YOUNG BOMBS RELEASE NEW SINGLE “LOYAL” FEATURING GIGI

YOUNG BOMBS RELEASE NEW

SINGLE “LOYAL” FEATURING GIGI TODAY Duo Extend Tour Plans, Hitting Major North American Universities This Fall Listen To “Loyal” Here:

Maintaining momentum for a breakthrough 2019, YOUNG BOMBS share a brand-new single entitled “Loyal” featuring GiGi today. On the track, the acclaimed duo join forces with the buzzing Los Angeles singer and songwriter. Together, they craft a lush and lively love song, flipping convention upside down in the process. Airy synths and cinematic production give way to an unshakable beat as GiGi’s voice flutters on the refrain, “I’ve never been loyal, I’ve always been selfish with my love, was running in circles, but it’s you I run to now.” “‘Loyal’ is a special song to us. On social media we portray ourselves as these crazy guys but deep down we are both pretty emotional. ‘Loyal’ feels like a diary entry where someone’s deepest and darkest self-reflections are realized and in turn, put them on the path of identifying true love. It’s about being honest with yourself and putting someone else’s happiness before everything. It also has a sick ass drop,” says Young Bombs. GiGi adds her perspective saying,

“‘Loyal’ is about the desire to change from selfish love to selfless love. It’s about finding that one person who makes you want to better yourself, to stop being self-destructive and love completely. Personally, it was about ditching the bad habits I used to self-sabotage and ruin past relationships. I found someone who was so inherently good and who treated me with so much compassion, respect, and love that I didn’t want to stray.” Be on the lookout for the premiere of the music video very soon. “Loyal” follows up a series of scorching singles from Young Bombs. Between the original version and remixes, the empowering anti-bullying anthem “Don’t Let Them” racked up over 2 million total streams. Listen to “Don’t Let Them” Remixes HERE, featuring reworkings by The Small Things, Flyboy, Façade, Weirdos and Jake Wolfe. The track continues to climb at dance radio with adds at Sirius XM and iHeart Evolution. Meanwhile, their debut “Starry Eyes” is nearing 5 million total streams. “Starry Eyes” was selected as both the iHeart Canada “Future Star” and Rogers “One To Watch” – the two biggest airplay programs for a new single in Canada, which has earned them a top 15 record and climbing at Top 40 radio. Additionally, the pair received the praise of Billboard, Idolator, and more. Not to mention, they ignited the Main Stage at ULTRA Music Festival earlier this year.

Following multiple shows this month including a gig at Auburn University in Auburn, AL. Young Bombs hit the road for numerous dates across North America, kicking off September 4 in Oshawa, ON at Ontario Tech University. Check out the full confirmed itinerary below. In 2019, Young Bombs make the bold leap from sought-after remixers to artists. That leap remains driven by a personal and creative chemistry forged way back in the Vancouver high school where they became best friends. With nearly 100 million streams in four years, the duo of Martin and Tristan cooked up 53 remixes by 2018.

Along the way, they lent their talents to everyone from Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez, and Lady Gaga to Billie Eilish, Alessia Cara, Post Malone, Khalid, and Bazzi. In addition, they attracted the support of Tiësto, Kygo, and Don Diablo. Simultaneously, they graced the stages of blockbuster festivals such as Lollapalooza, Ultra, Firefly Music Festival, and the Billboard Hot 100 Festival. Not to mention, Young Bombs supported The Chainsmokers, Galantis, Diplo, and Alesso on tour around the globe and launched a coveted residency at Drai’s Beachclub in Vancouver.

BANKS shares “Contaminated” video

BANKS shares the lyric video for the haunting track “Contaminated.” View it HERE.

The track is featured on BANKS’ third album, III, which debuted to widespread critical acclaim last month. Zane Lowe first debuted the song as a World First on Apple Music’s Beats 1. BANKS recorded “Contaminated” in Los Angeles, collaborating with producer BJ Burton (Bon Iver, Francis and the Lights). Rolling Stone called the track “infectious” while Billboard noted “‘Contaminated,’…a heavy synth-based melody juxtaposed by the songstress’ signature airy vocals to detail the draining and heartbreaking process of being with someone not healthy for you.”

“‘Contaminated’ is about being addicted to a toxic relationship. The more you give, the less of yourself you become,” says BANKS. BANKS further discusses III in feature articles running in TIME Magazine, Harper’s BAZAAR, Vanity Fair, V Magazine and elsewhere. III is her highest-charting album to date on Billboard’s Top Album Sales tally, debuting at No. 3. It came in at No. 1 on the Internet Albums tally, No. 2 on the Current Alternative Albums and Current Pop Albums charts and No. 9 on the Digital Albums chart. Songs from III have accumulated over 50 million streams alone. She’ll support the album with an extensive headline tour, which kicks off on September 3 at REBEL in Toronto.

