Twenty One Pilots’ song “Level Of Concern,” currently sitting at #1 on Billboard’s “Alternative Songs” and “Rock Airplay” charts and rising on others, is a multi-format hit. The track, which is the band’s first release since their 2018 RIAA platinum-certified LP TRENCH, garnered over 100 million streams around the globe. On top of that, its Reel Bear Media-directed music video surpassed 30 million views in just one month. Today, the band released “Level Of Concern” (live from outside), an alternate version of the single featuring Paul Meany (Mutemath), Jesse Blum (MisterWives), and Simon Jeffris.
The concept for the reimagined take came from Twenty One Pilots recorded a remote performance for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: At Home Edition. The performance, which is available here, sees each musician delivering an open-air performance while in quarantine.
Members Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph will be donating a portion of proceeds from “Level Of Concern” to Crew Nation, a global relief fund for live music crews created to help touring and venue crews affected by the pandemic.
