Day of the Dog

dance music dog nft

With 10,000+ people in attendance, The Day of the Dog [DOTD] festival is the largest in Northern America, offering a unique engagement for owners and their furry companions.

The venue was located on Main Street in Santa Monica. It was astonishing to bear witness to so many pets with their loving owners. Further, there were numerous shopping experiences hosted by several vendors, offering toys, treats, and collars. Various activations were sprinked throughout: adoption stations, yoga, ball pits, 360 photobooth, DOGUE red carpet, and surfing.

Dog surfers, on their own accord, were able to Ride the Wave–an immersive experience. Another opportunity for them to keep cool was the 80-foot pool. Although it was mostly in shallow water, onlookers got an eyeful of animals with outfits as well as full-blown costumes happily playing with one another.

Scheduled doga sessions provided owners along with their pets an opportunity to get physical. It’s an alternative to the mundane walks and a clever way to socialize with your pet while you burn some calories.

Overall, no matter their size, the Day of the Dog Santa Monica hosted a spectacular celebration in honor of your fur babies.

Lil Durk drops new song via 360 MAGAZINE.

F*ck U Thought

Continuing to dominate the summer season, Chicago hip-hop trailblazer and multiplatinum superstar Lil Durk serves up a brand new anthem and music video entitled “F*ck U Thought” today. Stream HERE and watch the music video HERE.

“F*ck U Thought” sets the stage for the Deluxe Edition of his acclaimed blockbuster album, Almost Healed, coming later this month.

On the track, piano pierces a thick trap beat as guitar wails in the background. Durk holds nothing back on the verses as he leans into the production with a commanding cadence. It all culminates on a climactic and confident chorus with a middle finger raised as he warns, “You can’t blame me I done put in too much work, f*ck you thought!” To accompany the song, he delivers yet another explosive and larger than life visual perfectly tailored to the mood.

Meanwhile, his 2023 hit anthem “All My Life” [feat. J. Cole] peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, is certified platinum in 3 months since its release, and just reached #12 at Pop radio after claiming #1 on both Rhythm and Urban twice apiece. It has also racked up nearly a half-a-billion streams and counting in addition to 96 million YouTubes on the music video. Nearing half-a-billion streams, Almost Healed, marked his fourth consecutive Top 3 debut on the Billboard 200 and third straight #1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.

Durk shows no signs of stopping or slowing down though.

Alina Baraz - Keep Me In Love via 360 MAGAZINE.

Alina Baraz – Keep Me In Love

LA-based singer-songwriter Alina Baraz returns with a brand new single, “Keep Me In Love.” Listen HERE. The soulful score follows May’s “Breathless” collaboration with Austin Millz. This time around, Baraz’s longing for love is an innate desire, and she wants someone to reciprocate that energy.

Keep Me In Love” is a sonic concoction packed with infectious melodies, rooted in the kind of uptempo R&B that makes for a summer romance. A swooning gem that sparkles with Baraz’s commanding vocals, it’s an ultra-modern take on love that nods to her relatable songwriting. “I want someone, someone who gets me,” she coos over a balmy instrumental.

Behind the new track, Alina Baraz explains: “We pour so much time, love, and energy into ourselves, effortlessly and indefinitely. The idea [for the song] came from wondering if someone could ever do that for you. It’s easy to fall in love but to keep me in love, I long for that.”

Baraz has grown in popularity over the last few years, largely due to her pen and silky soprano. Most notably, she was part of a duo with Denmark producer Galimatias, which sparked the fuse for their collaborative EP, Urban Flora. The group disbanded and Baraz continued her solo trek through the industry, pairing up with frequent collaborator Khalid (“Floating” and  “Electric”) for several popular releases.

Her debut studio album, It Was Divine, received high praise from publications such as NMEOkayplayerDJBoothHypebeastComplex, and more. The 16-song project features appearances from 6lackSminoKhalid, and Grammy-winning rap icon Nas. Elsewhere, the genre-bending songstress has enveloped listeners with her impassioned (albeit gutsy) takes on love.