The III Tour will include two sold-out shows at Brooklyn Steel (with a third night on sale now) and an October 1 concert at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Tickets and VIP packages are on sale now. BANKS will also perform at such festivals as Music Midtown in Atlanta, Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas and Austin City Limits. DUKE DUMONT OFFICIAL “INHALE” VIDEO IS OUT!

DUKE DUMONT DELIVERS OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR “INHALE”

GRAMMY-nominated producer Duke Dumont has unveiled his wildly quirky official video for “Inhale,” his single with rising UK talent Ebenezer. View the official video HERE. “Inhale” is available for streaming and purchase HERE via Astralwerks.

Telling the tale of Robert Lloyd’s famous poetic line, slow & steady wins the race, the “Inhale” video showcases the story of a sloth who manages to escape to the office elevator first on a Friday evening, amid the chaotic and violent scenes that break out in the workplace as the clock hits 5pm. The themes of relaxation and living a stress-free sloth-like life transpire through Duke’s lusciously down-tempo melodies on the record, which follows his “For Club Play Only” EP, and Gorgon City collaboration “Real Life”- a hugely popular anthem of the 2017 Ibiza season.

Laced with the slick vocals of critically acclaimed, rising star Ebenezer, “Inhale” relies on a funky-groove led bassline, and electronica synths that give the track a summery feel, and look set to follow in the footsteps of Duke’s previous two UK #1 hits “Need U (100%)” and “I Got U.”

A true global superstar, Duke Dumont has amassed over 1 BILLION combined streams across his flurry of releases to date, and continues to tour worldwide. With a number of shows already locked in for 2018, the Brit will travel to Las Vegas for residencies at Wynn and Daylight, as well as headlining festival slots all round Europe, Australia, San Diego, Chicago, and many more.

Having recently released his Bad Romantic 9-track EP, Hommerton-born Ebenezer has previously worked with the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih and Craig David and gained support from the likes of Noisey, FADER, and Hunger. Ebenezer is swiftly gaining reputation as one of London’s hottest exports.

Preceding the release of Duke Dumont’s highly anticipated album, “Inhale” has already racked up nearly 4 million Spotify streams since release, with the official video out now!

GLASS ANIMALS LAUNCH NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINE TOUR TOMORROW AT SEATTLE’S WAMU THEATER

Run Will Include September 21 Show At Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium And October 5 Concert At NYC’s Radio City Music Hall

How To Be A Human Being Shortlisted For UK’s Mercury Prize

Band Will Perform At Austin City Limits Festival On October 14

Glass Animals will launch their third North American headline tour of 2017 tomorrow, September 16, at Seattle’s WaMu Theater. The run includes a show at Los Angeles’ historic Shrine Auditorium (September 21) and the band’s first concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City (October 5). Additional East Coast dates include shows at Agganis Arena in Boston (October 7) and the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC (October 8 & 9). Glass Animals will cap off the outing with a performance at Austin City Limits Festival on October 14. See below for itinerary. Tickets are available at http://glassanimals.eu/.

The band, which was shortlisted for the 2017 Mercury Prize, continues to pull out all the stops during its live performances. DIY Magazine, reviewing a 2017 show in London, said, “From the second frontman Dave Bayley bounds on stage with limitless energy, Brixton Academy is theirs, and the Oxford quartet proceed to give it one hell of a party.” The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette noted, “[the] band has honed its act at all the major festivals — Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, etc. — and it showed in the high energy that began as soon as it hit the stage with ‘Life Itself,’ the percussive dance track that opens the new, second album, ‘How to Be a Human Being.'”

A broken ankle couldn’t keep Bayley from crowd surfing during the band’s main stage set at Coachella, cited as a festival highlight by Billboard, which praised Glass Animals’ “dynamic rendition” of “Gooey.” In July, a storm briefly interrupted their sold-out show at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, but the band returned to the stage and got the crowd dancing again. Local NBC affiliate 9 News observed, “You always take the risk of rain or shine at Red Rocks, but Glass Animals made it worth every drop.” Their riveting live shows have contributed to Glass Animals’ incredible global growth, resulting in sold-out excursions throughout the U.K., Europe and Australia.

Glass Animals are touring in support of How To Be A Human Being (Harvest Records), which debuted in the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 and topped the iTunes Alternative Albums chart in the U.S. and Australia. The album introduced fans to a diverse group of fictional characters, inspired by real people the band encountered while on tour. Glass Animals have continued to bring these characters to life with interactive sites for “Life Itself,””Youth” and “Pork Soda,” as well as a video game app for “Season 2 Episode 3.

