New Jersey pop-alternative artist Gina Royale, now signed by Vere Music, refers to herself as “a more aggressive Taylor Swift.”
Royale’s mixture of poignant lyrics behind a driving track recalls Paramore‘s After Laughter. Some of Royale’s more notable titles include “Admit It,” “Low,” and “Hurts Like Hell.” Her music has been appreciated around the world, with more than 750,000 streams in total.
Playing shows spanning the country, her life experience is a cathartic, witty, and vulnerable experience, as seen in Gina’s live show, “I Wrote This Song About You,” a sold-out success in NYC.
Besides writing, recording, and playing songs inspired by those who hurt her, Gina is the proud owner of 5 guinea pigs and a gluten allergy.
