UNVEILS NEW FLAGSHIP TWO-PIECE FORGED WHEEL SERIES S1SC
The new Series S1SC line features stronger and lighter two-piece forged wheels utilizing proprietary forged rim barrels.
HRE Performance Wheels, a company known for making wheels with the utmost style, quality and exclusivity, has added a major product platform to its forged wheel lines with the introduction of the Series S1SC two-piece wheels. The Series S1SC is the first two-piece forged wheel line from HRE and offers greater stiffness, reduced mass, higher concentricity and eliminates the air seal required of traditional three-piece wheels.
The S1SC is the first wheel line to utilize HRE’s new proprietary one-piece forged barrel, named FMR™ (Forged Monoblok Rim). The S1SC wheels feature aggressive styling similar to the Monoblok P1SC and employ multiple technical design features for increased stiffness and reduced mass. In typical HRE fashion, particular attention was paid to spoke details, including intersection points and the fastener flange surfacing. The S1SC FMR™ barrel is launching with a clean contemporary profile, but the design and forged/machined construction methodology allow for future variations incorporating other styles such as vintage J-style flange lips.
“HRE is focusing a lot on advanced materials and technology at the moment, but we are also always looking at ways to improve our core forged products,” said HRE President and CEO, Alan Peltier. “This new two-piece forged wheel platform allows us to offer the modular styling of a traditional 3-piece wheel, while improving performance and quality across every metric, and the Series S1SC is only the first of many new forged wheel series that will incorporate the new FMR™ barrel.”
The Series S1SC wheels feature four different styles including a mesh wheel (S101SC), V-spoke (S104SC), split five-spoke (S107SC) and Y-spoke phone dial (S111SC). The Series S1SC initially will be available in limited fitments for 20-inch and 21-inch diameters for high performance cars, followed by additional designs, diameters and applications in the near future.
HRE Series S1SC wheels are available for order now at www.HREWheels.com and at authorized HRE dealers. First deliveries will start in Q1 of 2020.
