10 Summers/Interscope Records UK songstress Ella Mai announces her new single “Trip,” which will be available at all digital retailers on Friday, August 3. Having already made history with her whirlwind hit “Boo’d Up,” Ella Mai is the first woman to top three R&B/Hip-Hop Radio Charts since Beyonce in 2012. The 23-year old is also the first UK artist to reach #1 on the US R&B Singles Chart since 1992. The single recently held both #1 spots at Urban Mainstream and Urban AC Radio, a rare feat that has not occurred since Pharrell Williams double charted with “Happy” in March 2014.

The song of the summer currently sits at #5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and the accompanying music video has amassed over 159 million views on YouTube alone. The highly influential platform also handpicked Ella Mai for their Artist on the Rise campaign. Her sold-out Boo’d UpTour will officially kick off in Dallas, Texas on August 6. Ella Mai’s much anticipated debut album can be expected later this fall.
