After unprecedented worldwide success on his debut single Hadal Ahbek, breakout Jordanian pop phenomenon Issam Alnajjar releases his new single Mn Gheirik Enti today via Universal Arabic Music.
Mn Gheirik Enti, which translates to “without you” in English, is a catchy and energetic love song about your partner accepting you for who you are, flaws and all. Issam smoothly sings over bouncy acoustic guitar, percussion, and hand claps, as the tempo picks up in the chorus, and he exclaims, “I keep asking myself what’s missing? How did you approve of me with all my flaws? Me, whose life is upside down. Without you, without you.” The video shows Issam’s growth as an artist and songwriter, as he takes center stage and proclaims his love.
On the inspiration behind the song, Issam says, “This song means so much to me. I wrote it from a personal experience I had. Also, it’s another chapter of my journey from Hadal Ahbek. I am very proud of it, and I hope you all enjoy my hard work behind it.”
Mn Gheirik Enti is the follow-up single to Issam’s global viral hit Hadal Ahbek, released earlier this year. Over the course of a few months, his debut single has amassed over 41 million Spotify streams and 3 billion sound views on TikTok, and the official video has garnered 11 million views on YouTube. The live performance video also has over 80 million views and counting. Earlier this spring, Issam teamed up with Loud Luxury and Ali Gatie on their collaboration Turning Me Up (Hadal Ahbek), which has 14 million-plus Spotify streams to date.
