The Weeknd has shared the music video for his global hit “Blinding Lights” and will be performing the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tomorrow night with a special performance. The song launched with the Mercedes-Benz EQC campaign for which The Weeknd served as creative director, and he also performed the song as part of a creatively unprecedented two-night musical takeover on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in December.

Two of the greatest pioneers of reggaetón, Nicky Jam and Daddy Yankee get back together after 20 years apart to give life to “Muévelo”, an explosive track that promises to take over the radio and digital platforms this year. 

For over 20 years, Nicky Jam and Daddy Yankee fans have been waiting for “Los Cangris” to release a new explosive record together. The wait is finally over, and on January 8th a new hit will make history in the urban genre.   

The expected musical reunion happened under the production of GRAMMY®-winning brothers Play-N-Skillz (Juan and Oscar Salinas), with support from their labels Sony Music Latin and El Cartel Records. Additionally, the single features an interpolation of a fragment of the song “Here Comes the Hotstepper” by Ini Kamoze, which recalls the golden age of Reggae, specifically in 1994. “Muevelo” will also be part of the soundtrack of the film “Bad Boys For Life” to be released in theaters this January 17, 2020. 

“Yankee is my battle brother, the past does not define who we are today, and making our fans happy is the main driver of this collaboration,” says Nicky Jam. 

Both artists worked closely on the composition of the single, which they present with its own music video filmed with a cinematic concept in the emblematic streets of Downtown Miami, Florida. 

Under the direction of the experienced director Marlon Peña, Nicky Jam and Daddy Yankee present a video with a dynamic performance and shocking action scenes, inspired by street culture with an apocalyptic air.

Former President Barack Obama ranked Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road (Billy Ray Cyrus Remix),” a song also included on his Summer Playlist, as one of his favorite songs of the year.

“Silver Bells,” featuring the dynamic trio made up of multi-platinum GRAMMY® winners Amy Grant and Michael W. Vevo announces the release of H.E.R.’s live performance of “Slide.” Presented anonymously, contemporary R&B artist H.E.R. (Having Everything Revealed) surfaced in 2016 with H.E.R., Vol. 1, an EP of downcast post-breakup material that sounded both vulnerable and assured, much like what followed from the singer and songwriter. The seven-track EP appeared on major-label RCA in September 2016 with limited promotion, but labelmates Alicia Keys and Bryson Tiller spread the word through social media, and a cover of Drake’s “Jungle” helped send the set to number 28 on Billboard’s R&B/hip-hop chart. A similarly styled follow-up, H.E.R., Vol. 2, arrived in June 2017 and debuted at number 22. The EPs were soon combined and expanded, released as H.E.R., with six additional cuts — including “Best Part,” a number 32 R&B/hip-hop hit previously heard on Daniel Caesar’s Freudian — referred to as B-sides.
