Logic catapulted to fame with his now 5x platinum “1-800-273-8255 (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline)” featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid. The song garnered two Grammy nominations, including “Song of the Year,” was a Billboard Hot 100 hit, Top 10 at Pop Radio, #1 on Spotify, and #5 on Spotify Global. His most recent release, “Homicide” featuring Eminem, garnered over 30 million streams in one week and debuted at #1 on the Spotify US Charts upon release.
The track, which samples the vocals of late disco and house legend Loleatta Holloway, is released via the Australian artist’s own Catch & Release label and Astralwerks. The track evoked a particularly strong reaction when dropped in the midst of FISHER’s massively well-received set at Coachella last month.
“You Little Beauty” marks the larger-than-life character’s first release of 2019, following on from last years “Losing It.” An instant hit, the track has now racked up more than 66 million Spotify streams.
This preceded a sold out Catch & Release party at Miami Music Week, and FISHER’s summer is shaping up to be just as busy. With slots at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas and Movement Detroit before the end of the month, he will then embark on an extensive European tour, taking in Parklife, Lovebox, Leeds & Reading, and more.
FISHER is also set to partner with Solardo and Camelphat for a brand-new weekly Ibiza residency. Titled Bodyworks, they will take over Hï Ibiza every Tuesday from June 25th to September 24th.
Known for his wild sense of humor and energetic DJing style, FISHER first burst onto the US electronic scene with tracks “Stop It” and “Ya Kidding” and has since become one of the scene’s most in- demand talents.
Arriving just in time for summer, “You Little Beauty” has all the makings of a track set to take both charts and dance floors by storm.
On May 9, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Big Hit Entertainment’s newest boyband since BTS, kicked off their highly-anticipated US showcase tour with an electrifying performance in front of a sold-out crowd of over 2,100 fans at the PlayStation Theatre in the heart of New York City. To watch the five members, SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN and HUENINGKAI, fans started lining up early in the day, and were spotted singing lyrics from the record-breaking debut album ‘The Dream Chapter: STAR.’
‘TOMORROW X TOGETHER SHOWCASE: STAR in US’ began in a vibrant splash of colors with a performance of “Blue Orangeade”, followed by personal introductions, playful banter and games. From the moment the band took the stage, the theatre was filled with the sound of fans cheering nonstop. The band’s recently released English single “Cat & Dog” had the crowd singing and dancing along on their feet. The set then continued with a mashup of “Nap of a Star” and an acoustic version of “Our Summer”.
Closing the showcase with their first hit single “CROWN”, TOMORROW X TOGETHER said “Just like the title of our debut album, it feels like we have made such an amazing first dream chapter. We thank all our fans who came out to see us. Everything was only possible because of them. We will continue to show our best music and performances.”
The Dream Chapter: STAR is the highest charting debut album by an all-male K-pop group on the Billboard Top 200.
Toronto-based singer/songwriter Allan Rayman releases his new single “Poison.” Listen HERE!
Of the song, Allan says, “I really forgot about the song. I had made it with the intention of it being part of Harry Hard On, and I guess I just overlooked it. I rediscovered it and I love the song so here we are.”
Beginning on May 21, Allan and his band will be taking their live show on the road. The tour dubbed The Allan Rayman Show will be heading to 22 cities across North America. Kicking off in Portland, OR and making stops in major markets including Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, Boston, Austin and Vancouver. A full list of dates is below and tickets are available now HERE.
“Poison” follows Allan’s critically acclaimed album Harry Hard-On released late last year via Republic Records/KIDindaKorner. “Rose,” the album’s debut single, climbed the alternative radio charts and has over two million Spotify streams to date. Harry Hard-On has also been met with critical praise, with TIME Magazine heralding the track “Crush,” saying,“Rayman’s voice contains multitudes: a rough ache, a smooth hum, a rock star’s confidence.”
Voyce Memos an indie group from Houston, Texas released their album Catching Me In Stride on April 19, 2019. With music similar to Tame Impala, Daft Punk, Phoenix, Radiohead and Death Cab For Cutie. The group is compromised of three people, Richard Borger, lead producer/audio engineer originally from Florida and currently working out of his own home studio (Meraki Recordings) in Houston, TX, began working shortly as a solo artist before meeting drummer, Stephen Mokulis, and multi-instrumentalist/producer, Akash Gupta. The group dedicated time primarily after their full-time work days and on weekends, turning casual jam sessions into a basis for songs and eventually recordings what would later become their first album.
Voyce Memos music captures the ideas of human changes and the decisions we make, especially in relationships, love, and self-understanding. Driving funky bass lines and guitar riffs, on top of ethereal vocals and mixed electronic/live drumming, meld into something to which everyone can relate and groove.
“This album, and musical endeavor in general stems from much introspection and self (and non-self) awareness. Sometimes a moment or series of events comes along in life that changes a lot of what you thought to be “true”, like the way things are supposed to be, or how you’re supposed to love, or where you’re supposed to work and live, etc. Opening a music studio, learning how to produce, and deciding to create an album was the result of that moment, and the album title “Catching Me in Stride” was the attempt at catching that type of emotion, especially when it came to relationships. The most exciting thing about it was that there was never a point where we decided to say “let’s stick to this type of music or sound or vocal.” We decided to let whatever came to mind and sound be exactly how it felt, and that lent itself to quite a variety of sounds on the album, while still being very much connected in theme. Us three, having various styles and influences growing up, ended up creating something we feel is quite it’s own. We know where we feel the influence when we hear it, but the end product always sounds unique and fresh. There are moments scattered throughout the album that bring out strong emotions, whether that belonging, confusion, sadness, anger, or understanding, and we believe it finally arrives at acceptance with the crescendo at the very end of the album on “Argentine.” This album has something for everyone in both musical taste and emotional connection and we hope you all enjoy it.”
The track list on the album includes:
3. Hard Knot
4. Better Island
7. Whelmed (Interlude)
8. Catching Me in Stride
9. Lazy Radio
12. Wake With Me
