Shy Glizzy’s New Music Video

Since his 2018 Grammy nomination for “Crew,Shy Glizzy returned this October with his critically-acclaimed EP, Fully Loaded and now he is dropping his new music video “Wavy.”

The Miami-based visuals follow his summer hit with Tory Lanez and Gunna, “Do You Understand.” Shy Glizzy first gained notoriety for his 2014 party hits, “White Girl” and “Awwsome.” Along with co-signs from Beyonce, the 2015 XXL Freshman, Shy Glizzy has experienced an huge amount of success with his feature on Goldlink’s “Crew” reaching #45 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned the self-proclaimed ‘King of DC’ his first Grammy nomination in 2018.

In his first release since his 2018 Grammy nominated, multi-platinum single “Crew” and his December mixtape Quiet Storm, Shy Glizzy joins forces with Toronto’s Tory Lanez and Atlanta phenomenon Gunna for a hot new single, “Do You Understand.” The 25 year-old rapper also announced his new mixtape, Ain’t For Everybody coming this summer.
The three power houses come together for a hustlers-only summer anthem. Reminiscent of Quiet Storm’s dynamic melodies and effortless verses, “Do You Understand” is as energetic, as it is charismatic. Glizzy takes control of the hook with his unforgettable sound, as Tory and Gunna each shoot their shot with witty verses filled with harmonic vigor.

Renee Olstead

Olstead has worked tirelessly on her new music and is excited to share her classy country record with the world. The song is a cover from legend Sammi Smith, written by Kris Kristofferson in 1970. Olstead was recently nominated for a 59th Annual Grammy for Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals for the song “Do You Want to Know a Secret.” She was also nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture and a Grammy for Best Arrangement for “Summertime” from her self-titled debut album (produced by 16-time Grammy Award Winner David Foster). Olstead also recently starred as the love interest of Evan Peters in The Grand Southern’s latest music video “Traded Heaven.” It premiered exclusively on Billboard and you can view it here. Olstead is no stranger to Hollywood. Her breakout role was playing Madison Cooperstein on ABC Family’s hit show The Secret Life of the American Teenager. The show ran for five seasons and boasts several People’s Choice & Teen Choice Award nominations. Her dedicated fan base has earned her a large social media presence with a verified Twitter of over 81,000 Twitter followers, and an verified Instagram of over 68,000 followers.

Olstead has also had huge success on the big screen. She played Jess Felton in the hit Universal Pictures film, UNFRIENDED which grossed over $42 million worldwide with only a budget of $1 million. The popularity and fan following earned the film a People’s Choice Award nomination for Favorite Thriller Movie.

Despite her busy schedule, Olstead is dedicated to leading a healthy and active lifestyle. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, musician Tommy King, and their two amazing rescue dogs.
