British automaker showcases its largest model and powertrain line up to date
Jaguar Land Rover has showcased its largest model and powertrain lineup to date from both brands at the 2019 New York International Auto Show.
The show, held from April 19 – 28, will serve as the stage for the North American debut of the newly refreshed 2020 Jaguar XE sports sedan and the 2020 Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition, as well as the second U.S. auto show appearance for the all-new next-generation 2020 Range Rover Evoque.
The 2019 New York International Auto Show also serves as a milestone in the company’s commitment to electrification, as all electrified Jaguar and Land Rover powertrain options currently offered will be showcased on the stand. In addition to the all-electric (BEV) 2019 Jaguar I-PACE; mild-hybrid (MHEV) 2020 Range Rover Evoque; and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) 2020 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, the new mild-hybrid (MHEV) inline six-cylinder Ingenium engine debuting in the 2019 Range Rover Sport demonstrates the brand’s continued push to offer an electrified option in every one of its models that are new or significantly redesigned from 2020 onward.
The Jaguar brand will display a number of vehicles from its current lineup, including the new 2020 Jaguar XE sports sedan, 2019 Jaguar XJ50 limited-edition 50th anniversary luxury sedan and 2020 F-TYPE sports car. The brand’s ‘PACE’ family of SUVs will also be on view, including the new high-performance 550HP 2019 Jaguar F-PACE SVR; the all-electric 2019 Jaguar I-PACE; and 2019 Jaguar E-PACE compact performance SUV.
Land Rover will showcase the latest from its lineup of premium SUVs, including the complete Range Rover family: Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Velar, and the all-new 2020 Range Rover Evoque. The Discovery family will also be represented by the Land Rover Discovery and Discovery Sport.
