Nigerian Afrobeats Singer songwriter and one of the most streamed artists in Africa, Kizz Daniel, has released “Cough” with Latin superstar Becky G out now via Flyboy Inc / EMPIRE – listen HERE.
The single follows a massive year for Kizz Daniel. For the first half of 2022, he was the #1 streaming artist on the continent of Africa, which culminated in a performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Kizz also had two #1 Global Shazam records in 2022 with his record “Buga” and the original version of “Cough (Odo)” amassing hundreds of millions of streams globally.
Hailing from Ogun state, he graduated with a degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology in 2013. His 2014 single “Woju” was nominated for “Hottest Single” at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards and was followed by “Laye,” another hit song whose video was shot at different locations across the eastern part of Africa.
Kizz released his debut album, New Era in 2016, followed by his sophomore album No Bad Songz in 2018 featuring Davido, Diplo, Nasty C, Diamond Platnumz and more. The album topped the world album chart within 24 hours of its release.
His album, King of Love was released in 2020 with hits contributing to his award nominations and wins. His latest EP, Barnabas, was released in 2021.
