Oakley at the Olympics

Oakley continues to push the boundaries of performance and design with their latest release, which blends cutting-edge technology, innovative design, and a commitment to help Olympic athletes reach excellence.

For the Olympics, Oakley has transformed the Palais Brongniart in Paris into “The Oakley Exoplanetary Bunker,” a brutalist-inspired safehouse to honor and inspire athletes amidst the games. The bunker features immersive experiences such as The Oakley Muzm showcasing iconic products, an Innovation Area with the latest designs like QNTM Kato and Sphaera eyewear, and the Lens Cut Bar for custom eyewear creation. Additionally, it offers exclusive recovery and future-focused experiences, providing a unique environment for Team Oakley athletes and guests to reset and recharge from July 26 to August 11.

Inner Spark Collection

  • Inner Spark by Oakley is a collection inspired by athletes’ emotions, captured through a series of short films featuring world-class athletes. The collection includes Sphaera, BiSphaera, and Latch Panel eyewear, all designed with Prizm™ Lens Technology and lightweight frames for optimal performance. Each piece showcases a neuronic pad print in celeste blue with silver accents, set against a tennis ball yellow frame, complemented by Prizm Ruby lenses. The films and collection highlight the connection between mastering internal challenges and achieving outer performance, encouraging athletes to be their true selves.

WTR Icon

  • The WTR ICON helmet is another major Oakley innovation changing the surf industry. It will be new technology that will be debuted at the Paris Olympics as well. Featuring an EN-1385 white water certification and D3O® technology, the best-in-class helmet is made from strong Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and is designed to absorb impact, disperse energy, and reduce blunt force trauma. Its unique shell design prevents disorientation and drag in the water and with open ventilation, surfers can easily maneuver through and under water even while duck diving, allowing for immediate drainage upon reaching the surface

Team USA Offshore Collection

  • Oakley has launched the Team USA Offshore Collection to coincide with surfing’s return to the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, offering performance-driven apparel and eyewear for athletes to wear out of the water. This exclusive collection includes a range of items like windbreakers, tech fleece, convertible pants, and rashguards, designed with ergonomic seaming and premium fabrics for comfort and mobility. Inspired by ocean colors and reflections, the collection aims to blend style and functionality, empowering athletes and showcasing Team USA pride. Available this summer at select retail locations, the collection highlights Oakley’s commitment to excellence and innovation in sportswear.

Moonveil

  • Oakley Moonveil is a limited-edition collection that fuses elevated design and innovation to create a whole new genre of headgear. Moonveil made its debut in the animated Future Genesis short film as a holographic projection and is now brought to life. This boundary-pushing headgear combines eyewear and headwear, featuring a jet-black, knitted cloak with reflective yarn lines and interchangeable dual Prizm™ lens shields on a swivel system. The hyper-limited release includes just 100 serialized units, each accompanied by original concept sketches from Oakley product designers and the Future Genesis ashcan preview comic by Dark Horse.
