Today, Jon Bellion revealed the official video for his current single, “Stupid Deep.” The New York-based artist partnered with director Daniel Brown (ODESZA, Portugal. Bellion will launch an extensive North American amphitheater tour on June 12 at The Met in Philadelphia. The summer headline run, produced by Live Nation, will include a July 12 concert at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre and an August 10 hometown show at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater on Long Island. “Stupid Deep” is from Bellion’s new album, Glory Sound Prep (Capitol Records/Visionary Music Group), which includes collaborations with GRAMMY-winning producer Quincy Jones, Roc Marciano, RZA, B.Keyz and Travis Mendes. Billboard said, “Bellion seamlessly intertwines sounds of pop, R&B, hip-hop and rock through his electrifying songs.” AllMusic praised it as “Epic in scope” and noted, “Glory Sound Prep sees Jon Bellion again alternating effervescent dance-pop, melodic reflections, and more fractured, urgent hip-hop. This time, he draws on an even broader sound palette that incorporates synths, strings, horns and more.”

Glory Sound Prep is the follow-up to his RIAA Gold-certified 2016 debut album, The Human Condition, which has sold more than 1.5 million adjusted albums and amassed upwards of 1.7 billion cumulative streams. “All Time Low,” the lead single, was a Top 10 hit at Top 40 radio and is now certified 3x Platinum.

Bellion got his start with a series of mixtapes featuring his original songs all recorded in his parents’ basement. He built a remarkable following by sharing his music directly with listeners, giving away more than 200,000 free downloads of 2014’s The Definition and playing live for fans on two sold-out national tours. Also a sought-after collaborator, Bellion co-wrote and produced “Trumpets” for Jason Derulo and co-wrote the GRAMMY Award winning, 10x-Platinum hit “The Monster” for Eminem and Rihanna. He co-wrote and co-produced Christina Aguilera’s 2018 single, “Fall in Line” featuring Demi Lovato.

Gentleman, start your engines! The
 Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix presented by Lear races into the Motor City for its 30th year May 31-June 2. New this year–paddock access for all ticketholder, so you can get close to teams and drivers in the garage area and experience the excitement of the winner’s circle.

There are few better ways to spend a summer afternoon than at the ballpark. Root for the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park, with games April through October. At Jimmy John’s Field in Utica, Mich., the United Shore Professional Baseball League delivers a fun family entertainment experience and great value.

The PGA comes to Detroit for the first time this June 24-30 for the PGA Tour Rocket Mortgage Classic at the Detroit Golf Club. Related attractions and festivities are planned throughout the city.

The third annual Detroit Cycling Championship rolls into town July 13. Top cyclists from across the country race through a downtown course to compete for top prize. 

The Xenith Prep Kickoff Classic, hosted August 29-31 at Wayne State University in Detroit, is Michigan’s season-opening high school football event. This event showcases some of the Midwest’s top student-athletes, with multiple games happening on a single day.

 

Summer Music
Detroit Music Weekend happens June 7-9 in the city’s entertainment district and nearby cultural organizations, restaurants and retail establishments. Free music, dance and theater performances showcase up-and-coming artists. 

Detroit’s own Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band bring their farewell tour to DTE Energy Music Theater June 6, 8 and 12. The hits keep on coming all summer long, with tour stops by Thomas Rhett, June 20; Rascal Flats, Sept. 19 and Jason Aldean, Sept. 28. Rob Thomas plays Meadow Brook Amphitheater June 1. Stadium concerts at the new Little Caesar’s Arena this summer include Jennifer Lopez, July 5; Queen & Adam Lambert, July 27 and Shawn Mendes, Aug. 5. 

Arts, Beats & Eats in Royal Oak this Labor Day weekend (Aug. 30-Sept. 2) is heavy on the beats, with performances by local and national acts from a variety of music genres. Stroll through rows of paintings, sculptures and photography by talented artisans and grab some grub in a food tent or one of several local restaurants. 

