Everything is ready for a new edition of the highly anticipated Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, where Maserati will be the main sponsor and official car of the tournament for the third year in a row.
From April 6 to 14, the most prestigious clay courts in the world – in the evocative setting of the Principality of Monaco – will attract the stars of international tennis; they are committed to putting on a unique show and to animating the most engaging competition between true champions.
Maserati, which has always been synonymous with refined sportiness, contemporary elegance, the best of Italian style, and high-level performance, has chosen to join the series again this year. It will be winning over the public off-court with two cars on display inside the Monaco Country Club and a fleet of Maseratis – Grecale, Levante, Ghibli, and Quattroporte – available to support the champions’ and Trident guest’s movements between matches at the tournament. The latter will also be offered test drives behind the wheel of the MC20 Coupe, MC20 Cielo, GranTurismo, and Grecale, immersing themselves in a glamorous experience.
The Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters will be the ideal stage to convey a sense of freedom and joie de vivre fully epitomized by cars such as the eye-catching Maserati MC20 Cielo and the latest arrival from the House of the Trident, the new drop-top Maserati GranCabrio Trofeo. Both represent a winning pair of cars with sublime performance, designed to savour all the best sensations that open-air driving can offer.
In the VIP Village area, the Maserati MC20 Cielo Opera d’arte will be catching attention during its first official public outing. The car – an authentic masterpiece on the move, made to one customer’s unique specifications – is a one-off creation inspired by abstract art. Created to enhance and share the artistic dynamism of the exclusive Maserati Fuoriserie customization program, the MC20 Cielo Opera d’arte was curated through a complex and refined process, produced by hand, and finely honed to bring to life a livery that becomes a modern canvas, where the brand’s past and future meet.
‘Creativity is intelligence having fun’ – an aphorism that perfectly encapsulates this unique version of the Trident’s most coveted super sports car – is a true declaration of artistic independence, inspiration, intuition, imagination, and superior ability to give shape to a dream. The Opera d’arte car is 100% made in Modena, built at the historic plant on Viale Ciro Menotti; for an entire year, the Fuoriserie team worked there in close collaboration with Maserati Centro Stile, creating a car that now forms the manifesto of the Modena-based company’s bespoke production house and highlights the best of Italian craftsmanship.
Simultaneously, the brand-new Maserati GranCabrio Trofeo will play a leading role in the Commercial Village. In late February, the Modena-based company launched the convertible version of the Trident’s iconic grand tourer, the Maserati GranTurismo, which features the powerful six-cylinder Nettuno internal combustion engine, known as the beating heart of the most adrenaline-pumping cars in the Trident range.
The elegant open-air version of its coupe twin, the Maserati GranCabrio Trofeo perfectly represents Italian luxury performance, providing unmatched comfort and style without sacrificing cutting-edge technology and masterful driving dynamics.
