Harlowe Bar

By Krishan Narsinghani

360 Magazine had the opportunity to join Harlowe Bar for a night out. The speakeasy atmosphere of the venue sets a different mood that one may caption as “A bit of Old Hollywood in West Hollywood.” The look is inspired by social clubs from Hollywood’s 19th century Golden Era. In reality, it’s a rather new establishment that features signature hand-crafted cocktails with whimsical names like “Business Bitch” and “Lizard King.” Food items are also available as well as Happy Hour from 5:00pm to 7:00pm daily.

The nightlife showcases a mix of Top 40 trending music and tables for purchase that include a booth seating approximately six people. Whether you prefer a booth, drink at the bar or dance floor with live DJ, the hidden gem is a 360 favorite. By the end of the night, Harlowe Bar will leave you with a sense of rejuvenation for a well-deserved rendezvous. The hotspot is located at 7321 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90046.

Wisconsin Osthoff Resort

By Krishan Narsinghani

Wisconsin is known for their cheese and ice creams. A major food one may overlook is the Wisconsin cranberry. 360 Magazine had the opportunity to visit their tourism team for an exploration of lodging, dining, cranberry wonders and more.

The trip began at the Osthoff Resort at Elkhart Lake, a quaint fairytale land that makes a city kid feel free. The plot roots back to the age of the Potawatomi Native American Tribe, where the area still inhibits the same wholistic lifestyle. In 1885, the Osthoff Resort was built by Auto Osthoff and reimagined 100 years later to the four Diamond AAA rated majestic lodge guests see today. The 248 room boasts 1, 2, and 3-bedroom suites that fancy a kitchen (or kitchenette) and an individual private balcony. The grand hotel is the perfect family getaway, especially in the Summer. With a three-tear lake deck and Mirror Lake, there’s no disappointment when it comes to adult and kid-friendly activities. The deck includes a bar, live entertainment along with water sports open to guests and the public – aqua cycles, power boats, sailboats and pontoon cruises.

The resort offers a handful of different restaurants to try, Lola’s On The Lake being the choice for media on their first night. Lola’s infuses their dishes with fresh ingredients from the Osthoff Gardens that harvest over 11,000 pounds of produce including edible flowers available in 2019. It’s a farm to table atmosphere while the menu is consistently changes. 360’s personal favorite was the Rib Eye Steak Special with Potato Donuts. This mouth-watering meal introduced savory and sweet for new flavors that will wow your tastebuds.

360 Magazine enjoyed an afternoon cooking class inspired from their wellness menu that featured nutrient dense and natural sugar items. The foods prepared are purposely chosen so more guests with dietary restrictions can participate and indulge. Courses included a Lemon and Raspberry Chia Seed Pudding, Overnight Oats, Egg Shakshuka (Baked Eggs with Feta, Garden Tomato Sauce and Cilantro) and a Quinoa Salad with Halibut. The Shakshuka wafted aromatic Middle Eastern flavors that start your pallet off right and finishes with a taste of creamy tomato sauce and powerful spices.

Others enjoyed a natural spa and wellness treatment at Aspira, which translates to “infused with spirit.” Guests rejuvenate themselves through a variety of specials such as the meditation sanctuary that binds water from Elkhart Lake and hydrating cranberry facials.

In 1857, Wisconsin birthed Steven’s Point Brewery, the third-oldest independently owned and continuously operating brewhouse in the United States. The guided tour and tasting throughout the facility showcased new craft beers and history that withstood the Civil War, prohibition and The Great Depression. Their pilot brewing system has the capacity to make ten barrels of beer at one time essentially creating a microbrewery inside of a craft brewery. Enjoy a refreshing pineapple flavor, white chocolate stout or Octoberfest.

Ride along Cranberry Highway to Gottschalk Cranberry Marsh to witness a breathtaking sea of red fruits. Throughout the Fall season, visitors can drive around 50 miles of these beds from Wisconsin Rapids to Warrens. This antioxidant rich treat is grown on low running vines at bogs and later flooded with water. The berries float to the top and are harvested by picking machines. Local restaurants like Great Expectations (originally a fully women-owned business) incorporate these cranberries into nearly all their dishes. These partnerships make for signature items like their House-Made Ginger-Cranberry Moscow Mule and Unforgettable Grilled Cheese with Cran-Pepper Jam.

One of America’s favorite juices, Ocean Spray, is headquartered on a 70 acre manufacturing facility. Producing 3.6 millions gallons of concentrate a year, the company utilizes a complex system. Wisconsin will produce 5.9 million barrels of cranberries in 2018 making so called, “America’s Dairyland,” the nation’s No. 1 cranberry producer.

Overall, 360 left with a delightful taste and an aura revitalized. When visiting Wisconsin, come prepared with an empty stomach and an open mind for well-deserved Midwestern hospitality.

9th Annual LA Food Festival

Written By: Krishan Narsinghani

The city of Los Angeles is known for an assortment of activities and attractions. The amount of restaurants and food trucks the greater area of LA offers continues to skyrocket.