The Detroit Jazz Festival on Labor Day weekend (Aug. 30-Sept. 2) is the perfect way to close out the summer. Hundreds of international and local jazz acts perform on multiple stages throughout several city blocks in downtown Detroit. Best of all, it’s FREE.

 

Summer Events
The Ovation Yacht’s 8-date Summer Cruise Series returns, starting with A Night in Havannah-themed cruise of the Detroit River June 4.

The Motor City Pride Festival draws 40,000 participants to Hart Plaza to celebrate LGBTQ pride June 8-9, with a parade through downtown on Sunday.

GM River Days—an annual celebration of Detroit’s Riverwalk taking place June 21-23, with activities on both land and water offers fun for all ages. 

The Ford Fireworks light up the night sky over the Detroit River June 24. This awesome international display dazzles thousands of families in both Detroit and Windsor. 

Hydroplane racing has been a summer tradition on the Detroit River for more than 100 years. This year’s Spirit of Detroit Hydrofest, Aug. 23-25, will feature H1 Unlimited hydroplanes reaching 200 mph along with automotive powered HRL Grand Prix hydroplanes topping speeds of 150 mph. This new format has not been seen in the modern era of the sport, bringing an additional level of excitement to this year’s event. Free Friday testing and qualifying, with race days Saturday and Sunday.

The Michigan State Fair mixes rides, games, agriculture and farm animals for a whole lot of family fun Aug. 29 – Sept. 2 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.

No visit to the Motor City would be complete without a taste of The D’s automotive heritage. Events like Eyes on Design Automotive Design Exhibition, June 16 at Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores; Concours d’ Elegance of America, at Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth, July 26-28 or the nostalgic Woodward Dream Cruise, Aug. 17 in Oakland County are some of the most popular ways to immerse yourself in the local car culture.

 

Summer Fun
The Detroit Zoo is one of Detroit’s most visited attractions. Major exhibits include the Arctic Ring of Life, Australian Outback Adventure, Great Apes of Harambee, National Amphibian Conservation Center, Holden Reptile Conservation Center, Polk Penguin Conservation Center and Butterfly Garden.

Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation inspires year-round with stories of America’s greatest inventors. See the Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds exhibit May 11 – Sept. 2. The Henry Ford’s Greenfield Village, 80-acres of immersive American history, opens for the season April 14. While exploring seven historic districts, visitors can ride in a Model T or a real steam-powered locomotive, watch 1867 baseball or enjoy a meal from an 1830s lunch menu. Catch the Motor Muster, June 15-16.

Time travel to a 16th century English village, where you’ll meet knights, fire jugglers and sword swallowers at the Michigan Renaissance Fest, weekends mid-August through September.

MAD MUSEUM

The Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) presents an annual exhibition and sale of one-of-a-kind artisan jewelry called LOOT: MAD About Jewelry. Returning this spring (April 9 – 13), it will feature work from 55 artists from 18 countries (South Korea, UK, Finland, Chile, Scotland, Spain, France, Italy to name a few). These hand-picked artists specialize in different techniques and use unique materials such as glass, wood, metal, embroidery, horse hair and latex. Lexus IS 350 F Sport

As of late, 360 MAGAZINE took a road trip from Los Angeles to Palm Springs in the new 2019 Lexus IS 350 F Sport. The Friday midday drive took around 3 hours with heavy traffic and the Lexus handled like a dream, providing a comfortable and quiet ride.

With a red carpet ready exterior combined with the public presentation and speed of a cheetah, the $53,000 2019 Lexus IS 350 F Sport effortlessly combines luxury and performance. The clear and alluring looking vehicle makes a bold statement for Lexus brand sedans. The vehicle is intuitive and dynamic with brakes that feel stronger and suspension that feels tighter.

