‘INVITATION’ was produced during the Codeshare Music Project <8bar Relay>, which was held by LIM GWANG-WOOK, Divine Channel’s producer. JUNNY was the final winner of the <8bar Relay> project in which Codeshare released 8 bar beats to the public, and any contestants would freely sing and upload the video. JUNNY’s project video is now over 3M views, and 3 years later, he is finally releasing the finished song.
Divine Channel took part in producing and has worked on songs like BTS ‘Fire’, VIXX ‘Shangri-La’, and EXO ‘What a Life’, and worked in collaboration on the added bridge section with No2zcat. Not only to add the perfection to his song, also featured by GAEKO of Dynamicduo, who has been known for his perfect rap diction for 20+ years in the Korean hip-hop scene.
The new release, ‘INVITATION’ falls in the trendy genre of R&B/Hip-Hop and Soul/Pop. Just like the name of the title, the song holds the meaning to invite his crush to his house to have a romantic night. With GAEKO’s feature, JUNNY’s melody line clashes beautifully as the rapper adds the story of the lyric with this rhythmic rap showing the synergy of the two Artists.
