Meg The Stallion drops cover art and track listing for “Fever”

With her forthcoming project, “Fever” slated to drop May 17 via 1501 Certified / 300 Entertainment, Megan Thee Stallion is poised to be the next huge hip hop artist.

The Houston based artist has graced every one to watch list you can think of and has gotten praise from Pitchfork, FADER, Billboard, Refinery29 and more and was named First Lady of 300 Entertainment by COMPLEX Magazine.

Multi-platinum, electronic dance music trio CHEAT CODES  (comprised of Trevor Dahl, Matthew Russell and Kevi Ford) have teamed up with Afrojack for the huge new track, “Ferrari”, taken from their forthcoming EP, “Level 2”. The bass-heavy track blends dance and hip hop sensibilities that break into an anthemic chorus, drenched with Cheat Codes signature electronic textures that have seen them become one of the fastest growing pop and dance acts, garnering over 2 billion streams.

The monumental track is over a year in the making- Matt of Cheat Codes explains: “We met up with Afrojack in the studio over a year ago, we wanted to figure out how we could blend our two sounds into something cohesive. We first heard the drop and knew it was something we could come together on. A lot of the process was back and forth through email sending demos. Gonna have to hit the stage together at some point because the clubs are gonna love this one.”

The dance-floor ready anthem is juxtaposed by it’s dark lyrical narrative that ultimately tells the tale of a missteps in a relationship. Matt adds, “Ferrari is that moment when you really mess up in a relationship and have to overcompensate to try and make it better”

“Ferrari” comes in the wake of another exciting year for Cheat Codes. Meg Myers Releases New Album

Meg Myers’ new album ‘Take Me To The Disco’ is out today on 300 Entertainment and has been met with raves, leading the Associated Press to declare her “a genuine rock goddess,” saying “Myers definitely isn’t fooling around and there’s no denying the woman’s sheer talent, both as a songwriter and as a singer who can go from kittenish to face-melting in the same song.” The new album has also earned Meg a pick on NPR’s New Music Friday podcast, and praise from the New York Times, who dubbed Meg’s sound “seething and then exploding,” and Billboard, who called the new music “cathartic” and “life affirming.”

Young Thug

Hip-hop superstar, Young Thug releases his latest EP, Hear No Evil via 300 Entertainment, Atlantic Records, and YSL Records. The 3-song EP that features appearances from Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert, and 21 Savage.
After taking a vow of “musical” silence, Thug has now decided to release music and an accompanying sign language video for “Anybody Ft. Nicki Minaj” in honor of his deaf brother and fans with hearing impairments.
Hear No Evil is Young Thug’s first project of 2018 since his collaborative mixtape with Future, Super Slimey. Along with starring in a star-studded Adidas campaign, Thug reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts because of his contributions to Camila Cabello’s breakout single, “Havana.” Just last year, Young Thug received an MTV Video Music Award for his brilliant “Wyclef Jean” music video and released the critically-acclaimed Beautiful Thugger Girls EP.

Legendary reggae musician, Shaggy teamed up with Canadian crooner, Massari to release their new record, “Why” via 300 Entertainment and Brooklyn Knights Entertainment. With an accompanying lyric video, “Why” is an uptempo club jam with a smooth chorus.

“Why” comes shortly after Shaggy released his brassy reggae record with Sting, “Don’t Make Me Wait.” The surprise duo are gearing up to release their collaborative album, 44/876 via A&M/Interscope Records. After a string of performances and appearances on the 60th Anniversary Grammy Awards and Good Morning America, the two Grammy winners will embark on a European tour this summer.

Shaggy’s legacy in entertainment goes beyond reggae music. Hip-hop superstars A$AP Rocky and Famous Dex came together once again to finally drop the long anticipated music video for their hot single, “Pick It Up.”

The AWGE/Hidji Films directed visuals took place in New Jersey with Dex and A$AP submerged in an crazy flea market, surrounded with beautiful women and bootleg fashions. The FKi produced record was released in October of 2017 exclusively with Complex. Along with the premiere, Dex announced his debut album, Dex Meets Dexter. The instant success of “Pick It Up” shouldn’t come as a surprise as Complex called the record “exciting,” XXL referred to it as a, “potential club banger,” and Hot New Hip-Hop stated, “The song itself certainly lives up to the hype, and both rappers play to their strengths.”

After a few short weeks, the song entered the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Now the record is certified Gold, currently sits at #77 on the Billboard Hot 100, and has over 93 million total streams.

Since he splashed on the scene in 2015, Famous Dex has had the Internet talking. After signing with 300 Entertainment and Rich the Kid’s Rich Forever label imprint, Dex released viral hits like “Drip From My Walk” and “Hit Em Wit It.” The Chicago native soon caught the attention of A$AP Ferg, appearing on two records from his latest mixtape, Still Striving.
