Inhaler released two brand new videos through Vevo DSCVR on Wednesday for their songs titled “It Won’t Always Be Like This” and “When It Breaks.”
Vevo DSCVR focuses on developing up-and-coming artists through live performances, and they’ve carefully curated a catalog of musicians and bands in their spotlight.
Some of the artists include Billie Eilish, AB6IX and Alfie Templeman, and Vevo DSCVR has helped them reach wider audiences that may not have been exposed to their work yet.
The four members of Inhaler, Elijah Hewson, Robert Keating, Ryan McMahon and Josh Jenkinson, met in high school, bonding over bands like The Stone Roses, Joy Division, The Strokes, Depeche Mode, Interpol, Kings Of Leon and The Cure.
“It Won’t Always Be Like This” was their debut single, and it helped them to more than 25 million streams from a die-hard fan base.
The members explained “When It Breaks” as a song that communicates the anxiousness the entire world feels right now.
“It’s our interpretation of this strange and imperfect world we’ve come to live in,” the band said. “Things are gonna change and we are gonna be there when they do.”
