RtA and Machine Gun Kelly Collaborate Custom “Hotel Diablo” Capsule Collection

Highly-coveted Los Angeles fashion label, RtA Brand partners with hip-hop star Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) to celebrate the launch of his new album Hotel Diablo.

To help kick off the launch, MGK will be doing a personal appearance at RtA’s flagship store in West Hollywood Ca, this Sunday, July 14 at 4:00pm. Additionally, the Barneys New York and Beverly Hills locations will unveil the capsule collection on the same day.

The RtA X MGK capsule collection will consist of three limited-edition styles and artwork all inspired by his new album, lyrics, and world tour Hotel Diablo. The celebrated rapper spent the past two month faithfully teasing the project with records, “Hollywood Whore,” “el diablo” and the standout single “I Think I’m OKAY” featuring newcomer Yungblud and Blink 182’s Travis Barker.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Machine Gun Kelly has been hard at work showing off his acting chops in two major Netflix releases, Bird Box and the Motley Crue biopic, The Dirt. MGK was also featured on the Motley Crue’s track “The Dirt (Est. 1981)” which appears on the film’s soundtrack. Fans can catch MGK live when he resumes Hotel Diablo World Tour in August following his annual EST Fest in Butler, OH on August 2-3.

The goal of the collaboration was to create items that had both the RTA and MGK signature feel to it. The jeans are embroidered with lyrics from the album, while the tops are a modern take on vintage rock t-shirts. There is a large white box on the bottom of each top, so MGK can personally sign them for his fans. The goal was to create elevated vintage rock and roll pieces that can essentially be personalized memorabilia.

The RtA X MGK “Hotel Diablo” collaboration will be available in limited released quantities at www.rtabrand.com, the Barneys New York and Beverly Hills stores, and the RtA West Hollywood flagship store. Retail price range: $145-$325.

Jax Jones “Harder” Featuring Bebe Rexha

Fresh from his latest single ‘One Touch’ with Jess Glynne, two-time BRIT Award nominated DJ/producer Jax Jones is back with yet another collaboration in the form of ‘Harder’ with pop powerhouse Bebe Rexha. Out today via Polydor/Interscope Records, stream and download ‘Harder’ here.

In typical Bebe style the lyrics on ‘Harder’ showcase her sass and sharp wit underpinned by the infectious dance and pop beats Jax is synonymous for. ‘Harder’ offers an empowering and self-assured message on how to handle love that is frank but yet fun.

Collectively both Bebe and Jax have set the charts on fire with a succession of award-winning collaborations although ‘Harder’ is the pair’s first joint record. With both boasting an impressive back catalogue of hits, the release of ‘Harder’ is all set to bring their legions of loyal fans together providing the perfect soundtrack to summer.

Speaking of the single Jax said “Me and Camille have a great relationship and we’ve enjoyed a lot of success together – ‘All Day and Night’ and ‘Ring Ring’ – so to join forces with her and Steve Mac, who I’ve looked up to for a long time, was a great opportunity for me to try something different and flex my pop muscles. Bebe Rexha linking up with us on this record was the icing on the cake, she’s pretty iconic and is just a don. ‘All Day and Night’ was for the clubs, this one’s the daytime snack”.

Having just completed a SNACKS residency at Ibiza Rock last month, Jax Jones will be joining Zedd on his North American headlining “Orbit” tour, kicking off September 7 in Los Angeles at the LA Historic Park. See US tour dates below.

Chicago’s R&B Ann Marie Releases Pretty Psycho

Hailing from the Southside of Chicago, rising R&B star Ann Marie has released a new body of work; her debut Interscope project titled Pretty Psycho. Clocking in at eleven songs with a superstar feature from Jeremih, Pretty Psycho is the follow up to Ann Marie’s Tripolar 2 project released earlier this year which shot up to #3 on the Apple Music R&B charts. About Ann Marie

Ann Marie hails from Englewood, a neighbourhood on the South Side of Chicago. Releasing consistent bodies of work alongside her collaborative work, the 23 year old steadily built a legion of fans over the past three years. She hit it big with “Handle It,” which came off Tripolar, her third body of work following Unfuckwithable and her self-titled debut Ann Marie. The song went on to rack up over 10 Million plays on Apple Music. 2019 kicked off with a bang for Ann Marie with smash single “Secret,” on follow up project Tripolar 2. The slinky R&B track featured rapper YK Osiris and accumulated over 35 Million views on Youtube in less than 5 months. With her raw storytelling and honey-like tones, Ann Marie began to see her numbers grow. Now based out of Atlanta, the young artist has already accumulated over 700,000 subscribers on Youtube which landed her a spot on the platform’s Foundary Artists list (Youtube’s artist development program). Now celebrating over 100,000 streams per day on Apple Music, an additional 450k+ streams on Spotify, Ann Marie has earned her place as one of music’s most intriguing new artists.

