Santa Monica Pride Bar Crawl

June 22 is officially the day to be gay in Santa Monica. Join us in painting our town with color at the FIRST EVER Santa Monica Pride Bar Crawl, hosted by iHeart Radio/HereTV’s On the Rock’s Alexander Rodriguez. The crawl encourages crawlers to love proudly and drink responsibly at some of Santa Monica’s most fabulous bars while raising money for the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
This exciting inaugural event kicks off on the historic Santa Monica Pier where the first 50 participants will receive a complimentary Kona Beer or Whiteclaw at the Pier 360 Paddleboard Race Beer Garden. From there, crawlers will shantey their way through the streets of downtown Santa Monica under miles of rainbow lights, sip on pride drink specials at participating locations and end at the official after party “Club Love” at 1212 Restaurant on the Third Street Promenade with The Abbey’s DJ Brynn Taylor, disco ball dance party, photo booth, and more.
Pride Crawl participants are encouraged to dress as freely as they wish to fully decorate the streets of Santa Monica with every color of the rainbow. There will be glitter face painting and flags and SaMo Pride swag passed out at the starting/check-in location. An Instagram costume contest will award the crawlers with the most impressive gear with special prizes (#SaMoPrideCrawl).
Participating locations include: Rusty’s Surf Ranch, 1212 Santa Monica, Barney’s Beanery, Cabo Cantina, Makai, Ye Olde King’s Head, Red O & Britannia who will have a karaoke party.
