Kempinski Hotel Cancun invites guests and visitors to experience a richly immersive Day of the Dead celebration, combining traditional Mexican culture with the hotel’s renowned luxury and service. On November 2, 2024, the hotel will showcase beautifully adorned ofrendas (traditional altars) and host “Recuerdos,” a Noche de Muertos tasting menu as part of its acclaimed culinary program, Aromas & Sabores.

Created by Chef Sergio Picazo, head chef of El Café Mexicano, the “Recuerdos” menu will showcase a gourmet journey inspired by authentic Mexican flavors, designed to honor the memory of loved ones in line with Day of the Dead traditions. Guests can enjoy this culinary experience for USD 83 per person, while those with the Endless Flavors All-Inclusive package will have the dinner included in their stay.

In addition to the curated five-course meal, the celebration will include a tasting table featuring three premium mezcals: Espadín, Tobalá, and Cupeatra. These traditional Mexican spirits will be offered as part of the experience, enhancing the celebration’s connection to Mexico’s rich heritage.

The Recuerdos Tasting Menu ranges from Mini tostadas with velvety guacamole and fair-style chicharron to Huauzontle croquettes and pasilla chili stuffed with lobster.