It Was Divine served as a formal reintroduction to the powerhouse vocalist, signaling a fresh start for one of the industry’s most experienced newcomers. Now, with the release of her second single this year, Baraz is ready to reignite the public’s demand for pop-R&B. With an appearance at H.E.R.’s anticipated Lights On Festival this Fall, and more new music on the horizon, Baraz isn’t back, because she never left in the first place – she’s just better.

Juana Martin – FW23-24

Spanish fashion designer Juana Martin presented her FW23-24 collection on Thursday, July 6, at 12 pm. Her inspiration comes from the post-Spanish Civil War and the dark atmosphere that surrounded it. Through this collection, Juana Martin transcends an emotional journey from a sense of destruction and deep sadness to a gradual emergence of peace and freedom.

Each dress has been carefully crafted to tell this story. Symbols embellish the looks, such as the bull, representing the strength of the Spanish people, the eyes, in reference to government surveillance, and the hands encircling the dress, representing a form of oppression. This collection places great importance on cubist and abstract art, the same art that was raised as a rebellion against the nationalism of the period. The white, black, gray and silver tones are inspired by the predominant palette of this Spanish artistic movement.

Each look in this FW23-24 collection has a symbolic name, evoking the various social-cultural and artistic movements of this pivotal period in Spanish history: resilience, hope and rebirth.

In it, Juana Martin‘s creations are veritable living snapshots, transcending a simple aesthetics to reveal emotional depth.

A giant dove unfurls from the latest look in this collection. It is the universal symbol of peace and freedom. In it, Juana Martin signals her desire for profound tranquility.

Duke Dumont releases new music via 360 MAGAZINE.

Duke Dumont – Losing Control

Duke Dumont releases new club banger and immediate fan favorite “Losing Control” – out now via Astralwerks, stream here.

Having been the apex of Duke’s live shows for the past few months, following the overwhelming reaction from fans, he releases “Losing Control.” A modern take on melodic techno nostalgia, the new track is a sonic eruption boasting hypnotic and euphoric synth prowess. Featuring vocals from The Boxer Rebellion frontman Nathan Nicholson, “Losing Control” is a masterclass from one of the world’s most versatile electronic musicians.

On the new single, Duke said: “I made this record alongside Nathan Nicholson with my live show experience in mind. Strobe lights, iconic visual, anthemic synth leads, and a vocal hook that conjures paranoia or liberation, depending how you interpret the song. At the festivals I’ve been paying it’s been a big moment for the set”.

The new single follows previously released “The Chant,” a monster club hit that marked Duke’s return and the most recent notch on his esteemed ‘For Club Play Only’ underground series.

Duke has steadily and not-so-quietly been building a formidable live show. Since his infamous Coachella 2022 set in which his awe-inspiring visuals coupled with a reconstruction of his music was unveiled, Duke has doubled down on what it means to offer an experience to the listener, truly emphasizing the live experience. Duke’s taken his live show across the globe, with notable shows in Australia, including Splendour In The Grass and America, including The Shrine (LA), The Mirage (NY), and Coachella.

2023 will see Duke continue his ongoing run of shows stateside, with his biggest US LIVE headline

set to date at Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks on October 27th. Tickets on sale now.

“The Chant” and now “Losing Control” arrive a decade on from Need U (100%) feat. A*M*E, which soared straight to number 1 in the UK. It became the first UK house track to do so in over a decade, reaching Platinum certification, and opening a gap in the British music consciousness for dance music to prosper on a grand scale.

Success to Duke is not defined by chart positions, nor does he make music with that in mind. His approach to putting the art first has still resulted in him being one of the world’s most successful electronic artists and somewhat of a commercially successful behemoth, with over 5 million monthly Spotify listeners and over 4 billion collective streams.
