Jeff Langlois

The Los Angeles-based photographer with post-production roots – Jeff Langlois brings multiple disciplines together to forge a distinctive creative career. A passion for the natural world is evident in his work, but it is also informed by time spent as a flame artist at The Mill: a world-renowned visual effects studio. There, he worked directly with clients in the VFX suites and on set; creating Super Bowl commercials for brands such as Amazon, Audi, and Pepsi; along with product releases for Apple keynotes.

The Mill was where Jeff sharpened his eye for aesthetics and launched his career on the West Coast. This background not only complimented and influenced his imagery, it afforded him the opportunity to get behind the lens and shoot high-profile talent such as Kendrick Lamar, Doja Cat, and Jason Alexander.

He now carries with him a unique repertoire and finds fulfillment and enjoyment in the outdoor, travel, and lifestyle spaces. Jeff’s journalism degree represents a voracious appetite for connecting with subjects and everyone on set.

After a project’s entire shot list is accomplished, he loves exploring new creative ideas: either wishlist items or something spontaneous. One of his biggest influences, Joe McNally, said it best: “Always put your camera away last.” Joe highlights the importance of constantly being ready for unexpected moments. Much of Jeff’s portfolio is just that. Have a look at his stills and motion work here: @Jeff_Langlois
