Miami Design District Hosts Sixth Annual Fashion Strikes Cancer! The Miami Design District is proud to host its sixth annual Fashion Strikes Cancer event series in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Founded and led by fashion visionary, stylist, and breast cancer survivor, Angeles Almuna, this year’s events will honor Executive Leadership Life Coach and cancer survivor, Gisela Lowenstein. 360 Magazine is excited for an event like this to do so well because an important cause is happening.
Miami Design District’s series of events will kick off tomorrow with a Pink Dome Lighting & Dance Ceremony; followed by a Sunset Yoga Class on Thursday, October 14th; a Live Concert by MISO on Friday, October 22nd; and lastly, a Charity Rapha Bike Ride and Run/Walk on Sunday, October 24th. In addition to the series of events, various tenants including Ximena Kavalekas, The Kingdom, and MIA Market will also be participating in the neighborhood’s efforts to support the BCRF in their own unique ways. Furthermore, Fashion Designer and Illustrator, Valeria Krasavina of Fine Frenchie, will be designing 300 ‘Think Pink’ T-Shirts and Tank Tops, created exclusively for Fashion Strikes Cancer, which will be available to purchase for $35 via Fine Frenchie’s website: HERE; 100% of the purchase price will go towards the BCRF.
