As Covid regulations are decreasing and more and more people are getting vaccinated, regulations are starting to decrease and people are starting to go outside again, including to the local movie theatres. Regal Cinemas is reopening, and is also proud to announce 3 additional locations will open in the Los Angeles area, with one in Camarillo, one in Irvine, and one in Hemet. These theatres will open Friday, May 21.
Lionsgate’s Spiral, a horror movie and Saw spinoff, will headline the new movies including Angelina Jolie and Nicholas Hoult’s new thriller: Those Who Wish Me Dead and Guy Ritchie’s Wrath of Man along with a full slate of additional titles. Future releases opening in the coming weeks include A Quiet Place Part II, Cruella and F9.
Reopening plans include a wide range of health and safety measures that adhere to the CinemaSafe protocol and guidelines, which have been created by the National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) in order to help prevent Covid outbreaks in theatres.
