Soon, Birdman shows up as if personally coronating them “Big Stunna” as these three titans shine together.

Quavo and Takeoff just sat down for their very first interview together as a duo on Rap Radar. They open up about his next chapter and hint at big things to come.

They also just dropped “Us Vs. Them” [feat. Gucci Mane]. It has already racked up 15 million streams worldwide and 4.5 million YouTube views on the music video. Instantly, XXL named it among “The 13 Best New Hip-Hop Songs This Week.”

Meanwhile, “Hotel Lobby” continues to put up numbers as a bona fide smash. The latter has already generated 26 million YouTube views on the Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas-inspired music video and 151 million streams worldwide and counting. Earning critical acclaim right out of the gate, Billboard proclaimed, “‘Hotel Lobby’ impresses with a natural camaraderie that the members demonstrated on their early mixtapes, as Takeoff handles the denser flow and Quavo gleefully punctuating every fifth word with another ad-lib.” Not to mention, the duo performed it as part of A COLORS SHOW, posting up 1.3 million Spotify streams and 3.3 million YouTube views on the video as the first in a series celebrating Black Music Month created in collaboration with Motown Records.

I hope this will be a title that has something equal to offer to veteran readers and folks who may be brand new to comics.”

New Maserati MC20 Cielo convertible Quail debut announced via 360 MAGAZINE

Maserati MC20 Cielo

Maserati MC20 Cielo made its North American debut today with an unveiling ceremony during The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, a prestigious automotive event in California. The Quail, part of the influential “Car Week” in the town of Monterey, was the perfect backdrop to share the open-topped version of Maserati’s newest super sports car with North American audiences.

Global Chief Executive Officer, Davide Grasso, was in attendance for the ceremony alongside Maserati Americas CEO, Bill Peffer, and Head of Maserati Design, Klaus Busse. Crowds of excited VIP guests and members of the media enjoyed the unveiling during a press conference which also showcased the new Maserati Grecale Trofeo SUV, and the Maserati MC20 Coupe. Thousands of guests were able to experience the MC20 Cielo during this year’s annual summer gathering, which has become a pivotal part of United States car culture.

Cielo — which means “sky” in Italian — is the spyder version of the new MC20 super sports car and offers a perfect mix of sportiness and luxury. Unique to the convertible segment, the Cielo features an innovative retractable glass roof with a state-of-the-art electrochromic (smart glass) window that can instantly be transformed from clear to opaque at the touch of a button on a central screen. The roof uses Polymer-Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) technology to provide a multi-faceted driving experience: it can be all-encompassing with the roof closed and opaque, offer a unique “sky feeling” when the roof is transparent, and allow for a holistic experience with the top down.

The MC20 itself represents a renaissance for the Trident brand as Maserati’s first super sports car in more than a decade. The soul of the MC20 is the revolutionary new Nettuno engine, a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V6 delivering 630 horsepower (621 U.S. hp) at 7,500 rpm and producing 538 lb-ft of torque from 3,000 rpm. It also marks Maserati’s return to producing its own engines and, notably, is the first engine destined for the road to use an innovative pre-chamber combustion system featuring twin spark plugs, a technology derived from Formula 1 racing.

The MC20 Cielo was developed at the Maserati Innovation Lab and is produced at the historic plant on Viale Ciro Menotti in Modena, making it 100% Made in Italy.

Steve Markel is the GM of Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce via 360 MAGAZINE

STEVE MARKEL – NGLCC

Listen to Steve Markel on 360 MAG Spotify/Apple podcast HERE.

Steve Markel is the General Manager for the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce with 20 years of experience in the events and entertainment industry. Steve now specializes in non-profit management, events, and diversity. Supporting the queer creative economy of Austin is his passion. In his free time, Steve is usually out attending live shows, practicing guitar, or designing new elements for his fashion brand Psychic Cactus.

Before working in the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, Steve worked in the South by Southwest (SXSW), the biggest conglomeration of various conferences and festivals, dedicating itself to helping creative people achieve their goals. As the Senior Account Manager of the event, Steve states that “SXSW is more than a festival. It was a dead start as a way for musicians that didn’t have representation to find either labels or managers or all those of the things that come along in the entertainment industry.” Meanwhile, it paves the way for expanding the influence and exposure of those artists on social media and everywhere.

After spending about 20 years in the event industry, especially festivals and entertainment, when Covid hit, Steve realized that he needed to make a transition to a position for gathering people and will be able to be around the crowds for those events. Therefore, He decided to apply for the Chamber, one of his old clients, for its opening position: the General Manager.

