Arin Ray New Visual

Singer-songwriter and producer, Arin Ray (Interscope Records), has just released the sensual video for his song, “A Seat,” directed by Keemotion. Arin shows off his romantic side, as he sets the scene for his woman; replete with roses, champagne and a love note containing the lyrics to the song’s first verse. It is just another side to the Cincinnati-artist whose body of work features everything from love songs, party anthems and street-geared tracks. You can watch the video for “A Seat” HERE.

Arin Ray will headline three shows this November in Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York City, as he continues to promote his new releases as well as his debut album, Platinum Fire. The album features a number of high-profile guests, including Babyface, YG, Childish Major and Terrace Martin and received high praise for its nuanced blend of hip hop, R&B and jazz. The album spawned singles, “Communication,” “Reckless” and “We Ain’t Homies” with YG. Arin has continued to release new music throughout 2019 and is currently promoting the 90s flavored single, “Change” featuring Kehlani, check out the video HERE.

Arin Ray, Kehlani

Arin Ray × Kehlani

Last week Arin Ray and Kehlani impressed R&B listeners with their tantalizing collaboration “Change”. Now, the pair has teamed up to create a nostalgic and sultry visual to accompany the track. The video’s throwback aesthetic and coloring, beautifully mesh with the song to create a heartfelt nod to classic rhythm and blues. Check out the Miles & AJ directed visual HERE.

Arin is particularly excited about this video, noting in his recent interview with Billboard, “I’ve had some dope videos in the past, but this one, as far as creativity and doing things differently, this is the one.”

It’s this kind of artistic integrity that has allowed Ray to blossom into a full-fledged artist who also writes and produces most of his own material.  In December 2018, the classically trained vocalist released Platinum Fire [Deluxe] and initiated a healthy buzz with back-to-back bangers, “Roses” and “Reckless.”  Ray has since continued to spread the love and grow his audience by touring across the United States.

The single “Change” is now available on all digital retailers via Interscope Records.

About DJ Megan Ryte

As a young woman in the music industry, Megan’s hustle, determination, and skill have been key to her steady rise from DJ to breakout star. Although she’s dealt with her fair share of adversity, those challenges have not only added to her story, but taught her the necessary lessons to achieve success. Prior to making her radio debut, Megan began building her name as a club DJ in Virginia while she was still a teenager.  Knowing she had to leave her hometown to chase her big dreams, she traveled the world as a tour DJ, then moved around the country doing radio and gaining fans in a number of major cities, including Houston, Miami, DC, Philly, and — currently – NYC’s Hot 97. Through the years, Megan has continued to expand her media brand by emerging as a TV host, writer, and now artist. You can catch the Heavy Hitter DJ on Hot 97 weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“We Ain’t Homies”

Interscope Records’ R&B artist Arin Ray is proving that he’s what R&B has been missing. A powerful nuanced blend of new and old school sounds, his debut album, Platinum Fire, was not only adored by fans but praised by critics. Directed by Dad, Arin Ray is releasing his first visual of the year for “We Ain’t Homies” featuring YG. The video for this track takes a simple and stylized approach that compliments the complexities of Arin’s vocals. Check out the visual for “We Ain’t Homies” HERE.

The Cincinnati native released his debut EP, Phases, in 2016; four years after first gaining popularity on the hit show X Factor. Platinum Fire has received raves from VIBE, Billboard Magazine, and Hot New Hip Hop and has marked the beginning of a busy year for Ray. With big plans for the rest of 2018, only time will tell what success Arin Ray can aspire to.

Arin Ray Enlist Dram for His New Single Communication

Interscope Records recording artist Arin Ray releases his second single, “Communication,” which is now available at all digital retailers. The Cincinnati crooner nabs platinum hit-maker DRAM for his new record about love. “Communication” finds newcomer Arin Ray singing over a pop-leaning R&B beat courtesy of producer Childish Major (Future/J. Cole.). The message which strings together his list of promises to his new lover is tightly held together by soothing guitar baselines and drumkits. The singer/songwriter pens, “I know better than to cheat / you deserve the best from me.”

The Midwest-born singer released his YG assisted track “We Ain’t Homies,” in December and joined H.E.R on The Lights On tour. The upcoming album has recruited some heavy hitting producers such as Terrace Martin (Kendrick Lamar), Nez and Rio (A$AP Rocky/ScHoolboy Q). Last year proved to be a promising year for the young talent who shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. You can catch Arin Ray performing Valentine’s Day in Los Angeles with Victoria Monet.

ARIN RAY RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE — “WE AIN’T HOMIES” — TODAY VIA ALL DIGITAL PARTNERS

TRACK IS FIRST SINGLE FROM SINGER-SONGWRITER’S UPCOMING PROJECT

Arin Ray releases his debut single, “We Ain’t Homies,” today via all digital partners. Ray wrote and produced the track himself along with producers F Keys and his brother Chuckie. The FADER debuted the song yesterday here.
“It’s a chill, laid-back record, something you can ride to,” Ray says. “It’s about people being fake, coming up talking like, ‘Oh yeah, man, you’re so dope, I wanna work with you,’ when you know they’re hating on you from afar. There’s always the one person who just wants to be in the conversation because it’s hot right now, but you know they don’t have your back at the end of the day. I think anyone can relate to the song, it’s everyday life.”
“We Ain’t Homies” is the first single to be released from the Cincinnati-born singer and songwriter’s upcoming debut project, which finds him working with producers Terrace Martin (Kendrick Lamar), Nez and Rio (A$AP Rocky), and Childish Major (Future, J. Cole) to refocus . Ray has crafted a polished body of boundary-pushing tracks that incorporate everything from steel guitars to saxophones, glistening synths to gutsy, bluesy riffs.
Ray was born with music in his blood. His father was the drummer for early ‘90s new jack swing groups New Edition, Bell Biv DeVoe, and the Babyface-fronted After 7, and his aunt sang background vocals for Marvin Gaye. “This is my calling,” he says. “I think I come with something fresh. My music has that old-school feel, but still has that new bounce. There are some great artists out there pushing the culture forward. I wanna be one of them.”