The ninth annual LA Food Festival took place at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. Thousands of foodies entered the park on a sunny September day to try street bites, hand-crafted drinks and decadent desserts. The venue offered parking for a minimal fee and separate validated parking for VIP ticket holders. Inside the venue included live performances ranging from mariachi bands to top hits radio stations.

One of 360 Magazine‘s personal favorites was the fish tacos. Talk about paradise. With chili powder topped piña coladas, refreshing  salads and oriental wonders, the day was pleasantly overwhelming. The Indian cuisine vendor, Tukda, inspired a fusion of the traditional appetizer Pani Puri by mixing vodka in the liquid filling. It was a sweet and savory delectable that is served at their Culver City Location.

The festival concluded with a contest where guests could vote on their favorite foods and encouraged the use of social media through hashtags: #LAfoodfest + #FoodFestWinnerWinner + #stretchypants.

The day left everyone with high spirits and food comas. Check out LA’s hottest restaurants by visiting the vendor page at

By Krishan Narsinghani

The 25,000 square feet venue includes three separate floors and a vegas-style club atmosphere. In VIP, a top floor overlooks the stage with lounges and private bars. The club boasts a younger diverse demographic that celebrates all guests on their evening out.

Klingande, known as Cédric Steinmylle, is a French tropical house DJ known for his melodic uplifting sound. Klingande incorporates Swedish lyrics into his music as well as his stage name, that translates to “chiming” or “to sound”. The DJ took over the night with originals and crowd favorites, shifting from deep house to EDM. The 360 team personally enjoyed watching the live saxophone player who gave each song a funky twist.

With confetti falling from the sky, the evening ended at 2:00am. Klingande is a showstopper breaking the surface of the house music world.

March 9, 2017 ߝ Hollywood, CA ߝ Today, Vera Blue unveils a brand new version of her single Lady Powers featuring Atlantaߣs hip-hop maverick Kodie Shane: LISTEN HERE. Lifted from Lady Powers | Power Ladies Remix EP, out Friday April 13, the EP features four additional interpretations of Lady Powers by all-female producers TOKiMONSTA, Maya Jane Coles, Alice Ivy and Maria Marcus.

Adding new textures and life into Lady Powers, the Australian songstress tapped some of the most exciting local and international talent to take on the track, which originally appeared on her debut album Perennial [July 2017, Capitol Records]. The dreamy production from Alice Ivy, the lush additions from Californian TOKiMONSTA, the deep house meets disco vibes from Maria Marcus, to the after-party-3-am dubstep mix by award-winning Maya Jane Coles all compliment the Lady Powers (feat. Kodie Shane) single on the EP.

Vera Blue explains:

Lady Powers’ is about not having to use your sexuality to be respected as a woman and to be able to feel comfortable in your own skin without having to change for someone while knowing who you are, your worth and your strength. It’s hard sometimes, especially when you feel vulnerable. You can question who you are to try and suit the desires of another resulting in a loss of dignity and self-respect.

My friends empower and inspire me, giving me security and confidence to feel strong and worthy. As women we all have lady powers, but we shouldn’t have to use them to feel wanted or respected. We need to respect ourselves. In doing that, we have true lady powers other than just our bodies.

Similar thoughts are reflected by 19-year-old Kodie Shane about Lady Powers who says:

Feminism to me, is nothing more and nothing less than the belief in equality for women. I personally feel a responsibility to demonstrate to that we girls have the Power to not only gain equality for women but all sectors of society.

I’m super excited to be a part of Vera Blues Lady Powers because it hits home with me. I feel that so many girls in my generation don’t quite understand their power and I wake up every day hoping to shed light on how far Being You and using your God-given power can take you!

One of Atlantaߣs freshest, fiercest, and fieriest voices, Kodie Shane offers a fresh take on hip hop, with tightly-wound rhymes, clever lyrics, and ear-worm melodies over buoyant, genre-blurring beats that have become her calling card. She has garnered praise from The Fader, Pitchfork, Complex, Noisey, Paper, NYLON, and more.

Having been reviewed by British rock legend Liam Gallagher for his Weekly Music Corner and chosen numerous times by world renowned choreographer Brian Friedman for his dance class performances, Lady Powers has already received international attention.

Perennial debuted #6 on the ARIA Album Chart and amassed a GOLD ARIA single with Hold, a triple j Album of the Year nomination, a Top 10 triple j Listeners Album of 2018, and an ARIA Award Nomination for Best Pop Release. In total, Vera Blues music has been streamed over 80 million times from singles such as Hold, Mended, and Regular Touch. Stateside, Vera Blue performed her first sold out headline shows with the likes of PAPER Magazine claiming the Sydney artist is undoubtedly on the path to world domination.

The band’s ongoing evolution involves more than just musicߞlead vocalist and songwriter Tarriona Tank Ball continues to grow and develop as a performer and writer. She was inspired,Éd; Norman Spence (synth keys, bass) says, laughing at the memory. More recently, Ball has become less of a dervish onstage I was running around so much I didn’t have time to sing at all, she say while finding new ways of expressing herself as a writer.