PERFORMANCE

The IS 350 F Sport gets a combined 23 mpg city/hwy. It uses 4.3 gallons per 100 miles. With a 311 horsepower and 280 pound-ft of torque, the Lexus leaps across the pavement, while maintaining a smooth ride. The vehicle is fitted out with a 3.5-liter V6 24-valve, dual overhead cam, direct injection, adaptive variable suspension and variable timing intelligent wide intake and exhaust. It boasts an 8-speed sport shift transmission with driving modes such as ECO, normal, sport and snow. The visibility and force in a car this size is impressive combined with less road vibration and responsive brakes. Very reminiscent of the 2003 Infiniti G35, Lexus really does it all in this 2019 IS 350 F Sport.

EXTERIOR

The appearance of the IS 350 F Sport combines dark chrome with a pronounced mesh grille which pairs nicely with its large black 18’’ split 5-spoke wheels. The motorcar is a compact and speed oriented vehicle enhanced with triple beam headlights.

INTERIOR

The inside holds a geometric style allowing for a sturdy yet cozy appearance. The sharp black interior is matched with leather and imitation grain wood paneling. It’s bolstered F Sport seating is heated and ventilated as well. In addition to its leather stitching, the left and right positions of the steering wheel are manually heated as well. This model comes with the classic F Sport gauge which which is controlled by the tinge of a button. Back seats fold down for additional storage, making the IS 350 F Sport the only Lexus Sedan model with the option.

SAFETY & TECHNOLOGY

The Lexus IS 350 F Sport received government 5-Star Safety Ratings in Overall Vehicle Score, Frontal Crash, Side and Rollover. It owes its safety capabilities mainly to the technology implanted into it.

Just a few aspects of the Lexus’s technology which works to ensure the safety of passengers are it’s blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert, it’s intuitive parking assist and the Lexus Enform Safety Connect & Service Connect. Other mentionable features include the Lexus Safety System+ which includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, high speed-dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist and intelligent high beam headlights. This model also takes into account the safety of our environment with a Fuel Economy & Greenhouse Gas Rating of 5 due to it’s eco mode gas saver. Due to this feature the 360 team was able to race from Los Angeles to Palm Springs and back with animalistic stamina and no need to refill the tank.

The IS 350 F Sport Model also comes equipped with a Mark Levinson audio which includes a navigation System with 10.3-in Color Multimedia Display, Mark Levinson 15 speaker and 835 Watt, 5.1-channel Surround Sound Audio System. In addition to the audio package the model comes with voice command, siri eyes free and Scout GPS Link TurnStrem(™).

CONCLUSION

The Lexus IS 350 F Sport is a vehicle made for successful self-motivated individuals who have a strong appreciation for extremely dynamic vehicles while additionally having the capabilities to comfortably seat five. Nevertheless, Lexus truly has found a means to win back car enthusiasts with this newly imagined entry level sports sedan.

OZUNA MAKES HISTORY WITH 23 NOMINATIONS

The OZUNA music phenomenon stands with the astonishing 23 nominations at the annual Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony in 2019. In this way, the Puerto Rican singer breaks records, becoming the most nominated artist during a single gala in all history of this prestigious award.

Paola Hernandez Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2019

The performers transitioned gracefully through dozens of choreographed formations like moving architecture, all styled in Paola Hernandez’s latest collection. For their Fall/Winter 2019 collection, the Paola Hernandez fashion label decided to tell their story through an impressive two-hour modern dance performance, innovatively marketing all the goods of their latest designs. The dancers from the Elisa Monte Dance company showed the practically of Paola Hernandez through motion and the brand’s message of inclusivity through the diversity of shapes and sizes.

Practically and urban minimalism were major highlights from Paola Hernandez’s fashion instillation; the models looked nothing less than sharp wearing jeans, detailed white sweaters, knit black sweaters, large cardigans, unique black dresses, tights, jumpers and blouses. The quality of fabric and fabric details seemed to be a major emphasis. The color pallet consisted of all neutral colors like black, grey and white; sometimes simplicity, when done with chic flair, can be a cheeky fashion statement.

Born in Mexico City, Paola Hernandez now manages her fashion line in Brooklyn, New York. Prior to studying fashion at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design in London, Hernandez studied philosophy, an educational background she uses as inspiration for her symbolic and contemporary fashion brand.
