Mercadito, one of Chicago’s top restaurants for authentic Mexican cuisine and tequila and mezcal cocktails released a new specialty cocktail, Mex Tai, in honor of National Mai Tai Day. The delicious libation includes Casamigos Mezcal, Canada Oaxacan Rum, Orange Liquor, Orgeat and Lime (sunshine not included). Guests may enjoy the cocktail on the restaurant’s outdoor patio or in the indoor dining room, which opened to guests last week.
Winner of Diners’ Choice 2020, Mercadito, is dedicated to keeping things fresh and flavorful —from their homemade tortillas to seasonal guacamole. Mercadito is open for dining and in an effort to protect their community from the spread of Covid-19, they have taken the following precautions: tables will be 6ft apart, guests’ temperatures will be taken upon arrival, sanitizer stations will be available throughout the dining space and extra care will be put into sanitizing tables between reservations, which can be made here.