Pi’erre Bourne “The Life of Pi’erre 4”

One of the most innovative forces in the rap game today, Pi’erre Bourne takes his artistry to whole new heights on his long-awaited new project The Life of Pi’erre 4, out now on SossHouse/ Interscope Records. With every song written, produced, engineered, and arranged all on his own, the album again shows the uncompromising originality he’s revealed in producing Billboard Hot 100 hits like Playboi Carti’s double-platinum smash “Magnolia,” and Travis Scott’s “Watch” ft. Lil Uzi Vert and Kanye West. Praised by Complex for “redefining trap music,” the 25-year-old artist/producer now brings his creative integrity to a lo-fi yet high-energy sound that’s emotionally powerful and entirely unpredictable.

Check out Drake showing love for Pi’erre’s new project below:

Tomorrow, Pi’erre will be hosting a show live on NTS Radio at 12pm PST. Listen here: https://www.nts.live

Born in Kansas under the name Jordan Jenks, Pi’erre lived between the Carolinas and Belize during his childhood. He also spent a great deal of time in Queens, New York, where an uncle taught him to use FruityLoops and encouraged him to start making his own music while Pi’erre was still in elementary school. Pi’erre later studied music engineering at the SAE Institute in Atlanta, and soon earned significant cash by recording for local artists. After making his name as a producer, he landed an engineering job at Epic Records, where he quickly found himself in high demand among fast-rising artists like Young Nudy.

During his time at Epic, Pi’erre dedicated his off-hours to working on his own projects, dropping the first installment of his Life of Pi’erre series in September 2016. With both The Life of Pi’erre 2 and The Life of Pi’erre 3 arriving in the next few months, he left Epic at the end of that year in order to devote more time to his own music. As he continued producing for artists like Jay Critch, Big Sean, and Playboi Carti, Pi’erre moved forward with the making of The Life of Pi’erre 4, and in late 2017 scored an artist deal with Interscope Records.

Since signing with Interscope, Pi’erre has toured with the likes of Drake, Nudy, and Carti, in addition to launching SossHouse (his own Interscope imprint,) and generating buzz with recent singles like “Hacked My Instagram” and “Marie Curie.” In the midst of bringing The Life of Pi’erre 4 to life, he also teamed up with Nudy for the critically acclaimed album Sli’merre—a May 2019 release named one of the year’s best rapper/producer collaborations by Pitchfork, who hailed Pi’erre as “one of the most interesting contemporary rap producers.”

Shenseea

Jamaican dancehall princess Shenseea descended into Los Angeles this weekend for BET Awards; a pit stop in between the performer’s packed out touring schedule. The Interscope signee stopped by her label’s pre-BET Award party and showed out in a pink panther inspired look that left the industry packed room wanting for more. Since releasing her debut label single “Blessed” — now with over 15 Million plays across platforms — the singer/songwriter has been busy traveling the Americas and Caribbean for live performances which culminates in New York next month at MOMA PS1’s “Warm Up” series on Saturday, July 20th.
Praise for Shenseea and “Blessed”:
“Amplified by pounding production that fuses the energetic vibes found in Latin trap and dancehall… [Shensea’s] name will now be on the tip of everyone’s tongues.” — Billboard
“Dancehall artist Shenseea is making a mark with her fiery rhythmic sound and for her new single, “Blessed…”  — Hypebeast
“Rising Jamaican dancehall star Shenseea turns a popular hashtag into a certified hip-swiveling banger.” — PAPER
“The bass-heavy track was produced by Rvssian, and is dripping with energy as the rising star oozes self-confidence from start to finish.” — VIBE