According to Steve, the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, which is at its 25th anniversary, holds multiple events all year round for the LGBTQ community. It just produced the biggest event that the Chamber has ever held called “Pride in Local Music,” which featured seven LGBTQ bands from Austin. Besides the celebration of the global pride month in June, the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce will celebrate their own pride month, August, with a sing-along of an iconic queer song led by the band. Also, a gala will be held at the end of the year where the Chamber will give out a $5,000 scholarship to students all around the nation who study LGBTQ-related business.

Steve is passionate about providing a stage for young queer artists and musicians in Austin. By helping them hold their own showcases and establish their own show games, Steve hopes that the Chamber would make those artists prosperous in their field.

At the same time, to expand the influence of the Austin artists on the internet, the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce is grouping with facebook and also with Google called the “Growth Google Business Package.”

Under the immense pressure of modern society, it is easy for people to lose their sense of self-identity. For those people who are having mental health issues and do not know how to love themselves, Steve inspired them by saying, “It’s important to always try to find the light in your life and whatever that light is. You really have to give yourself grace and find something good about yourself.”

BASTILLE – FUTURE

BASTILLE ANNOUNCES GIVE ME THE FUTURE  + DREAMS OF THE PAST OUT AUGUST 26TH

Earlier this year, Bastille released their hotly anticipated #1 album, Give Me The Future, a record that explores a futuristic wonderland free from restrictions. The album embraces a new wave of technology, which enables us to get lost inside our imagination and travel back and forward in time to be anyone or do anything.

Now, the band are adding a further instalment to this critically acclaimed release, sharing a three-part extended edition of the album, dubbed Give Me The Future + Dreams Of The Past, featuring another album’s worth of new songs, collaborations, covers, and reprises. Watch HERE.

“In releasing this version of the record, we wanted to give the complete picture of what we intended with this album and also explore the idea that you can choose your own adventure,” frontman Dan Smith says. “You can dive into the ideas of the future and an electronic world, or you can fall back into the past – away from technology and into ideas of memory and nostalgia – both thematically and musically. Or you can choose full-on dancefloor heartbreak escape.”

With the original album on part one, part two continues some of the themes and narrative from the original record, delving into songs that are shot through with notions of technological dependence, human connection, and the limitless possibilities of life online. Part three, meanwhile, acts as a mini return to the band’s acclaimed “Other People’s Heartache” Mixtape series opening the four-piece up to collaborations, covers, and concept-free creativity.

The new songs make ever clearer the link between the future and past, highlighting the ability to choose to go backwards as well as forwards like in more nostalgic cuts such as the Graceland-inspired “Family Ties.” Written about Smith’s memories of visiting his late aunt in South Africa, the warm, wistfulness of the track provides a counterpart to time travel’s usually futuristic sheen – as per new single, the rave-ready electronic club banger “Revolution”—listen HERE.

“Revolution” had always been one of the core songs for Give Me The Future and took inspiration from Quincy Jones’ production and The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face”. “The chorus is about the intimacy of human connection in the context of some science fiction, space-centred imagery. But it’s also about the idea of those amazingly thoughtful people who spend their lives trying to change the world in a positive way,” explains Dan. “I’m totally over-awed by people like that – if you’re one of them, like an inventor, activist or scientist, you have to have the ability to imagine a version of the future that’s better than what currently exists, and then have that energy to actually work to make it happen. Alongside all the other things life throws at you. So, I wanted to nod to those people and the idea that before anything big happens, most of them will have had these little revolutions in their minds, a change of perspective that leads to something bigger.”

On the “Other People’s Heartache” section of the album – Bastille bring that energy to life via collaborations; The glacial groove of “Run Into Trouble” with Alok, the garage stutter of “Eight Hours” with Tyde, a cover of the Bruce Springsteen classic “Dancing In The Dark,” and boundary-less new songs including the irresistible “Remind Me” and the melancholic power ballad “Running Away.”

The last song on the record is the beautifully ethereal “Hope For The Future,” a song which hints at where the band could sonically go next. Written for the soundtrack of the Leonardo DiCaprio-produced documentary From Devil’s Breath – a short film about forest fires, climate change, and tree planting. It centres around an acoustic guitar melody and Smith’s layered vocals. “I was thinking about Sufjan Stevens and Bon Iver and all the acoustic artists who manage to write music that is both orchestral and floaty, but also a grounded in some grit,” he says. “It was very much at odds with all of the synthesisers, drum machines, and electronic instruments and the production that we were using for Give Me The Future, but I feel super proud of it.”

Their fourth album, the masterful Give Me The Future, was hailed by many critics as their best release to date, with The Fader describing it as “a grand collection of sci-fi inspired songs attempting to make sense of the world’s fast-moving venture into dystopia.” NME said: “The result is the most expansive, yet cohesive record Bastille have put their name to,” adding that the band may have “created a perfect soundtrack to life after lockdown.” The Independent, meanwhile, declared: “When confined within Bastille’s catchy hooks and imaginative, era-spanning production, what lies ahead suddenly isn’t so terrible. The future is bright – for 30 minutes’ worth of bops, at least.”