The single “Agnes” has over 10 million streams on Spotify worldwide. The official video, directed by Eoin Glaister, and can be seen HERE. Track “Pork Soda” has upwards of 13 million Spotify streams, and the official video, which can be seen HERE, has more than one million views. NPR Music placed “Life Itself” on its list of “Songs We Love” while “Youth” appeared on their “10 Songs Public Radio Can’t Stop Playing” list. How To Be A Human Being is the follow-up to Glass Animals’ 2014 debut, ZABA, which contained the hits “Gooey” and “Black Mambo.”

Cut Copy’s NEW ALBUM, ‘Haiku From Zero,’ Set for September 22 Release on Astralwerks

Album Pre-Order Launches Today

Cut Copy Announces Fall North American Headline Tour

Stream New Single, “Standing In The Middle Of The Field,” HERE

Haiku From Zero, Cut Copy’s first proper studio album in nearly four years and first for Astralwerks – will be released on September 22. Today, the band unveiled the second single from the album, “Standing in the Middle of the Field.” Amid a backdrop of loping kalimbas, cowbells and bubbly synths, lead singer Dan Whitford’s plaintive voice offers some emotional advice: “You gotta give up the things you love to make it better.” The song announces a theme that percolates throughout Haiku From Zero– the need to cut through the noise, a desire to focus. Listen to “Standing in the Middle of the Field” HERE.

“So much of this album is about this mosaic of information, images that we’re surrounded by on a day-to-day basis,” says Dan Whitford. “Sometimes it feels like overload, but there’s a weird random beauty in it. The idea of squeezing poetry from chaos was where the title of the album came from – the idea of finding something poetic in the overload.”

Haiku From Zero is available for pre-order in digital, CD and LP format HERE. Fans who pre-order the digital album will instantly receive the first single, “Airborne,” plus “Standing in the Middle of the Field.” See below for the complete track listing. A 7″ of “Standing in the Middle of the Field” featuring an exclusive b-side will be available to those who pre-order the vinyl edition of Haiku From Zero at select U.S. record stores. The list of participating stores will be announced shortly.

In addition, today Cut Copy have announced a North American headline tour, which will kick off on November 9 at The Catalyst Club in Santa Cruz, CA. The run will include a November 11 concert at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles and a November 24 show at Terminal 5 in New York City. See below for itinerary. A fan pre-sale for the Cut Copy mailing list begins today at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT. Tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow, August 11, at 10 AM local time at http://cutcopy.net/tour/. Cut Copy will also perform at several U.S. festivals this fall, including Luna Lights, CRSSD and Austin City Limits.

Written and recorded at studios around the world (Melbourne, Copenhagen, Washington, DC, New York, Atlanta), the nine tracks on Haiku From Zero nonetheless present a united sonic front, due in no small part to the guiding ear of producer Ben Allen (Deerhunter, Animal Collective, Neon Indian). Songs like “Counting Down” and “Living Upside Down” offer glimpses of beauty in a state of disco-fueled flux.

“Airborne” met with widespread critical acclaim upon its release last month. Noisey said, “It is classy as shit, and it’s definitely a ‘match your steps to the tempo of the song as you walk down the street’ kind of jam.” Stereogum hailed it as “a disco-pop odyssey that sounds like, well, soaring through the sky, before eventually blasting off into psychedelic bliss.” Consequence of Sound praised the accompanying video, directed by Gerson Aguerri (The Vaccines, Breakbot) of the Barcelona-based production company CANADA, as “magical.” Paste Magazine found it “wildly imaginative” and noted, “[it] follows frontman Dan Whitford as a trek for a late-night munch leads him down a surreal rabbit-hole filled with otherworldly characters and bizarre street views.” View the official video for “Airborne” HERE

Initially a bedroom recording project by Whitford, Cut Copy evolved into a full-fledged band with guitarist Tim Hoey, drummer Mitchell Scott, and bass player Ben Browning. The quartet’s studio albums include In Ghost Colours, which Pitchfork named as one of the best albums of 2008 and among the top albums of the 2000s, and 2011’s Zonoscope, which won two ARIA Awards and was nominated for a GRAMMY.

The band’s songs have been licensed for use in television, games and commercials, including Chevrolet, Netflix, Amazon and Levi’s® #LiveinLevis campaign. DJing and mixes have also been a big part of Cut Copy’s identity – from the band’s famed Fabric mix, Fabriclive.29, to the 2014 Melbourne dance compilation, Oceans Apart. In addition to headlining massive sold-out shows, the band has gained prime slots at prestigious festivals such as Coachella, Ultra and Lollapalooza in the U.S.; Primavera in Spain, Pitchfork in Paris; Summer Sonic in Japan; and Big Day Out in Australia.