ABOUT SHENSEEA
In less than three years, Shenseea has ascended through Jamaica’s dancehall ranks to become one of the genre’s most sought-after artists. Known for her alluring style and bold delivery of patois rhymes, (called deejaying in Jamaican parlance) Shenseea has already worked with some of dancehall’s top acts. Her 2016 collaboration with dancehall luminary Vybz Kartel, “Loodi,” established Shenseea’s fame throughout Jamaica and the Caribbean. Garnering millions of views on her Youtube channel, Shenseea continued to release music that were instant hits that also worked to empower females, female sexuality while staying true to her Jamaican roots — singles like “Pon Mi,” “Trending Gyal” and “Shenyeng Gang” can be heard loud throughout the islands. Since her initial rise, Shenseea has brought her enigmatic energy and performances to sold out shows and festivals across the Caribbean and internationally. The 22-year old artist is currently at work on her debut album, a collaboration with renowned hit maker, Rvssian marking a huge move to take over the globe with her pop star appeal.
Born Chinsea Lee in Mandeville, Jamaica, Shenseea and her family moved to Kingston, the island’s capital, and the epicenter of reggae and dancehall music, when she was three years old. Like so many great Jamaican vocalists before her, Shenseea developed her love of music while singing in church; throughout her childhood and early teens, primarily listening to American pop and hip-hop; it was during her high school years that she discovered dancehall reggae, and her affinity for performing it. She began posting her renditions of American and Jamaican artists’ songs on her social media pages and received widespread encouragement. In January 2019, Shenseea officially signed to Rvssian’s Rich Immigrants label, a joint venture with Interscope Records.

X Ambassadors “Orion”

Multi-platinum selling rock band X Ambassadors released their new album ORION June 14th on KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records.  X Ambassadors worked with a crew of trusted producers among them Ricky Reed, Andrew Wells, Jayson DeZuzio,  and Rodney Jerkins, on their sophomore release. The band released “BOOM,” the first track off ORION in January and leading up to the new album gave fans a taste of what’s to come with the songs “HEY CHILD” and current single “HOLD YOU DOWN.”

X Ambassadors will perform album release shows in five cities (Boston, New York, Toronto, St. Louis and Chicago) where they will showcase new material from ORION plus fan favorites. The band recently announced a fall headline tour. For a complete list of tour dates, and to purchase tickets, visit  www.xambassadors.com.

X Ambassadors‘ debut platinum selling album VHS saw the band transition from Ithaca alt-rockers and Brooklyn indie scene outsiders, to Billboard stalwarts. The album was an intimate insight into Sam Harris and his brother Casey Harris’ youth studded with audio snippets from home movies, and early recording sessions and sound checks. With it, came the genre-defining hits “Unsteady” and “Renegades,” a three-year global touring odyssey and a string of high-profile festival performances. Harris’ songwriting became increasingly personal resulting in the shattering, shimmering 2018 singles “JOYFUL” and “Don’t Stay” followed by a North American headline tour. Always looking to give back to the community that raised them X Ambassadors returned to Ithaca for the second annual Cayuga Sound Festival this past September creating and curating two days of musical performances and raising money for local charities.  In 2019 X Ambassadors released “BOOM,” a quick-fire anthem for emphatic recovery and personal revolutions. The artwork for “BOOM” is written in Braille and designed in a yellow-on-black colorway. For Casey Harris, the band’s keyboardist and Sam Harris’ brother, who was born blind, it is the first physical manifestation of his work that he has been able to experience visually. He has just 10% of his vision.

Billy Raffoul Releases “Easy Tiger”

Singer/songwriter Billy Raffoul releases a new song today.  “Easy Tiger” follows the release of Raffoul’s Running Wild EP which came out on Interscope Records at the end of April as the singer began a tour supporting Parachute. “Easy Tiger” is available now at all digital retailers. Listen to “Easy Tiger” HERE.

Raffoul recently released “The Making of Running Wild” a look inside the recording session for his sophomore album featuring video footage of the session, as well as behind the scenes, fly-on-the-wall footage and studio stills. All pieces were shot, pieced together and edited by Jesse Deflorio. Watch the clip HERE.

Growing up in the small farming town of Leamington, Ontario, Raffoul first started writing songs at age 10, thanks in no small part to the influence of his father—a musician who’s opened for everyone from Joe Cocker to Bon Jovi. After landing his first paying gig—playing to long-haul drivers at a local truck stop—Raffoul began playing at nearby bars and clubs at age 16, often driving into Detroit for shows. He eventually connected with a manager and moved down to Nashville to push forward with his music career. Soon after scoring a deal with Interscope Records, Raffoul released the critically hailed song “Driver”and followed that with his debut EP 1975 in June 2018 which featured the fan favorite “Acoustic.” Critical praise followed with NPR raving, “Billy Raffoul has stepped into the spotlight.” Over the past few years, Raffoul has opened for heavyweight artists like, Kings of Leon, X Ambassadors, NEEDTOBREATHE and Kale, captivating crowds with his understated yet intensely passionate stage presence.

See below for a complete list of remaining Billy Raffoul tour dates supporting Parachute. Raffoul is hitting stages with a stripped-back performance currently featuring only Raffoul, his guitar, and his drum pedals.
