Caesars Entertainment Corporation announced today an unprecedented 15-year partnership that will make Caesars Entertainment (Caesars) the first founding partner of the Las Vegas Stadium, the future home of the Las Vegas Raiders, elevating Caesars’ profile in professional sports.

The historic partnership also marks the first Raiders deal with a gaming and hospitality company, providing select Caesars Entertainment customers and Total Rewards members access to exclusive experiences like the customized Caesars-branded Owners Suite at the 50-yard line of the Las Vegas stadium, VIP Dinners on the field, training facility events, fantasy camp participation, stadium tours, along with tickets to home games and most stadium events.
As a Founding Partner, Caesars Entertainment will host a branded stadium entrance and drop off zone, digital signage, media, radio and print assets in addition to alumni, player and cheerleader appearances – giving the company a commanding presence.
This partnership with the Las Vegas Raiders follows the company’s recent announcement with the Baltimore Ravens, Maryland’s only partnership between a National Football League team and a casino.
The 65,000-seat stadium will bring 520,000 people to home games each year, when it opens for the 2020 NFL season.

Vice President of Abell Auction Company, Todd Schireson, gives a one-on-one personal interview regarding his business as well as his family’s legacy.
Q: How does one become a curator for an auction?
A: Although I have a BA Degree in Business/Economics, I grew up surrounded by antiques and fine art through the family business. I started taking an interest in design, and knew that I wanted to work in the art world.
Q: When did you realize that you wanted to continue your family’s legacy?
A: I was working in high-end residential management and was fortunate enough to work closely with some of the most important interior designers of the day. I became increasingly passionate about art and design, and started taking more of an interest in the auction business. My grandfather and father were both co-owners of the family auction house and it was a natural step to take in my mid-twenties.
Q: What type of research have you conducted in order to keep your pulse on the millennial consumer?
A: My research comes from years of experience as an auctioneer watching what different age groups are buying. We have changed our business format to encompass more millennial buyers. We hold specialty auctions, especially featuring more mid-century and luxury goods to accommodate that market.
Q: Do you consider yourself a philanthropist? Does any of your proceeds at your auction go towards any humanitarian efforts?
A: All of the auctioneers at Abell including myself donate our time to doing charitable auction events. I recently served as an auctioneer for the Jane Goodall foundation charity auction, and have done cancer foundation auctions as well.
Q: Describe your most eclectic find for this youthful market segment?
A: Every so often we come across really fun estates in Southern California. One estate that a youthful market responded well to was a single-owner men’s sneaker collection. We sold more than 200 pairs of collectible, new, in-box sneakers.
Q: How do you select a location for your pop-up engagements?
A: We selected a location based off of a diverse, younger, affluent market. We typically use the Venice area for its walkable neighborhood and the educated art community present.
Q: What advice would you give to someone aspiring to be an auctioneer?
A: The main facets of being an auctioneer are obtaining merchandise and selling merchandise. For both you have to know your customer base, know what look is selling, and be educated about any piece that could come across an auction house.
Q: Is there anything you wish us to know about your next endeavors?
A: We are taking a 102-year-old business and bring it into the 21st century by becoming more accessible online, to reach an audience that can’t necessarily be here in person.
Q: Are you tackling other markets besides LA? National? International?
A: We have a solid base in Southern California, but have expanded into Palm Springs, Northern California and Las Vegas. We are an internationally and nationally recognized auction house; our expansion into the international markets has been a result of expanding online.

Late last night, both sides ended the stand-off by agreeing to a seven-year contract extension worth $36.4 million. It is only a flat structure contract with no salary fluctuation or bonuses, meaning that he will not be guaranteed any money. However, there is a modified No-Trade Clause in the final two years.
Theodore now looks to be set to join the Golden Knights at training camp and is expected to be ready for the regular season.
The annual value for the new contract is $5.2 million, which is lower than Theodore would like. He was hoping for an annual salary close to what Josh Morrissey of the Winnipeg Jets or Darnell Nurse of the Edmonton Oilers have. However, those deals only carried two years each while Theodore gets a long-term deal in Vegas.
A while ago, we would’ve thought that the Golden Knights and Theodore would part ways at one point over this standoff, so this move comes as a bit of a surprise. However, with Theodore finally in camp for the Golden Knights, it’s just another big piece that the Golden Knights wanted to keep in order to make another run towards the Stanley Cup.
On Saturday, September 15, Chivas joined Gennady “GGG” Golovkin for his anticipated rematch against Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas, where he demonstrated his limitless passion and determination after an exciting and challenging fight.
Gennady’s fighting spirit prevailed despite the hurdles on his road to the rematch. Davi acted and performed in the Frank Sinatra 100th Birthday Special on PBS—most fitting since Sinatra’s work has been foundational in Davi’s own life and career.
Davi and Georgós Greek Wine formed a partnership after Davi purchased a bottle of wine at Whole Foods Market in San Francisco. The bottle happened to be Georgós’ “Santorini” wine. After Davi tasted the crisp white varietal, he fell in love instantly and called it, “one of the smoothest damn wines I’ve ever had.” He then dove into the reds and was inspired to connect with Georgós.
Robert Davi will work with the Georgós team as its brand ambassador to broaden its reach by spreading the wine’s unique story and to help create more great tasting wines. “In my family, wine was as necessary a drink as water. I helped my grandfather make his homemade wine at our family home on Long Island, and have been searching for an opportunity to once again become intimate with the process,” Davi said recently, “I’ve always been a lover of all things Greek – poetry, food, culture, and after tasting all the Georgós blends, it was ordained that I join with them! Robert Rex is a genius at blending wines—rather like a great composer creating a symphony, he blends the notes and tones in these wines creating an experience you will want to go back to time and again. The partnership between Davi and Georgós Greek Wine comes fresh off the heels of another collaboration between the winemaking team and personalities of note. Georgós Greek Wine founder Georgos Zanganas is especially thrilled to work with Davi, as he sees it as a partnership between two parties who are constantly redefining. “One of my favorite movies of all time is JAMES BOND: LICENSE TO KILL. Robert played a tough guy, and established a great reputation in that archetype,” Zanganas says, “now he has the opportunity to show another side of his personality by singing Frank Sinatra classics at some of the greatest venues across the globe. We have taken the best of the American winemaking techniques and applied them to our imported Greek fruit to change traditional Greek Wine into a super-premium experience – like visiting the Greek Isles in a glass. Georgós was born after founder Georgos Zanganas moved to San Francisco to work as an engineer. Zanganas is very sensitive to sulfites in wine, and he struggled to find a wine that did not give him a headache or stop the red flush of his face. He even found it difficult to come by good quality Greek wine in the area. Surprising, as the US market was saturated with all things Greek – such as yogurt or olive oil – but curiously not wine. He decided to make a wine perfect for him: clean tasting with low sulfites and no additives. Zanganas discovered Deerfield Ranch Winery in Sonoma Valley (known for their “Clean Wine”), on a trip to Sonoma, where he met winemaker Robert Rex, who was recently named 2018 Winemaker of the year by the American Fine Wine Competition. Together they embarked to make a “clean wine” with imported Greek fruit. Zanganas and Rex spent one year, tasting over 400 samples until they found the perfect recipe to create Georgós Super-Premium Greek wine, which is fruit forward with soft tannins. The rest, as they say, is history.
Zanganas added on the company’s journey, “I never thought that I would be in the wine business, but I wanted everyone to be able to drink a great quality wine without experiencing a headache. I also found the opportunity to make Greek wine in the heart of the US winemaking region an irresistible challenge. It’s like importing and making California olive oil in Kalamata, Greece – to succeed you have to believe in it with passion.”
