ATL-based Grammy nominated rapper Latto starts the year off with her new single and video “Lottery” featuring LU KALA via RCA Records – click here to listen. Directed by Chandler Lass, the visual for the upbeat bop comes out later today at 12pm ET. The video will make its broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU, MTV Biggest Pop and on the Paramount Times Square billboards as well. Latto ended last year hitting the lotto – she garnered two 2023 Grammy nominations for “Best New Artist” and “Melodic Rap Performance” for “Big Energy (Live)” in addition to winningawards for “Best New Artist” at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards and BET Awards. The release of her hit RIAA-certified 2x Platinum single “Big Energy”in September 2021 has made Latto inescapable. She went on to make history with the single as the first female rapper to ever have a #1 record at Pop, Rhythm and Urban Radio with the same single. Overall, she’s also the first female artist in 12 years to accomplish this feat, joining the company of Rihanna (“Rude Boy”), Alicia Keys (“No One”), Beyoncé (“Irreplaceable”), Mary J.