Since the release of the record, Bastille has created an immersive experience at their sold-out gigs, bringing the themes of the album to life in arenas across the UK and on a tour of North America.

At this year’s Glastonbury Festival, such was the demand to witness their secret set, the festival organisers had to cordon off the surrounding area at the 1,000-capacity William’s Green tent as festivalgoers tried to descend in the masses to catch a glimpse of their secret performance.

Such fervent scenes will continue across the summer as the band play huge sets at festivals across the UK and Europe, including Boardmasters, Sziget, and two mammoth sub-headliner spots at Reading & Leeds 2022. Following that, they’ll take the “Give Me The Future” tour to South America, stopping in Argentina and Brazil, before continuing the enthralling trek across Europe.

ABOUT BASTILLE:
The four-piece has been experimenting and augmenting the Bastille sound since the release of their last album Doom Days in 2019, the conclusion of an unofficial trilogy. Last year, they released the Goosebumps EP, featuring Graham Coxon on “WHAT YOU GONNA DO???” and producer Kenny Beats on the title track, as they continued to pen songs that seek to understand and offer escape from the modern human condition. Doom Days received huge critical acclaim and charted in the Top 5 in both the U.K. and U.S., the only U.K. band to have achieved this chart landmark alongside The Beatles and Queen in 2019. The record found the band at their most lyrically provocative, most accomplished, and most vital and charts the course of one night in search of distraction from the surrounding apocalypse (sound familiar?). During the course of 2019, the four-piece continued to cement their reputation as one of the world’s most captivating live bands, having played an extensive two month-long sold-out U.S. and U.K. tour. At the beginning of 2020, Bastille received their sixth Brit nomination and their second nomination for British Group. In January 2021, Bastille was the subject of ReOrchestrated, a documentary film that provided a revelatory and bracingly honest new look into the band’s journey so far, framed through their ReOrchestrated shows and diving into themes of motivation, anxiety, and imposter syndrome. With over 11 million records sold, 6 U.K. Top 40 singles, and 1.5 billion video views, Bastille continues to be one of the world’s most streamed bands.

NO1-NOAH × SUMMER WALKER

NO1-NOAH UNLEASHES HIS LONG-AWAITED VIDEO

“BONJOUR” FEATURING SUMMER WALKER

“Bonjour” Lives on NOAH’s Captivating EP ‘You Should Come Over’

Singer-songwriter NO1-NOAH (Ghetto Earth Records/Interscope Records) steamrolls his way back into R&B contention with the video for his sweltering collaboration “Bonjour” with Summer Walker. The pair float on the flirtatious flex and blend NO1-NOAH’s enticing sensuality and self-assurance with Walker’s trademark honeyed vocals that fueled her to billions of career streams and multiple Billboard records in the last year. The video directed by Arman Mitchell and maliaSHUTup finds the melodic twosome enjoying a dinner party amongst friends after NOAH enjoys some quality time with the apple of his eye. “Bonjour” resides on NOAH’s seven-song collection You Should Come Over. Watch HERE

Along with “Bonjour,” NOAH has a fistful of highlights on his latest EP. First, he has “Bounce,” a braggadocious vibe set on an appropriately bouncy melodic beat, and “Thank God,” which has NO1-NOAH diving into the hip-hop lane, a sign of his genre versatility that will only develop with future projects. During this past BET Awards Weekend, NO1-NOAH hosted a mixer leading up to Summer Walker’s hotly anticipated A Hot Summer Night In LA at the Crypto.com Arena. There, the rising singer joined Summer onstage to perform their collaboration “Bonjour.”

After displaying beams of promise on Walker’s sizzling anthems, NO1-NOAH inked a deal with her label Ghetto Earth Records in December 2020. Her first artist, NO1-NOAH, looks to rattle the cages of R&B with his sticky hooks and mastery of contemporary R&B’s melodic stylings. Despite a young career, the newcomer has already skyrocketed to more than 130 million streams in the U.S. alone. The budding star also sharpened his live performance skills on the road with “The Summer Walker Series” concerts, which recently played dates in Houston, Chicago, and Dallas.

The promising songwriter was named one of Billboard’s 15 Hip-Hop & R&B Artists to Watch in 2020. Touted for his “ethereal vocals and intrepid lyricism,” NO1-NOAH first caused shockwaves in the R&B world when he appeared on Summer Walker’s EP Life on Earth on the standout tracks “SWV” and “White Tee.” He also recently joined Summer during her headlining set at The Roots Picnic earlier this month. With publications such as Rolling Stone and XXL already praising NO1-NOAH for his extraordinary talents, You Should Come Over heralds the coming of the newest star in the R&B universe.
