On May 29, multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning music icon Lil Wayne released the deluxe version of his chart-topping album, Funeral, including 8 new tracks featuring Lil Uzi Vert, Tory Lanez, Doja Cat, Jessie Reyez, Benny The Butcher, and Conway The Machine.
Wayne surprised fans and dropped the album during the 6th episode of his hit new show Young Money Radio, which included guest appearances from Dr. Dre, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Kevin Hart and featured artists on the album.

In the midst of COVID-19, the show illustrates how the hip-hop community is coming together and helping their communities during the pandemic. While speaking with New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, Wayne announced his non-profit, One Family Foundation, and Apple Music are donating $200K to New Orleans via World Central Kitchen. Additionally, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey announced his $750K donation to add to Eminem’s $250K donation to support COVID-19 relief efforts in Detroit.
Funeral marks Wayne’s 5th No. 1 album on the U.S. Billboard 200 Chart, joining Tha Carter V (2018), Tha Carter IV (2011), I Am Not a Human Being (2010) and Tha Carter III (2008). Wayne recently released an extended music video for “Piano Trap” and “Not Me.”
