POWERS RELEASE VISUALIZER FOR “JUST KIDS”

An unshakable and unpredictable anthem of youth, “Just Kids” segues from a verse highlighting Crista’s delicate crooning into a tropical house-style drop and chantable hook. It’s the latest track to be released from the group after a string of unforgettable tracks released in 2017 including “Closer,” “Man On The Moon,” “Heavy” and “Dance.”
About the song, POWERS commented, “We were both still living in New York at the time, carving out our own existence with each other and the city when the initial seed of the song started. “Just Kids” was partially inspired after reading Patti Smith’s book of the same title and going through our own journey as Patti did in the 70’s. There’s something about undressing someone, figuratively- and in reality, that can feel so playful and eternal. Creativity and connection are what keep us taller children after all and we wanted to write a song about that.”

Previously in 2016, their infectious romper, “Beat of My Drum” shot up to the top of the Spotify Global Viral Chart and was featured as a lead song on campaigns for Garnier & Sprint. Following up with an equally impactful “Loved by You” and “Sunshine,” the band has reached over 60 million cumulative streams on Spotify, topped Hype Machine several times and received the coveted Emerging Artists Spotlight on iTunes.
