Yachty. In recognition of the brand’s iconic relevance and impact, EBONY is pleased to honor Motowns decades of success. The award will be accepted by Motown President, and EVP of Capitol Music Group. Last summer, Billboard magazine recognized her as Universal Music Group’s Most Powerful African-American Woman.

“We are delighted to announce our celebrated host and award recipients for this year’s EBONY Power 100 Gala,” says Gibson. “Since unveiling our 2018 EBONY Power 100 List last month, the anticipation and buzz throughout the country has been very exciting to see. DREI ROS × “LIT”

“LIT” – Drei Ros, Sy Ari Da Kid, Reo Gragun & Tray Haggerty:

Romanian born music artist Drei Ros has spent years spicing up tracks for artists such as Pusha T, Gucci Mane and Kap G. Today, he added to his already impressive collection of hit collaborations with his latest single “LIT” featuring Sy Ari Da Kid, Reo Cragun and Tray Haggerty.

Drei was additionally recently featured on the Latina trap track “Bomberos” alongside Latino/Urbano duo Los Rakas and produced by DJ duo Breakfast N Vegas. The successful single was featured on Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday Latin’ and ‘Beast Mode’ playlists. Both new singles come in anticipation of Drei’s forthcoming debut album “Excuse My Accent,” produced by by 808 Mafia (who produced tracks for Future, Drake, Migos, Travis Scott, DJ Khaled, etc.). The album, which shows a never-before-heard side of Drei as an artist, is set to release October 2018.

Drei has endured grand success in a short amount of time, leading up to the creation of his debut album. He officially began his career in 2009, teaming up with artists Burre Collins and Dyce Dylli to form the band B.O.S.S. (“building our success story”). His infectious Romanian accent added intrigue to his English raps, and brought quick success to several B.O.S.S. singles – ultimately leading to the curation of the band’s album and a tour of the Pacific Northwest.

Still new to the music industry and experimenting with his sound, Drei teamed up with more artists of different backgrounds to dabble with adding his own creative style to a multitude of genres. He’s since paired up with the likes of Jamaican Reggae legend Junior Reid, Alex Mica, Evelyn, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Pusha T, Krisha, etc. In 2016, Drei’s music video went viral for “Shake Dat Monkey” featuring JBo of the Youngbloodz (and Messiah on the Latin remix), garnering 3.3M+ YouTube views. Continuing his history of successful collabs in 2017, Drei released the singles “Ordinary Day” featuring Pack The Arcade and “I Need You” featuring Marvelus Fame and Bel. At the beginning of 2018, Drei teamed up with J Romero and Kap G to create “Loco” with an accompanying music video, which has already garnered 1.2M+ views on YouTube alone.

Now, Drei is out to show the world his own sound by releasing an album of his original tracks with “Excuse My Accent.” The trap album mixes English and Spanish languages, giving it the edge of an international appeal. With his Romanian roots and the lessons from his many collaborations molded into the foundation of the artist he has become, Drei’s album will have hints of his past creations – but overall be a never-before-heard music brand for fans that fully embodies this musical mastermind of ‘Drei Ros’ as an artist.
