#1 hit songwriter/singer Lance Carpenter releases his new single, “You’re Beautiful.” The song is the seventh single released off Carpenter’s ambitious project The Demo Sessions, where he’s releasing one song per month in 2021. The Demo Sessions includes 12 songs, 19 co-writers, 11 producers and 18 musicians.
In the story behind the song, Carpenter explains that this single is a departure from his traditional country sound as he didn’t intend to sing the song when he wrote it with fellow songwriters Steve Diamond and Pavel Dovgalyuk.
“We originally wrote the song for a European artist,” says Lance Carpenter. “We sent the demo with my vocal to the sound engineer in Germany and when the artist didn’t show up for his recording session, they took my demo vocal, mastered it as a dance mix and sent it back to us. We were blown away.”
Carpenter describes the single as an original song with a universal message of love and acceptance in a country dance mix perfect for the summer! Carpenter is asking fans to share their stories of who is beautiful in their lives on his socials.
“It’s so different from anything I’ve done before,” says Carpenter. “It was kind of a happy accident. I hope fans will enjoy it and dance!”
“You’re Beautiful” is now available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music and more. Carpenter also created a very touching Lyric Video that is now available on his YouTube Channel.
Lance’s talent and passion for his craft was recently recognized as he was awarded Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2021 Arkansas Country Music Awards last month.
In addition, Lance Carpenter has launched Music Row Coach, an online mentoring community for artists and songwriters, where they can have access to Lance and other music industry veterans. The platform offers video lessons, exclusive workshops, and live coaching sessions to help artists understand the fundamentals of songwriting and the music business in order to succeed in their career.
“Music is my passion, but mentoring is my purpose,” says Lance Carpenter. “I want to open up doors that weren’t opened for me and I want to build doors that aren’t available now. I want to help others achieve their dreams.”
