Colombian Rock Superstar JUANES is set to release his new single“AMORES PROHIBIDOS” on November 10th – marking the first listen fans will have into the new musical growth begun by the globally renowned artist following his recent GRAMMY & LATIN GRAMMY winning ORIGEN album and world tour. Whereas ORIGEN brought Juanes back to re-embrace his earliest and strongest rock music roots through reinterpretations of some of the most influential songs from others that shaped his musical vision, this natural new creative cycle meshes that continued return to electric guitar rock with a deep dive back into his own long-praised songwriting skill that turned inward in focus during the recent pandemic period.
This resulting two years of writing and recording has left both the artist and his close collaborating producer (and fellow multiple Grammy winner) Sebastian Krys filled with excitement about soon sharing this new level creativity as a full album release in early 2023, (marking Juanes’ first all-original album since 2019’s “Más Futuro Que Pasado”).
