Since 1984, elite travelers and celebrities alike have referred to Hotel Plaza Athénée as their ‘home away from home.’ Nestled in Manhattan’s Upper East Side (in tight proximity to MOMA and the Central Park Zoo), it’s heavily revered for its decor and 5-star services. A tranquil treasure and best kept secret for over 30 years.
Hôtel Plaza Athénée sets the gold standard with it’s onsite dining – curated by Chef Oliver Keegan. The “Athénée sliders” are the perfect appetizer made with black angus, smeared with Sriracha mayo will make your taste buds tango.
After devouring our starters, we were whisked over to Bar Seine for handcrafted cocktails. A signature Gin Martini deeply infused with floral accents was dubbed as a “Hendrick Midsummer Solstice.” Splashed with cherry liqueur and garnished with edible flower buds, it was an effortless blend of both femininity and masculinity.
Shortly after, we stepped over to Spa Valmont. Stocked with Valmont cosmetics (which are exclusive to the property) for both men and women to topple the signs of aging alongside of therapeutic sessions which encompass natural resources from Switzerland.
In short, this 143-room stately accommodation comes with an array of suites and amenities which would be sure to enhance your stay while in NYC.
