Myke Towers – La Pantera Negra

Global superstar Myke Towers releases “La Pantera Negra,” his sixth studio album, exploring his musical origins and the sounds that propelled his career nearly a decade ago. “La Pantera Negra” is now available on all digital platforms through Warner Music Latina.

In this record, Myke returns to his core and the rhythms that first won over his fans – rap and reggaeton – while breaking stereotypes in Latin music. With powerful melodies and lyrics, “La Pantera Negra” is the most ambitious album of his career, solidifying his status as a global star.

La Pantera Negra is a gift for those who’ve been there since day one. With this album, I wanted to return to my roots, my essence, to what I truly love doing musically,” said Myke. “This album represents maturity; the experiences I’ve lived have allowed me to expand my vocabulary, which has evolved my lyrics, my bars. It took months of work and long hours in the studio with Full Harmony, Benjamin Lasnier, and Ovy On The Drums. I stealthily let that black panther and its fury out in each of these songs. I hope you learn them quickly so we can sing them together soon on tour,” he added.

Lyrically, the album presents a mature Myke, showcasing his linguistic evolution and songwriting prowess across 20 tracks. Musically, the Puerto Rican star demonstrates his growth and hard work at the studio alongside renowned producers such as Full Harmony, Benjamin Lasnier and Ovy On The Drums.

The album’s lead single, “Adivino,” a groundbreaking collaboration with Bad Bunny, debuted at #12 on Spotify’s Global Chart. Less than a week after its release, the hit claimed the top spot on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Airplay chart.

La Pantera Negra” also features tracks like “La Primera Vez” with NTG and “Otra Noche” featuring Darell.

The album includes powerful collaborations with chart-topping artists such as Spanish singer Omar Montes on “Dinero y Fama” and Mexican star Peso Pluma on “Se Te Nota.” The collaboration with La Doble P was accompanied by a spectacular music video directed by Filmheadz, now available on YouTube. Also, the steamy reggaeton track “Hasta La Vista” premiered on Apple Music hours before the album’s release and is featured as the cover of the platform’s New Music Daily playlist.

Puerto Rico is well-represented with appearances by Cosculluela, YOVNGCHIMI, and Jay Wheeler.

La Pantera Negra” arrives in a year marked by success for Myke. The rapper released a hugely successful collaboration with world-renowned DJ Tiësto on the remix of “LA FALDA,” partnered with MLB for the “El Béisbol es Otra Cosa” campaign, received a nomination at the 2024 MTV VMAs for his global hit “LALA” in the Best Latin category, and graced the covers of Billboard Latino and Rolling Stone en Español, as well as their regional editions in Colombia, Mexico, and Spain.

In October, Myke will bring his new album to the stage with his “La Pantera Negra” tour, produced by Live Nation. The tour kicks off on October 2nd in Fairfax, Virginia, and will take the Puerto Rican star to 18 cities across the United States and Canada. Tickets are on sale now.
